These scumbags didn't turn up and didn't let us know they weren't coming. My wife called them but no answer and no return call, then finally got in touch for them to say someone was sick but they would definitely be there tomorrow first thing, again no communication and they didn't turn up. Finally we got Rubix Removals who turned up quickly and did a great job. Don't use these lying scumbags.

West Coast Removalists would have to be one of the worst businesses I’ve ever dealt with. I ordered a large truck and was supplied a medium, so the movers had to do two trips. I was told and it was confirmed in writing that the truck would come from their Armadale depot but they came from Osborne Park. Armadale was maximum 30 minutes travel… Read more

whereas the Osborne Park Depot could be more than two hours depending on peak hour traffic. The Website gives you all these guarantees, but if you have an issue after service you cannot get anyone to respond to your emails. The phone number is answered by a couple of different people working from home by the looks of it. They shield the general manager from any complaints and that gets you nowhere. I have emailed four times over my overcharge of $260; charging me from Osborne Park instead of Armadale; confirmation that the job would start between 8-9 when they arrived at 12.25; they tried to charge me $1,200 but dropped it to $803 when in fact it should have been $591; and that a medium Van was supplied instead of a large. All emails have gone unanswered. The general manager, Ian Taylor, who provides the quotes and the booking confirmations via email only, is totally engaged prior to service but after service, every email is totally ignored. I also checked for an ABN. West Coast Removalists do not appear to have an active ABN. No invoice/ receipt has been received either. Please, for your sanity stay away from West Coast Removalists. It’s not worth the heartache or the headache.

⭐️ 1 star – Total disappointment. Do not recommend. I am absolutely disgusted with the service from this moving company. We had a confirmed booking for 16/12/2025 at 1:00pm, with an agreed price. I even received a booking reminder on 14/12/2025, so there was no confusion on my end whatsoever. On the day of the move, they simply did not show up.… Read more

No call. No message. No explanation. We were left completely stranded on what is already one of the most stressful days you can have.

Because of their failure, I had to start from scratch, scramble for alternatives, and ultimately ended up staying another night at the house, causing unnecessary stress, disruption, and extra costs.

This level of unreliability is unacceptable. If you value your time, sanity, and basic professionalism, do not book this company. Learn from my experience and look elsewhere.

The absolute worst experience ever – If you like stolen, broken items and late people these are the company for you. The company would not reply any emails and when I finally got through to them I was abused and threatened. It was a simple 2 bedroom unit move to a new location around 5km away. The company arrived over an hour late despite them advertising an on time guaranty. Items missing and damaged were simply denied.

NEVER AGAIN – Moved 2 storage units containing furniture from a 3 bedroom house with study. Job was meant to start at 8am but they were 2.5 hours late ok they messaged telling me but only after I messaged wondering where they were. Then not even 5 mins into starting the job they broke the head off a garden statue. Although a bit upset I let it go as I knew the… Read more

statues head was already cracked. The first unit was cleared out without must issue, was it because there were only 3 items, I don't know. Moving on to the larger unit. My antique queen Anne bedhead had its 2 bedside tables ripped off leaving it now in 3 pieces. A free standing lamp with a broken base, a coffee table with the leg broken off, a jarrah column plant stand with the top broken off, and other items that are now not the same as when they went it. So would I ever use them again NEVER. They were advised from the very start that the items in storage were all antiques but still they were rough as hell moving it all. So beware if you decide to use them in the future.

though I stated the job would only take 2 hours. Was asked at the end of the job if I knew they charged a 4 hour minimum, when I was disputing this with the manager on the phone he threatened to put my goods into an expensive storage facility if I did not pay up. We agreed to a 3 hour charge which he said I should be grateful for since I didn't read the terms and conditions. He was extremely rude, speaking over me and then followed up with an abusive email calling me a 'Karen' on several occasions. I have written asking for a partial refund, apology and update to their confirmation bookings so it is more transparent. If this does not happen within a week, I am engaging consumer affairs to act on my behalf as I would hate for anyone else to go through what I have.

I believe this same company is operating under the name "WA Removalists" - https://www.waremovalists.com.au. Removalists - Also going by West Coast Removalists We engaged this business based on their quoted half-hourly rates and specifically requested a large truck, which was advertised at $104 per half hour plus crew due to the size of the move. Instead, a much smaller rental truck was provided due to their usual truck allegedly being unavailable, which significantly increased the total move time to approximately 13 hours.

The final amount charged was $8,939, which was substantially higher than what the quoted rates would reasonably indicate. Even recalculating the move based on the advertised rate for a small truck over 13 hours does not come close to the total charged.

Despite repeated requests, we were not provided with a proper itemised invoice or clear breakdown of costs. Payment was also requested before the move had been fully completed, which placed unnecessary pressure on us during an already stressful situation.

We attempted to resolve the matter directly and professionally before escalating further. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage others to obtain detailed written pricing, truck specifications, and itemised invoices upfront before proceeding.

Avoid West Coast Removalists. I was quoted $199 per hour for a move that took around 2.5 hours, yet was hit with a $1400 bill at the end with no clear explanation. When I questioned it, I was told the movers were subcontractors and couldn’t provide a breakdown, and to contact the office. The office then sent me back to the movers and said a… Read more

manager would call me, which never happened.

The movers then reduced the price to $1100 on the spot, which felt like pressure to just pay and move on without any proper explanation.

On top of that, the whole experience was incredibly stressful. The movers came across inexperienced and careless, which only added to the anxiety of the day. Moving is already stressful enough without feeling like your belongings aren’t being handled properly.

Based on the total, I was effectively charged for over 5 hours, including around 3 hours of “travel time.” I live only about 30 minutes from Perth city, so I have no idea where their depot supposedly is to justify that amount of travel. This was never disclosed upfront.

