We placed our order with Wynstan at the end of January 2026 and paid 50% deposit. We were told 8-10 weeks until they would be installed - so no later than the end of April. getting told it would be installed the following week but no installer ever contacted us and we have been left with having to constantly chase for updates. We’ve now been told that hopefully the blinds, which should have been made by April, should be with the installers soon. I'll believe it when I see it. Buyer beware.

I also took the option for them to remove the old blinds too which was worth the small amount extra I paid. I highly recommend Wynstan. I couldn't be happier with the result.

We had Crimsafe double security front doors installed. The product is amazing and looks great. Angelo the sales rep was amazing, not pushy just straight to the point. Appalling after sales service. 2 days after installation, one of the screws securing my outdoor awning pulled away from the wall, which made the awning inoperable. Four weeks and numerous phone calls after requesting repairs, I still have not received a phone call to schedule a service call, despite being told that 7 - 10 business days was the standard. Show details

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! NEVER BUYING FROM WYNSTAN AGAIN! My partner and I recently purchased the Siesta “blockout” blinds for our new baby 1 month before her arrival. complaints to Wynstan asking for a refund and being told “I’ll have to speak to the manager” “We’ll get back to you tomorrow” and waiting weeks for a reply then emailing again and being told the same thing on and on for months. And finally coming to a conclusion 3 months later after our baby was 2 months old. We only received a 30% refund. Due to some of the worst customer service I have ever witnessed, we will not be returning to this company ever.

Additionally we have replaced the blinds now with a different company and have 100% pitch black room for our baby.

review with one line asking the reviewer to call the company's customer service number, but I have done that numerous times with no progress at all.

I used Wynstan to install a flyscreen door and some blackout blinds back in February. Unbeknownst to me at that stage, Wynstan subcontracts out all its installation work. The installer cut out holes in my door frame when he installed the flyscreen, and because the whole frame is in one piece, it would cost thousands of dollars to replace. The flyscreen door handle was also installed right next to the glass sliding door handle so that they clash. Wynstan told me repeatedly that it's not their problem, and it's on me to deal with the installer's insurers.

The installer provided his insurance company with a very expensive quote from a glazier that has no online or no physical presence beyond a PO box address, and asked the insurance company to pay *him* out on the quoted amount. The insurance company also asked me to find quotes, and I gave them one that's cheaper. The insurance company found my quote reasonable, but before they were able to pay me, the installer lodged a complaint on grounds that *he* should be paid (note that he damaged my door frame but considers that he should be able to take the compensation money, with me left with a damaged frame, dysfunctional doors, and no compensation). The installer also called me and very aggressively told me that he should be paid the compensation since he should be the one deciding how to fix the damage.

The blinds were also installed very far away from the wall. Wynstan promised several weeks ago to send another installer to adjust the blinds, but there has been no follow up. I called and emailed several times, and finally got told by email today that "we do ask for patience as we are re allocating to a different technician." It has been 1.5 months, and it's not clear how much patience they are asking - months? Years?

If you do not want poor products, terrible service, or wasting your life follow up on damages to your property, then you know who NOT to use.

I paid a deposit for my blind end of September. I was told up to 6 weeks after and several phone calls and emails, which were never acknowledged, my blind was finally installed on 16 December, 11 weeks after deposit. I have seven blinds already around my house that have been put up over the years by Wynstan and all with the same colour green… Read more

pelmet which was very obvious to the person that was doing the measurements as she told me the same canvas pattern was unavailable which was OK but when the blind was installed the pelmet is a completely different colour green and again, after several unanswered emails, I was told by Rooty Hill staff, that it would cost me another $136 to have the colour changed over to the one that should’ve been ordered in the first place! Why would I have ordered a colour completely different to the other seven around the house?The staff at Rooty Hill showroom have been wonderful and have been the only ones trying to help me. Customer service from head office is non existant and they don't seem to care about customers at all. I just wish I had read some of these reviews before placing my order for this extra blind. Where is the care and the fact that they cant even acknowledge the emails I have sent to head office is disgraceful.

We engaged Wynstan to supply and install custom plantation shutters in a clearly specified a STANDARD Dulux colour for our high end house at Edgecliff. Been asked to pay deposit months in advance, experienced multiple delays, extremely passive in communicate with their client, and then the shutters delivered in the wrong colour. frame is 2 months as they clearly delegated their manufacturing to be done overseas - they themselves does nothing!

Wynstan staff say they cannot tell the colour difference in the photos attached (really??) and they have to send someone to assess the colour discrepancy — yet no one followed up.

Lack of accountability, responsiveness unprofessional!

Highly do not recommend Wynstan. They do not care about their service quality, no control of the product and service they provided.

