5 years of WSM cooking, I can't go wrong! – With my interest in “Slow cooking”, I researched what was available and came up with the Weber SMC as the best BBQ without the work to get it done, failsafe. Yeh, I’ve heard that before. My research kept coming back to this BBQ, so bought it, the mid sized 47cm version. Best decision I have made! This thing is amazing! strong smokey flavour which i like, (depending on your smokey wood preference which is adjustable), Set and forget, best Brisket ever! Simple and easy to use, utilising the same BBQ Bricketts, in the "Mignon Method, two circular rows of Bricketts and the hot chimney coals in the middle. Temperature is consistant at approx. 205-215 degrees (6-7hours), smoking with up to 4 lumps of wood (2 hours), then continue for a further 6 to 8hrs. Wow, what we have eaten out of this SMC is simply amazing! This BBQ is easy to keep clean due to its enamel coating, empty the ash and thats it! Love it’s simplicity and reliability! I use it on a regular basis, at least once per month. I have cooked all types of meats in my WSM, without a hitch. I have two other Weber Charcoal BBQ's.

I've only had one issue with my Weber which was probably my own fault which caused one of the cooking plates to start to lose its… Read more

protective coating and called Weber's costumer service number hoping just to order another to pay for myself but they sent out free of charge and this was after 6 years of use!

I swear by my weber and have since bought a Weber Q and multiple accessories from the brand.

BBQ Upgrade – Been using a homemade ugly drum smoker for a while and treated myself to one of these. Glad I did, smoking meat is too easy now and takes up less space in the yard. Also less fiddling with the vents to keep the temperature regulated compared to my old beast.  Show details

Good Product with After Sales Service "Beyond the Call of Duty" – Purchased the smoker in 2013 and have had excellent performance, not one failed cookout. Some minor shortcomings which have been addressed in later models. In 2017 the assembly closing the door failed. That the smoker was well outside the warranty period Weber Customer Services is providing a new assembly at no cost. We have other Weber products and all have performed well.  Show details ·  1
