The only issues I have is not having an extra rinse cycle on the mixed load and other short cycles. Im only using about 1/3 of the recommended washing liquid and the clothes come out with residue on them. And also for towels if you do a very small amount of washing liquid and you air dry the towels they come out hard and stiff. I believe this is… Read more

because I'm either using the wrong cycle or the lack of extra rinse cycle . I would love some advice on how to rectify this . And another thing if you wash 1 or 2 bath mats they don't spin out properly and come out with alot of water still in them.

Disappointing dryer. Doesn't dry the clothes, no matter how long it is on. Took nearly 8hrs to dry a load when I persisted with it. After a couple of hours in the dryer, I still have to hang the clothes on an airer overnight under the air con. Expensive and totally disappointing! Show details

I wonder why the manufacturer has 15 minutes Express wash without hot water and a low spin rate. The next level is Daily 39 minutes with hot water and a high spin rate. I do not want to wash my clothes for 39 minutes. Phoned the manufacturer and was told the settings could not be changed. When purchasing, I did check that the Express wash had… Read more

hot water but then found that the retailer had not been truthful. When questioned she said "Oh, all machines are like that now". Maybe the designers have never done a load of washing.

After reading reviews I was confident with what I was purchasing. Upon delivery and within a week of owning the product, the dryer started to make knocking noises. I called the warranty line and connected with Electrolux who referred for a technician to come out and it all fell apart from here on in. The referred technician text to say a part had… Read more

been ordered and two weeks later arrived to inspect the machine. It was identified that the drum needed to be replaced, something he hadn’t seen before. A new drum ‘was ordered’.

A month passed, no correspondence from the technician, nor Electrolux. I followed up, and a service representative from Electrolux advised they would chase up and get back to me the next day. A week passed, and still no reply from Electrolux.

I followed up once more only to be advised that they, needed to contact the service centre to seek an update. I questioned why, when this should have occurred a week ago. Unable to answer, they advised they would follow up and get back to me within the hour. The day passed, no response.

I called back, asked to speak with a supervisor, this was declined. I requested a refund and for my issue to be escalated, again. This time advised I’d have someone from the escalation team contact me the following day.

During this time, the dryer completely stopped heating. Not only was it knocking, it had since stopped drying.

The following day comes, and the agent advised I’d need to wait, as they have no report of the inspection of the Westinghouse dryer. I asked for a refund, due to the poor follow up, lack of communication and degradation of trust. This was declined. I was advised I could have a store credit or wait for a 6-week refund review to occur.

Electrolux, you are a disgrace, dishonest and unprofessional. My trust in your brand (Westinghouse, AEG & Electrolux) is no more.

Your call centre lacks experience, understanding and ability to help the customer. Your product quality is questionable at best.

A very reliable and very easy to use. Also very well priced. If you’re looking to buy a new clothes dryer, Westinghouse has been around a long time and they make a really good product Show details

I don't like this machine. This machine doesn't seem to discharge all the water from previous washes and my clothes are coming out stained with what i believe is the old water sitting from the last wash. I know there is old water in there because when you start a wash, the machine starts by expelling water and although nothing comes out, there is alot of gurgling. Never had this problem with prior machine, no changes to how I do my washing. Show details

I did a lot of research before deciding on a new washer and a new dryer. I wanted a matching pair if I could as we are renovating. I used Choice and and also price and talked to the sales staff at my local stores. In the end features, choice rating (4th best and overall with 84% rating the best one was only 87% and another $600. Meile was 80% and… Read more

cost $2999!) and my budget for both items under $2000 budget one the day. So I have only just installed this dryer three days ago, but it's been going full time pretty much, as we have moved back to our home after a couple of years and I have some clothes contaminated and smelly from storage. I know that vented dryers are quicker but who wants a steamed up room. I love how this is gentle on our clothes and bedding and is quiet. It is early days but I am very happy. I paid $1099 and paid another $239 at Harvey Norman to have warranty for 5 years. I am very happy it!! Winning!

I wish I never bought this! – Like everyone else says, the dryer takes 3 hours to dry a normal load. It also beeps when supposedly finished, and then continues to rotate and beep until you get up and turn it off. The sensor also says the clothes are dry and turns the dryer into finished mode when the clothes still feel damp. No matter how many times you re-start it to… Read more

completely dry your clothes, the dryer will not operate if it thinks the clothes are dry even when they are not. My dryer also faulted within warranty (water pump failed and all the water poured out of the bottom of the machine). Electrolux agreed to replace it as the wait on parts to fix it was over 3 months. Its now been 3 months, and I still don't have a replacement dryer and I have made weekly phone calls and emails to Electrolux with no progress! I am continuously given dates that the dryer will be delivered and it never happens. Look, the dryer is not great in the first place in my opinion but the worst thing is if it happens to break under warranty, ELECTROLUX are the absolute worst to deal with, complaints and enquiries just keep going around and around and even though they apologise each time I call, the issue gets escalated to someone who never actions it and there is no resolution. The whole experience has been stressful, draining and completely frustrating.

Terrible – Was going good at first and now all I get is this loud noise everytime and use to go for 3 hours. Its been 5 hours now and still going. The video i show, is in the loungeroom that's how loud it is. DONT BUY. Had a repair person come out, turns out the motor is dying !!. Ive only had this thing for 2 years and it's given me problems ever since getting it. Avoid buying and stick to tumblers Show details