== Updates: Wynstan's people took a long while to get to our site, confirming colour is wrong. This is despite us paying an extra “special colour’ fee! We were told that someone from the office would call to discuss the resolution, which is a complete lies.

We demand a full refund! And never trust these people!!!

We requested they change the motor on our other blind and provide a new remote to leave us with a blind configuration consistent with our initial purchase. Wynstans adamantly declined and advised that they were only prepared to carry out these essential rectifications for an additional charge of $400. Several discussions with Wystans Hornsby Office failed to break the impasse and we were eventually referred to their Head Office to discuss further with their Customer Service Manager in [Name Removed]. [Name Removed] was curt and condescending and gave the impression that little consideration went into the response to our request. As a last resort we emailed the the Managing Director and Operation Manager plus the Customer Service of our issue but consistent with their total lack of empathy we did not even blinds, shutters and curtains from Wynstans over awnings in the same area. We advised that it was unacceptable to have to control 2 blinds on the same window with 2 different remotes. and when it ran out of power he left us to finish cleaning up. I thought he would have had his own vacuum cleaner to clean up.

 Follow-up  · Yes, I was emailed a receipt. As originally stated, I was not happy that the installer did not have a vacuum cleaner to clean up. But he did borrow our vacuum cleaner. I don't remember if the installer wore a uniform.

I was initially advised that the awnings would take six weeks. It has now been three months, and I am still waiting. I’ve had to follow up several times for an estimated delivery and installation date, with the only explanation being that, you’ve been unusually busy.

 Follow-up  · Finally after 4 months my awnings are installed but unfortunately the installer has to come back and fix a mistake, which will now leave holes in the brickwork. I wonder how long I’ll be waiting this time? Do not recommend!

unfair and disappointing result. Our original quote was given September 2025 and a 50% deposit paid. We were told three weeks tops to install 2 roman blinds. There were delays and the blinds were installed in November. They were cumbersome and too heavy for the cheap plastic curtain pulley - one broke after one use. We then had to start the process of being fit into the installers timetable to get the faulty product back to the factory which took more time. There was no contact from Wynstan for 2 months while the blind was gone, despite me calling many times to see what was happening. This was over a very hot summer where there was no protection on our full room sliding door - the room couldn't be used it was so hot. Finally I was replied to mid January 2026 and a day set to reinstall a new blind. The fact that Wynstan took so long to replace the product meant the new blind was off a different curtain roll & is a different colour white to the original product purchased. Wynstan has sent me, via the phone, from department to different department, to store rep after different store rep to discuss this issue. The customer complaints officer was evasive and rude. I have taken even more time off work to have sales reps come to look at the issue. The staff that have come to see the issue have agreed with us that the two blinds that hang side by side are a different colour white, but still the customer service manager for Wynstan has done nothing about it. On my request, they were going to send the original sales rep who gave the quote to have a look and check it against his samples. They asked me for the original quote number and paperwork because they clearly didn't have it anymore. The sales rep posed as someone else who had given the original quote, and came with grubby samples a day early, at a different time than agreed upon - it was just "lucky" I was home. Then the showroom called to confirm the original appointment - they didn't have a clue someone had come out already on the wrong day, making a joke about being too efficient (really?) and cancelling the original appointment. This was the end of January 2026, 4 months after the blinds were meant to be installed. I have not heard a peep from anyone we dealt with at Wynstan's since, so we now live with two blinds that are different colours in the same room because I cannot keep taking time off work to continue being ignored. I would not use this product or service EVER as things will go wrong, and a life time warranty would need to be given because the quality of the products is so dodgy.

I was only contacted by Wynstan Blinds Customer Service because I wrote a review - nothing was going to change or has changed despite empty promises via email and phone. The doors are exceptional quality like no other both are very solid and strong, the installer Alek was very professional, did a brilliant job, explained the locking mechanisms for my doors. So I found this interesting, I got a quote from wynston for a crimsafe security door for just over $1500.00 less the 25% advertised which came to $1140.00. I got other quotes for the same crimsafe door and it was $1100.00 with out the discount. Made me think have they raise the price so they don’t lose out. If the security door was $1100.00 less… Read more

discovered that one of the blinds had the incorrect measurement sent off so it had to be taken back to be re-made. As nice as our installer was he arrived without any warning one morning to finish the install a week later, we were about to drive to the airport so asked them to call us throughout the week to reschedule. Instead, he called me a few days later and said he was 5 minutes away so asked if he could just come finish the job - luckily someone was home but again, had to scramble on our end without much of an apology or even a discount for the delay from Wynstan. Unfortunately won’t be purchasing from them again, will likely find a better rated/reviewed local business.
