We really like this fridge/freezer. The asymmetrical design means you don't have to open both doors to get anything out, and we love that the bottom compartment can be a fridge or a freezer. Only four stars though because it can be noisy, especially when ice drops into the storage area, but it could be worse. And like others have said, the… Read more

temperatures are inconsistent - even at the 4 degree setting it freezes vegetables. We're just careful about where we put things though and it's OK. We've had it for about 4.5 years and it is still performing well.

Terrible product. After a few months when purchased new fridge started leaking. Contacted Electrolux several times and kept sending technicians. Technicians have pointed out the problem and 9 months later still chasing for the repair. Fridge is still leaking and Electrolux is still sending technicians, yet still no repair. Kitchen floor is now… Read more

damaged from all the leaks. Terrible company to deal with. Doors are not aligned which makes opening and closing function feel flimsy. The fridge makes a loud running noise every few nights. DO NOT BUY!

Rubbish – Absolute rubbish. We had one replaced under warranty and now experiencing similar problems with replacement. Not worth rating. SPECIAL NOTE: After this review was posted the Westinghouse technician called and stated that second fridge was unrepairable. The technician was able to diagnose the fault quickly and reach a decision. I was then… Read more

contacted by Electrolux Australia and offered an in-store credit of the initial purchase price, which I accepted. Now owner of a new fridge from another manufacturer.

Great Fridge – We bought this fridge two years ago at the peak of the pandemic, so weren't given a lot of choice because we needed one urgently. It has performed flawlessly and we like the wide shelves in the fridge section and the door shelves, which are deep enough for two rows of wine bottles or milk cartons. One compartment can be either fridge or freezer,… Read more

which might be helpful if you're having a party. Power consumption has been measured at just under one kWh per day, which is less than the sticker rating and also 30% less than the slightly smaller LG fridge it replaced. We don't have kids so the door isn't being opened and closed all day. Some here have commented on the noise but it isn't intrusive in a kitchen or living room environment and you don't buy a fridge this size for a bed-sit. There is an occasional clunking from the icemaker for a few seconds only, and you might be able to hear the water tank filling if you have noisy pipework. A minor quibble is that it requests you change the water and air filters about every six months; maybe all fridges do that. The filters are quite expensive and I'm not sure why they are even necessary, you can buy generic ones on-line for about 1/3 of the price, though. PS After another six months the water dispenser has started "running on" for a few seconds after you take the glass away - maybe air getting into the line somewhere.

Not worth the money – Purchased fridge and within 4 weeks the freezer compartment stopped cooling. would have to acknowledge the fault and would say 'Adjusting Temp" then everything would be defrosted, and fridge still said -18 degrees. We were told we had to contact Westinghouse by the store we purchased from and after 5 attempts at being on hold for over an hour and… Read more

the phone hanging up, the store we purchased finally decided to replace our fridge. Worked okay for almost a year and now having the same issue, all our items in the freezer chucked yet again. waiting for a repairer to come and assess, will be getting a refund. Fridge is also very noisy all the time. The ice maker is very loud. shelf set up isn't the best, such a large fridge and you can't seem to fit much more in it than a 400L fridge. Avoid Westinghouse, dishwasher also dead on arrival and the customer support from them is nonexistent.

Icemaker constant problems, 3 months, still not fixed – The icemaker worked on and off since receiving it. It bangs during the night when it works. About 2 months out of the 2 yr warranty the icemaker wouldn't work. The wiring and walls of the fridge were frozen. I had taken out a GoodGuy (GG) 5 yr Gold Service policy, I found out months after reporting it, it did not cover the icemaker. I reported the… Read more

fault in the GG, Cairns store and they organised a repair to be picked up from a different state? They didn't seem to know the icemaker wasn't covered. The repairman and Westinghouse said the fridge was out of warranty (before I was advised it was not covered), that they had to wait for approval from Westinghouse (WH), that took a while. When they agreed to fix it, but there was a limit to how much WH would pay and I may have to pay? Dream on! The shelves are hard to clean, you can't take them apart or take them out, so food stays in the crevices. The water filters must be changed every 6 months at a cost of over $70. If you buy from the store other than where you bought the fridge, that will be blamed for it not working, so it costs over $140 per year, just on water filters. It is hard to source an air filter, none in the GG. If you follow the instructions on the water filter packet, the icemaker might not work because you must turn off the water or just water will cool, it the cubes might not work. The repairman told me this. The PCB was not sent so I don't know how long it will take now. 3 months later, waiting for parts, it's still not fixed. I would never buy this product. Could you cope with no fridge for 3 months while you wait for parts? It is the hottest part of the year and the icemaker not working for over a month is bad! What if the fridge didn't run at all!

The best fridge freezer I have ever owned in 40 years – Amazing internal capacity for food storage. Including platters, bottles of wines etc. The best water dispenser on the door I have every had. Water pours well, (not too slow) and water not room temp or TOO cold, just perfect. Does not take up any space on inside of the door like many other brands. Great freezer section, so easy to find item as there are internal drawers. This is the perfect fridge/freezer for a couple or small family. Show details

Great fridge, love the flexible compartment – This fridge is working great and matches our kitchen decor perfectly. The kids love the water and ice dispenser. It did have a problem after a few months where a bit of water would leak out of the dispenser when you opened the door, but they were so quick, professional and helpful with a repair that we are very impressed. They replaced the tube… Read more

and installed an improved hinge in the left door without us even needing to empty the contents of the door. All working perfectly now. The doors do seem to slam shut a bit agressively for my liking but nothing falls out. Maybe it just takes some getting used to the difference with my old fridge.

Loud crackling noises, from the fridge mainly in the evenings – Have tried calling to speak to a service operator for the last two months, waiting for an hour on the phone and no response never get a callback, disappointing service. Show details

Good design - noisy when cooling down – This fridge looks sleek and is well designed. Cold water is easy accessed and fits tall bottles, snack drawer a bit random - seriously noisy when cooling down, based on this I would not have purchased if I knew of the noise issue beforehand  Show details

Terrible design with inconsistent temperature – This fridge has so many poor design aspects it's not worth spending the money on. In the fridge section, I have the temperature set at 4 degrees but the crisper for vegetables has a temperature measured at 0 which causes vegetables to freeze ALL THE TIME! The fruit basket also has the tendency to freeze fruits in the back section. We have had so… Read more

much food spoilage due to this temperature issue. The snack draws are just a gimmick to disguise some redundant space due to awkward design and cause the baskets to slide out at a weird angle.

In the freezer section, the reversible trays may seem fancy but they are so impractical and substantially reduces the freezer space in the next tray. The sides of the 4 upper trays are too shallow to hold small packets of food in place. Food stacked on the top tends to slide backwards as I pull the tray forward and then it's a time consuming exercise to remove all the other trays and baskets so I can fish the fallen item out. Even though the fridge claims to have 680L but due to its poor design, it holds far less food then what you'd expect.

Why the door are not aligned? – We received the fridge today, and the doors are not aligned - one door in and one door out, one door higher and one door lower. Not sure if this is normal with four door fridge but given paid 3k+ you would at least expect all doors are aligned as shown on the ads. Show details
