Thank you Amanda and Hannah for your help yesterday, terrific service and you were most helpful and went to extra effort.
Office of Fair Trade Qld have issued formal warnings
Today 6 Apr 2022 OFT Qld have issued formal warnings to this company about the trade in paperwork including the contract of sale for a Prado I bought just recently that for some strange reason the company bought back from me with out any warning etc due to them failing under law to honour warranty
Stay clear of this company by all means unless you want to loss what you have due to their attitude and very poor admin skills
Wrong engine number
Wrong milage
Wrong colour
On contract of sale
And the list goes on
Make sure you compair all numbers including engine number and milage and colour before signing anything with them

First service on new car @ Westpoint -56 Parramatta Rd, Underwood
From the initial contact with the service desk (They initiated), having to change days to suit, my experience was top notch with the service team. On the day I arrived I was greeted politely and was taken care of immediately to have my new Haval H6 looked after and even washed by their team .

Great service
Took my car in for its service. It was ready in good time and I was able to wait and work from the service centre. The staff member was thorough, polite and efficient. They even cleaned it inside and out. Couldn’t fault them. Would definitely recommend.

Honda CRV - warranty - back seat fold down mechanism
We purchased our second Honda CRV in 2014. The vehicles has been comfortable and reliable and good for the family needs we have. The issue I'd like to made others aware of is that we were offered a 10 year new vehicle dealership warranty but the dealer than closed or moved so that no longer applied.
We have had both of the back seat fold down mechanisms stop working . These cost approx. $300 to repair each and a day off the road. Apparently neither are under warranty.
Just need to be aware that dealership warranty may not apply when yo...

Purchased a New LTV G10+
I went through Westpoint autos to purchase my LTV G10+ Van rather than the local dealers up here where i live because of the prompt feedback and offer of support, i was very happy with the customer service throughout the purchasing process, the staff were very honest, forthcoming with all details of the vehicle and made me feel welcome, I would definitely purchase another vehicle through Westpoint Autos in the future

Poor customer service and no care after getting your money
After purchasing the Haval H6 customer service was non existent. I had to ring only to find out the car was there but onone bothered to let me know. I had to work out the price for the final payment. When I went to pick the car up they tried to give me the wrong car and I had to explain why it was not the car I was to pick up. They was no logbook, manual or spare key. I had to go back to get them only to get home and find the logbook had not been stamped. I was told all I needed would be sent out. This did not happen. After many calls to custo...
Read moremer service and promises of a call back I have not received any calls to address my issues. Customer service told me to bring the car in to have the issues fixed however never told the service department. I could not in good faith recommend the Westpoint Autos group as a place to purchase a vehicle.Find out how Westpoint Autos compares to other Car Dealerships

Service and followup terrible
I recently had my LDV Trailrider 2 in for its 30K service. . During the service i told them that the battery was sometimes flat of a morning and i required jump starting. I was told that this was looked at and fixed during service. I found i was still having a flat battery if i didnt run my car every day. I called service and was told they would have to source a battery and i would have to pay for replacement. I stated this was urgent as i was travelling to Moreton Island and did not want to be stuck with a flat battery. Despite assurances, I h...
Read moreeard nothing back. Sure enough, on while on Moreton Island, with no roadside assistance, I found myself with a flat battery and stranded. I am very unhappy with Westpoint service and followup. I also question the warranty that should be on this battery and do not believe i should have to replace it at cost after just 12 months. On LDV community sites online, this seems to be a common problem with this subpar battery that comes standard so i find it difficult to believe that your service department would not know of this. As i have already spoken to your service department before the service, at time of service and then again after the service, i want to have this in writting so that maybe we can get the issue resolved as soon as possible so that i dont need to continually get a jump start for what is basically a new car.- 9 reviews

Sales over service me thinks
All we had to do is pay some money for a car that isn't released and thats it . Booked an appt . Turned up with the salesman going for a test drive . They took photos of my trade for a wholesaler again even though I sent it to the wholesaler . So it took me 50 minutes to get there . But 45 minutes I thought why am I waiting here with an 'appointment ' go for a test drive . Decided to drive to my local dealer . I immediately got the sales manager . We chatted for 30 minutes .. paid my deposit . Wholesaler trade done at the price I wanted . Job done .

