Westinghouse Family Size Freestanding WSF6602XR Questions & Answers

Hi guys same problem as everyone else dishwasher just stops working have pulled it apart and taken out the board and did some research seems the board configured EDW isn't working another cost of $173 seems like this should be replaced for free as there is hundreds of cases of this board stopping working I can put it in myself and save $150 tech guy coming down but still seems to be priced over-the-top for something that shouldn't fail so commonly.

I have another "no power at all" case of the Westinghouse WSF6602XR Dishwasher to report. It appears that most of these are destined to this fate. I have a all Westinghouse kitchen and was extremely happy with all the appliances. Particularly the problem dishwasher which was so quiet. No it is eternally quiet. This machine is in my holiday house and I would have used is less that 50 times. I was so happy with it I recommended Westinghouse to my mother, who then bought one., and I bought a second one (a later model) for my main house.

It completed a cycle wonderfully before the fault, on immediatlely loading a second load it failed to power. Can you please help? I have used this machine seldomly and it is of mint appearance as it has completed less than 50 cycles in its lifetime. (Probably about 30 cycles in its entire life time). Restore my faith in your wonderfully silent dishwashers so I may be responsible for a fourth Westinghouse dishwasher purchase.

I have an error 30 coming up on my westinghouse WSF6602XR model, it keeps making a noise from the pump area after washing dishes, there is no water or rubbish in the trap, but continues when the machine is turned off, we have to disconnect the power to make it stop all together, is this a pump problem (replace) or a mother board problem? or something else.

Hi, we also have a problem with the dishwasher WSF6602XR. It has error 20 flashing and water lying in the bottom of the machine. The machine was new when we bought the house in 2012. It comes up with the error 20 in all programs after a brief period. I would appreciate the contacts for the agents in New Zealand and remind them of the Consumer Guarantee Act. Please respond to this in the open online forum rather than write this all out again. Thanks

Hi. I have a WSF6602X purchased in late 2012 and it's just stopped turning on or working at all. I read reviews came to the conclusion that it could be a control/interface board issue which many others had at the 5 year mark. An Electrolux service technician came out and after 2 visits said it would need to be taken away for "further investigation" at my cost ($35 per 15 minutes & $110 to pick it up) I'm incredibly disappointed that I've only got 5 years of use out of it. The service man couldn't be bothered with the hard yards and didn't listen to any of my feedback. Do I cut my losses and buy a new one or try someone else who might have more of an idea what's wrong. I believe it's repairable and it should last longer. It had been great up until this point.

It appears from reading comments from other Westinghouse buyers that I bought a lemon. 4 years in and after regular faults displaying 0.20 my dishwasher has now lost all power. Very disappointing and it seems that they are made to last as long as the warranty then they fail completely. Lost all faith in the Westinghouse product.

Will have to ensure we stop fitting the new units with this brand.

Is there anything that can be done?

Hi. Our Westinghouse dishwasher is 2 years old and flashing a 20 code during cycle. Do u have answers to this problem? Drain hoses and catch baskets are all clean and clear of debri. Model number is wsf 6602xr
