Electrolux to open my freezer It is ransom (And I had this fridge since new for about 2 years only) Their manual mentions removing food from near a sensor but does not say where the sensor is! This is a $2400 fridge I should have the option of accessing my contents without paying them $200 I ought be able to open a freezer! Its perfect 8 years and still going – Everything working fine for 8 years, and more years to come, just need to change fridge seal gasket for the freezer because my 16 months old baby keep open and close it door, curious baby excited. Show details

5 Years Old - Still Working Well – Purchased second hand, 3 years ago (part of my house). It has been faultless. Having the fridge above the freezer makes it easy to get to the most commonly used areas. I like the small french doors but this configuration can't self close. Show details

Nice looking – If we had a chance to choose again we would look at another fridge. Bending over to get at the freezer is difficult. Also we are having trouble with condensation leaking on the floor. Show details

Great Fridge,has never let us down, but freezer draw needs occasional adjustment – Australian Made marvel. What a shame we don't make the here anymore. Love our fridge, not looking forward to ever having to replace it, looks the goods and has stood the time test of children in and out of it continually. Terrible Fridge. Doors don’t self close and freezer drawer won’t seal – This fridge had issues from day 1. The freezer draw would not seal. Technician attended 4 times. 8mm so none of these fixes were ever going to work. Finally told Electrolux to replace it or come and take it away. Finally it was replaced. Drawer closes and seals but doors remain open without being pushed hard closed and water drips from the 2 doors all over my hardwood floors. Regret this purchase should have stayed with Fysher Paykel.

slow and disappointing. Even under circumstances of how it stopped working. We already had a technician out just after purchasing it as the doors were not matching up correctly. We are still waiting for it to be looked at.

I will have to Cancle the Technician Tomorrrow. It is a small compact fridge, & gets the job done, Easy to Clean & Easy to wipe Inside, the Freezer section is quite Big, with the Ice Cube Maker & Ice Cube Tub on hand in Summer this is a Welcomed Treat For a Hot Day Cool Ice Cubes. terrible seals on both the fridge and freezer sections. Not sure that this fully explains the jump in power usage, maybe it has an electricial fault as well. I'm very disillusioned as I bought a Westinghouse believing them to be the best. I will hesitate before buying this brand again.

Door seals. This fridge was purchased in 2012 and the freezer door is not sealing properly. It appea – Very dissatisfied customer, freezer is not maintaining frozen food, ongoing problem with ice! Runs ok but now just died – This fridge had been an average purchased. Good ( appearance , shelving, cooling ), bad ( door functionality , bottom freezer coming off runners). Rusty doors on stainless steel fridge?? – I've had this fridge for about 4 years. The first 2 years were fine but then it started getting rust spots on the surface of the freezer and fridge doors. freezes (you need a pick axe to get into the ice-cream). Am sick and tired of paying for a service man to come and look. Last time he came the fan kicked in when he pulled the fridge out. I have been told that they have had some issues with the electrical cord spiking the electronic panel, and the latest is that I am not shutting the freezer properly. (Had no issues before Easter - but now I am not capable of shutting freezer door!!!!! and if so why doesn't the alarm go off). A few weeks ago alarm went off 16 hours after the freezer had been used. I want to know how much longer I am expected to put up with a fridge that clearly has an issue that is not the owner.

light switches when the doors closed were invented ..... well around the same time fridges were invented. We can always see a very small amount of light in a dark room leaking from the centre of the French door join seemingly indicating the fridge light never goes off. No wonder it blows out and needs replacing so often.

Combine this with the horrendous freezer door sealing and I literally will almost give this fridge away when we move to our new place in a month. It pains me to think about parting ways with a $2400 fridge after 2yrs but it really is just that bad.

Freezer seal issues – Loved this fridge for the first couple years, but now the freezer isn't sealing properly. Despite cleaning the gasket and pulling out the freezer drawers to remove the large chunks of ice, the seal is not flush. Judging by other comments, replacing the gasket is not going to be enough.

Buy another fridge!! – $2000 for a fridge that I have had for 18 months. I had its electronics replaced due to not cooling. Now it's making a clicking sound. My freezer like everyone else doesn't close leaves a gap to frost – Was working good for 2 years but seal on the freezer is not sealing anymore. Fridge doors require the extra push - always walk away going ahh damn doors. Everything else is fine.

Fridge beeping. Do not buy this fridge if you want a peace of mind – I had to buy this fridge because my previous house had a narrow entry to kitchen. because the door is open. The door design is no good when you close one it pops open the other side due to air pressure. It is a poor design there is no way to release the air pressure when one door close. If you want a peace of mind do not by this fridge.

Never again – This appliance is very frustrating. Firstly the doors have never swung shut even after adjustment they always have to be manually pushed shut then as soon as you walk away the alarm starts beeping, now everything in the fridge is being frozen although I have checked and reset the temperature constantly.

Great for a short time – We were very happy initially with our French door fridge affectionately called the Disco fridge due to the funky blue interior lighting. The glitz has certainly worn off with the fridge never feeling cold and doors never sealing correctly. DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE – Freezer seal is coming away and not flush against the fridge. Freezer constantly freezes up with large ice shards. Freezer drawers don't open properly. The steel sliding part for the drawer just fell off. Waste of money. Technician has already been out and told me nothing was wrong!!!! Taking this to Consumer Affairs or any consumer service that will take this matter further for me.

Do not buy this fridge! – No temperature control.. Freezer doesn't close easily so I am constantly throwing food out..the top drawer has been an issue.. This fridge looks huge but there is an unbelievable amount of totally wasted space..it's Christmas Eve and this fridge had just carked it.. Happy customer? Definitely not! Perpetual problem – The fridge is fairly new and I have problem with the door from day1. The doors do not close flush with a normal shut and the company says it is normal with this design!! Other brands have a nice flat seal for the doors to go and butt against, very neat. There is a frequent whistle from my fridge to prompt me to go and shut the door. Lately there is a lot of frost in the freezer which again the company says is common in hot weather!!

Freezer not sealing – It seems my issue of the freezer not sealing at the top is a common complaint. Had a technician out and yes did the hair dryer trick. Does the freezer draw have a maximum weights? Would this be an issue, we have tried to minimize the weight. But no change..

Doors never close. Alarm sounds sometimes but whole fridge drips water all over my new floor – Doors don't close without extra push. Alarm has stopped sounding. So interior starts dripping water all over the floor. Big decision to buy this fridge and I'm so disappointed. I bought from appliances online. handles (not easy for 84 year olds) but unfortunately the freezer handle keeps falling off when opening the drawer. Apart from that I couldn't be happier with the service, delivery and fridge.

I can't say I'm happy – From the beginning the freezer seals have not worked properly, it started of with a small gap which has now gotten wider and wider.. Not happy with this and it has certainly made me not to want another french door fridge / freezer again. All I can say is never again.

steel is brilliant! Freezer seems to be good as the ice cream was just perfect coming straight out. My old fridge had the ice cream rock hard.
