problem, as 90% of customers have reported the same issue. Unfortunately, Yates doesn’t seem to be taking action to resolve this recurring problem.

realised is has to be double clicked on by pushing it further on with a bit more force. This completely fixed the problem of the hose leaking Hopefully this helps anybody reading this Yes, I recommend this product. .......... No leaks. Dispenses perfectly. Used twice as much as bottle says to use though – I must have hit the jackpot or doing something different to everybody else. I didn't have any leaking or dispensing issues. I will say though that I used twice as much product for the square metres indicated on the bottle. using 3/4 of a second bottle. Probably dosing too much. But I wasn't sure how much I should be watering.

Will have to wait and see whether or not it will kill the dandelion and other broadleaf weeds that have infested my kikuyu lawn. The verdict is still out.

Will update review in a week once herbicide kicks in.

It works, the applicator so so – Wait until a sunny afternoon and apply as per label, within a short time the weeds are dead. I dont like the applicator, its hit and miss if they work or not, so I usually keep a good one in the shed if the latest one does not meet my standards. Show details ·  1

Takes way to long – Over 2hrs of spraying and it still hadn’t finished/emptied. In the past I found it worked and emptied quickly….i now find it takes twice as long to get the job done and it concerns me that the content is being watered down too much which goes against the products guidelines of use….ill be looking for another option/brand. work very well…took around an hour and it worked as stated. Now, forget it….im moving onto another brand. Update …. I have since contacted Yates, spoke with them and have purchased another container and found it to be ok. Yates told me that the siphon tube can get an “air bubble” which can happen due transport. I still feel they should address this as it’s not a cheap product and we (as a consumer) shouldn’t be guessing weather it’s going to work as stated or not, it should…Just Work!

Hose system doesn’t work – Same negative experience as everyone else with the hose attachment not working - and simply telling people to call customer support is a cop out! Fix the darn problem, and stop sending AI generated responses to all these listed complaints! Show details

No chemical spray – Like a lot of other reviewers, I have the same problem of no chemicals being sprayed with the water. The container level stays the same but occasionally fills. Have used town pressure water and tank with pump. Very frustrating. Cheers Peter

Bad experience – The level in the container doesn’t go down when I attach my hose. This happens every other time when I buy one of these Hose On bottles. Maybe try making a better system?? Show details

Faulty. Don't buy it – Same as everyone else. Yates are knowingly selling a faulty product and I'll be reporting this to fair trading or whoever the appropriate overseer is. Get your act together Yates and recall this before your reputation is destroyed. Show details

Product doesn’t come out of the bottle – 30 min of spraying according to directions and no product has come out of the bottle. Seems as though this happens quite a lot. Wish I had read all the other reviews before I bought it. Will apply with watering can and never buy again. The fact you keep selling this has put me off the Yates brand. Show details

Don’t buy! – Same issue as everyone else with mixture not mixing with hose water. Applied only to find the bottle was still full. I tried the suggestion further down the page - removing air bubbles from pipe inside container by tilting bottle 45 degrees. Yates, don’t bother responding to my review with the standard response you’ve given to everyone else. I tried the helpline. I’m a busy person. I’m not waiting for who knows how long for someone to send me an email asking me to return product to the store I bought it from. You know this is an issue with your product. Fix it, take it off the shelf or, at the very least, have someone on the helpline who can give some tips on getting the product to work as it should.

Does NOT siphon – Looking at the number of reviews here, it is quite clear that the product NO LONGER siphons. It used to. I've bought recently and less than half getsvdrawn out, then nothing. YATES....please don't apologize for my unsatisfactory experience, and ask to me to contact your technical team for a solution. Tell me that you're recalling the latest lot, and a I can get. Leaks everywhere and on-line chat no effective help – Connected, correctly, just kept leaking everywhere and would not create the correct pressure to work effectively. Tried multiple connections. Unimpressed – Used 2.2L hose on for the first time. 75% disappeared in 2 minutes, then the container began refilling with water. Perhaps the first 10m2 will respond. I certainly cannot reccomended this product.

Haven’t used it yet as it won’t come out of bottle – I have tried 4 different brands of hose connecters and none will click on to the weed and feed bottle tightly so the solution doesn’t come out

Feed n weed hose on bottle not working – Bought a feed n weed 4l hose on from Bunnings. Followed the instructions to the letter. Used it for twenty minutes and absolutely none of the liquid got used up. Back to Bunnings for my money back. Show details
