Poor quality fridge and even worse service from manufacturer – Purchased the fridge from retailer (Harvey Norman) and wishing 7-10 days good was going off. A repair person set a sensor in fridge for 5 days confirming average temp > 7° C. Manufacturer said they would fix but give it was less than 2 weeks old I asked for a replacement. The replacement is now (in fridge) freezing goods at -10° C despite being… Read more

set at 3. The local repair person has been good. Harvey Norman we’re good and the manufacturer could not have cared less about their product.

A very functional and attractive fridge! – We bought this Westinghouse WQE6060SB French door fridge with automatic icemaker and water dispenser close to a year ago because of its lower height fitting into existing cabinetry. It has all the features we love, including a fingerprint resistant stainless steel front, an easily accessible ice cube container with scoop in the left freezer… Read more ·  1

compartment, a water dispenser in the left fridge door and PLENTY of space throughout the fridge. The double doors really allow you to store items of all sizes. The freezer has separate drawers to organise your foods (an ice cube container plus extra space for small items like ice-creams on the top with 2 full drawers below on the left side and 3 full drawers on the right). The fridge is extremely quiet. The only downside is the small stream of water from the dispenser takes a while to fill a glass, but it's not a deal breaker. This happens with other fridge brands as well. Highly recommend this fridge!

Fridge Good, Ice maker not so good – Water from water dispenser is cool for a couple of glasses but then it struggles. Ice maker tray broke after 2 1/2 years. Mechanism nipple snapped off that sits in the tray, looks pretty flimsy but still not sure why it failed. Tray was just hanging down one day. Ice tray below was not full so there's no reason for the tray to come under any… Read more

resistance when it was emptying. Freezer draws are a bit small but this was the only fridge that fit into the space we had that had an ice maker and water dispenser. Filters for the water dispenser are about $75 and last about 6 months if you use daily and change when the light comes on. Had a Fisher & Paykel prior to this and we sold after 18 years of service. I expect to have ongoing problems with the ice maker but will see how long the rest of the fridge fares, don't expect I'll have it in 18 years though.

Was great until it stopped working – We purchased in November 2020 and had no issues with the fridge until March 2022 and being a long weekend made it even more of a headache. We have contacted Electrolux and eventually got a tech out who advised the fridge needed to be replaced. We are still waiting for the fridge and have heard no updates as to what is going. Considering how… Read more

expensive the fridge is I would have expected more. The inconvenience of not having a fridge is bad enough let alone when it's been over 2 weeks since we first made contact. The only compensation given is $200 for the approximate cost of food lost.

I wouldn't bother purchasing anything through Electrolux or Westinghouse again. Very disappointed in the customer service and given they couldn't even log the job correctly to begin with but tried to sell me an extended warranty for the fridge that wasn't working has put me off this brand even more.

Edit: contacted Electrolux prior to posting review 30/3 was told someone would contact me arrange delivery for 31/3. Still have not heard from anyone.

Was also provided email address for mediation when review was posted and sent email at time review was posted and no reply.

Customer service is non existent. Sick of being the one to initiate contact and getting nowhere. Would have been better to get a refund and purchase a different brand.

Update: After going back and forth we relented and have decided to take a store credit for original amount of purchase. To replace fridge with equivalent model we will be $400 out of pocket but given the stock levels don't have much choice.

I would never recommend dealing with Electrolux was told the fridge was not in stock and wouldn't be delivered until May after being told it would be 3 days to 5 days and should have been here end of March. Disappointed with Westinghouse and Electrolux considering we are in a financially worse position and ended up having to purchase a smaller LG fridge so we wouldn't be without a fridge for close to 3 months.

On a plus side The Good Guys have been amazing in recommending a similar product and were amazing to provide a fridge for cost price to assist us and make sure we weren't stuffed around anymore. Also they advised would assist in refunding the store credit after they receive it so we weren't left out of pocket 8 weeks for a refund since that is how long a refund through Electrolux takes though a store credit is 2 to 3 days.

Really like it but limitations. WQE6060 – Fridge arrived in a timely manner, set up well and was very impressed with first looks. 3 months in now and still enjoy using it every day, but I’ve found the storage in the freezer just isn’t practical small drawers that are a bit awkward to use as food is stacked on top of each other with limited access. Noise puts me of a bit as well, always… Read more

something going on an assortment of hums, gurgles, and moans, all I’m sure quite normal as it runs wonderfully but disconcerting at times Overall a good unit shelves are quality, vegetables are fresh and good storage for bottles on the side. The metal wine rack/bottle rack I think unnecessary but need the odd gimmick, ice/water great.

Great Fridge – If like us you have a "900mm" fridge space, there are not many options. Either they're 906-916mm wide or much slimmer. This fridge is made to fit into those 900mm spaces and it fits perfectly and looks almost built in. I like the dark finish, fingerprint free. The door storage is very useful unlike most water/ice fridges, and there's heaps of… Read more

space. The drawers work well in the freezer, and overall I'm really happy with this purchase.

The fridge is also dead silent, I noticed some reviews for the previous model talking about loud motors but I can't even hear this one when it's on.

Best Fridge I have owned – Love the dark stainless steel look and feel. No fingerprints to worry about. Ice maker is better than my previous fridge, with massive compartment to retain ice cubes. Shelves are well spaced and heaps of door shelf space for large milk bottles etc. The water dispenser is not as chilled as our previous fridge, but still serves cool water that is filtered through the fridge part (not freezer). Overall a beautiful fridge. Show details

Great sized fridge – After much researching we decided on this fridge/freezer as it has the filtered plumbed in option. I could not be more happier. The size is great, Loads of storage on both fridge and freezer... love the options of the draws and shelves. Show details

No chilled water! You’re kidding – Speechless that the water dispenser does not provide refrigerated water. What is the point?? I can get ordinary temperature water from my tap. After paying for plumbing, was shocked and bitterly disappointed to find this out. I hate a product that pretends to be something it isn’t. Would not have purchased this super noisy imposter if I’d known. Bitterly disappointed Show details

Awkward Access – This fridge we chose due to its size only, it fitted into our kitchen layout. It is the only sized fridge of its kind available it would seem. The access to the top drawers of the freezer section is such that you need to open the top fridge door to be able to get anything of a decent size out, and same when you put it back in. The freezer… Read more

drawers are very shallow, so even a common icecream container is too tall. Was advised against a bottom drawer freezer as they said it was awkward to lean over and reach into, but it may be better to hold all sized items. Our water dispensed is reasonably cold, no complaints there. The icebucket works well, has to be emptied at times as the ice becomes stuck together at the bottom.
