Customer can't win.
I purchased an annual multi-trip insurance in the hope of being covered.
The insurance and airfares we payed 4 months before any sign of the 100 year flu.
Needless to say when virgin cancelled our flight due to border closing we claimed the replacement
Qantas flights on our insurance,no luck.Had another go and again no.
When I tried to cancel the remaining insurance to recoup some losses,guess what,no go.They can,t lose.
So if I was you I would ask Woolies what they do cover rather than what they don't.It will be a very short list.
Softened the blow of having items stolen.
Purchased insurance primarily for medical and car excess coverage but grateful our baggage loss was mostly compensated by Woolworth insurance. It was a fair claims process without too much hassle.
Not worth and a junk policy
Be careful with exclusions. I bought annual multi trip cover and this was my first claiming experience due to unexpected flight cancellation.
This policy doesn't cover cancellations due to technical fault by the airline & it doesn't state anywhere.
It is false advertising when selling this policy.
What is the point buying a travel insurance when it doesn't cover a common cause of flight cancellations??

I would like to thank the people at Woolworths Insurance, we just got back from a holiday in Thailand where my husband became ill and had to be hospitalised. Woolworths Insurance were amazing, could not fault them. Nothing was to much trouble and your people rang everyday to check on us both and to make sure we had everything we needed. Not to travel without it
Top value, five minutes to put in place, only took 6 days from start to finish for a claim, first time user of Woolworths travel insurance but certainly not my last
speedy claim process
I have been using this travel insurance on an annual basis for 3 years and only this year had a large claim following an accident requiring my hospitalisation and cancellation of travel plans. I was able to provide full details and the claim was paid in less than 10 days. I will continue to use them
I have an annual Policy with Woolworths and travelled 7 times. Have never had to claim on any travel insurance before but unfortunately recently had to. Smooth and easy from beginning to end. Friendly helpful staff. No problems at all and had payment within the week

We certainly do cover Cruise's in our Travel Insurance Policies.
However, it is important that you specify the right destination when you purchase the policy.
If you are visiting only Australian ports during your cruise, then at the time you purchase Your policy you must
specify Australian Cruise as your destination.