I followed up with a formal email and multiple follow ups requesting a full breakdown of the charges and clarification of how the time was calculated and received no response.

The lack of transparency, poor communication, added stress, and being charged far more than quoted is unacceptable. I strongly recommend going with a company that is upfront and accountable, because this experience was anything but.

inadequate. No communication prior to arrival and expected the same price.

2. Never mentioned or stated on their booking confirmation that they would be charging full price from their workshop in perth to southern suburbs for travel. Locked my furniture in their hire truck demanding payment for a job they had not finished.

3. Their service is outsourced to subcontractors who have no experience in removal works. They simply hire cheap labour and charge top dollar for the most disgraceful work ive ever encountered.

4. Broken and scratched belongings, no accountability at all. Brand new walls scratched and chipped every room they entered.

This company needs to be prosecuted by department of affairs and be treated like the scammers they are.

This is a franchise and the removalists had no experience in moving furniture. they took forever and a day to move the small amount of furniture I had and badly damaged my elliptical trainer by lifting it by the screen (completely cracked and was hanging by wires). they also damaged my glass chest of drawers which I didn't see until a couple of… Read more

DO NOT USE THESE GUYS! I wish I had have seen these reviews before hand. It took them 4 hours to pack a 2 bedroom house I had even made it easy and put it all in the garage for them and in the end they had wasted room in the truck and couldn’t fit it all. I had to make a choice and get them to pull stuff out to put the fridge and washing machine… Read more

in and today I need to hire a trailer and get the rest myself.

From the get go the removalists were hard to deal with, slow and extremely lazy. For context the last guys I used had it all packed in the truck in under an hour and that was from a second story apartment with the same furniture. Once we arrived at the new house it ended up in a stand off demanding payment before unloading and I had to quite literally argue with them just to at least get the big stuff I can’t move myself inside the house. I was told on the phone they would put my stuff anywhere I wanted. They complained and argued with each item I wanted inside. They took so long they had to cancel the next job because it was too late.

They’re clumsy and rough as well. They dropped my washing machine off trolley and they hit my tv with something and now has a scratch on the screen

AVOID THESE GUYS AT ALL COST! You’d be better off doing it yourself

Extortion and unprofessionalism. They were 2 hours late. 2 guys with no former removalist experience. [Name Removed], the manager was unaccountable for that - and rude. Organised a move for today late last week, for two pick ups and one drop, had confirmation email which stated time and day not which address to pick up from first. address listed. I went here for the scheduled time. 36 minutes into said time I receive a text to tell me to check my email, I did this and 2 mins prior to receiving the text I’d received an email stating there was an injury on one of the guys on the first job and now he has to go to hospital and although they tried to get someone else they would be unable to do today. They could however rebook me tomorrow afternoon, but couldn’t do first thing as had others that couldn’t be moved. Injuries happen, I get that but if it was on first job then I should have been informed before scheduled time not 34 minutes into it. I’ve got someone else coming, do not go with these people. I wish I’d read the reviews prior.

size truck and could not fit all of the furniture and he could not pull the beds apart. He only packed 3 mattresses, packed boxes and a small fridge. He said he would go back on Sunday and get the rest and I would have to pay Sunday rates. When he arrived on Sunday, he still did not bring the beds, dining table, office and a wardrobe and said it could not fit in the truck. I said I was not going to pay and I would call the office to sort it out with them and he threatened to take back all of the furniture. So I paid. I also saw the other man that was with him, take a bottle of wine and hide it in the truck, I told Jayden and he left $20 for it which I didn’t want to take. I now have to hire another removalist to bring the rest of my furniture. And had to pay for twice and still did not get all of my furniture.

Rude morons these muppets. Asked for a quote and I needed to clarify the costs and their lengthy detailed email. I needed clarifying as I like to clear figures and budgets up in total. The reply back about it was sarcastic and not helpful, sitting on a high throne of I should figure it out myself. I ended up replying and saying thankyou I’ll pass. Response to that was @you can move your crap yourself then”. Freaking states of these fools.

Like others, I wish I'd seen these reviews after I was sucked in by prompt and courteous communication when I asked for a quote and booked them in. West Coast Removalists was booked for 12 pm on 3/4/25. They said they'd call 30 mins before arrival, so at 12.15 I called to check how far away they might be. Y'know, so I could either do other things… Read more

or be ready for them. The guy I spoke to said he'd check with the logistics manager and call me back. Nothing.

At 12.45 I called again and left a voicemail. At 12.55 I tried again and was again sent to voicemail. At 1.05 pm, the first guy called me again sounded frustrated that I should have had a call and said he'd chase it up. At 1.15, I got a text message to say the guys were running late as they were tied up on another job. They also asked me to text for updates as the office wouldn't know where they were up to. I messaged back to ask if that meant they were an hour away or it would be late afternoon. A message back simply said 'later this afternoon'.

At 2 30 I messaged asking for an update. Nothing.

At 3.30 I again messaged for an update and to see if they were even going to arrive that day. Nothing.

At 4 pm I range other removalists.

At 4.15 pm I again messaged the number to say I've booked someone else and not to bother. ONE MINUTE LATER I got a response saying 'OK, no worries'.

I sent an email to the address used when booking and had zero response.

This is literally the worst removalist I have ever dealt with, and they didn't even do the actual removal. Avoid at all costs.

nothing but lies. So they came the next morning in a truck that was faulty, the hydraulic tailgate wasn’t working so they had a massive ramp instead which made things a lot slower. Once loading the truck (so slowly mind you) they didn’t account for the massive ramp they needed to stow away and spent another 45mins reorganising so it could go in. Once we got to the other end they were just so bad unloading the truck and on the last item to unpack they dropped my stone table on the ground and put a massive chip In it which they didn’t even seem to care about.