Worst experience of my life.
Purchased a Hyundai ix35 (2014) (generally Hyundai ix35 are reputable cars) from the Westpoint Autos Indooroopilly in early 2020. I was assured it was a safe and reliable car, looked in good condition and had low km's. Not so! Malfunctioned on my way home (owned 1 hour), didn't even get me home. Also Westpoint Autos sales documentation had the WRONG rego number with potential implications to my insurance. Since then, the car malfunctioned a further 7 times, each time sent back to Westpoint Autos for "repairs" but continued to malfunction. Malfu...
Read morenctions included recurrent MIL (check engine) illuminating and loss of power when accelerating into turns. Car was barely without malfunction (or in for repair) the entire time I owned it...now 17 months. I asked for a refund and because Westpoint Autos claimed these multiple, recurrent (and hazardous) malfunctions weren't a major failure and refused to refund my money, I went through the court. The court ordered a partial refund (and that's a WHOLE other horrendous experience!!).....Horrible experience all round, absolute nightmare. Would NOT recommend Westpoint Autos. If I could give -10 stars, I would. Also check out A Current Affair story "War veteran's battle after being sold "lemon" car" (9Now, 2020) also about Westpoint Autos, Indooroopilly. Drive on
Probably would have to be one of my worst purchasing experiences in a long time . It now seems ironic that the salesman mentioned how many Nissan dealers I drove past to come to them . I ask myself the same question . Took overpromising under delivering to the next level.

Never set foot in Westpoint Auto Hillcrest
Since the very first visit to the store I should have realised this was never going to be pleseant but hey what could go road, local dealership and done all my research so knew what I wanted and just have to pay and drive away. Well how wrong cood I be, I won't bother you with the pre sale and waiting the 6 weeks for delivery and lack of comunication and I was ok with that, I knew there was a wait. So firstly still waiting for matts promised as part of the sale, ordered car over 12 weeks ago and had the car over 6 weeks now and apparently sti...
Read morell waiting on stock, yer right..... Secondly I got the full pamper package internal/external with tinting. They couldn't do the tint when collecting due to a bad roll, no worries. They say will be in touch within the week, 10 days latter nothing. Figured I would call, O yes I can see we haven't done this when would like, Wednesday is the earliest. Turn up, appointment was cancled to next wednesday.... U think to call and tell me. Well finally get it done and the boot of the Haval H6 is dripping in water.. Sorry sir not sure how that could happen.Check your car over before you leave after a service.
I have a Suzuki, bought 2017.
My first couple of services were fantastic: great customer service, car came back clean, got great advice on a couple of things.
Since the start of 2020, the services have been ~okay~. I've had 3 services, and countless visits over mistakes that have been made. Fittings and parts from inside the car (non mechanical) have been missing or broken each time - I ask them to fix item A, and they give me my car back with item A fixed/ replaced but then Item B is broken or missing. Once they accidentally left the seatb...
Read moreelt plugs UNDER THE CHAIR. I didn't realise until the weekend when I was supposed to be picking kids to babysit. It's happened every single visit since COVID19 has been a thing. When I try to call or email they take weeks or months to respond, they haven't kept records of correspondence, and the staff turnover has been wild so I'm talking to a new service manager every time. Only service your car with them while your in your warranty/ cap priced servicing limit.Questions & Answers
They made some large scratches on my beautiful unmarked hyundai i30 with only 11000kms on the clock. Marked the drivers sill down to the metal, inspite of my leaving a note and telling reception that i wanted it back in the as new condition it was currently in. Will they fix it do you think?
