they said they'd be. My issue was with the placement of the panels once all done. They weren't within the borders of the roof cappings as the photo comp showed prior to installation. I DID NOT KNOW as I am not a solar technician that this was an easy fix. So I raised the issue that evening via email, to which the owner addressed me immediately to his credit, even though it was 7.30 ish at night. He said he'd get it rectified and it wasn't a problem. I thought.... Great. Thank you.

However I got jip from the installer when he phoned to rearrange for them to come back. Although not rude, he did try having a pop at me that nothing was said when they left. He complained about having to pay guys wages! So not sure if he wasn't owner, how he's paying wages? It leaves me to question are they even Westsun people? He wasn't prepared to wait until I was home to readjust the position and said he'd do it and send pictures. The pictures never came and it still isn't completely right. This is where I think Westsun have let themselves down again. Nobody ever checked with me to see if I was now happy with final placement. I was surprised.

The system works fine so that is good but the monitoring app is bob basic and it is not as informative as I was told it would be. So if you ask for comments on system I'd say ok, but the treatment? I run my own business. I appreciate the importance of a good reputation and good representation by people who work for you or under contract to you. Unfortunately this time Westsun didn't nail it.

again they were only too happy to respond in a polite and efficient manner. The time of installation was decided well in advance allowing me to book a day off. The team arrived early in the window that they said they would which was excellent and liaised with me initially so that I was sure that what was about to be installed was what I had ordered. And even though it was a little late in the day when they finished they stuck around whilst a problem with hooking up the inverter to the wifi was resolved showing no sign that they were going to do anything but fix the problem without any fuss. It was fixed and the whole system is currently working perfectly.

happy to quote exactly to my specifications, with two other systems for comparison. They were the lowest price for the system we wanted, and they helped me learn about what it was we were getting. The measuring took place on time and confirmed their assumptions, and the price remained as quoted. The installation team turned up on time and worked hard to get the panels onto our roof. To my mind, the process was as smooth as it could be and I was impressed that Westsun were helpful, straightforward and didn't try to change the price. It remains to be seen how the system performs, but given that we bought the best available, I am sure we'll be fine. I have ticked the yes button regarding being offered a "reward" for this review, but I would have been happy to provide the above regardless.

Very happy with all aspects of sale and install – Having received two quotes for solar installation I went with WestSun Solar and was very happy with the outcome.
