Excellent shopping experience – I ordered a well known brand of perfume online. It's quite a new fragrance and relatively expensive. Your Discount Chemist had it for sale at a considerably lower price than other stores. Ordering was easy and delivery was well packed and fast. Very happy with the service and product.

SCAM!!! Your Discount Chemist takes your money but does not supply medication – I needed prescription medication which I was finding hard to get at my local chemist. been for a long time! They then told me, if I still wanted it, I had to supply a new 'special' prescription which stated 'to be compounded' (which meant going to the doctor paying $110 for consultation).

1. Your Discount Chemist immediately takes money from your credit card for medication they know they don't have and cannot get. 2. YDC advertises medications they knowingly do not have - (but still charge you for it) 3. YDC never lets you know they do not have the stock and wont be getting any 4. YDC makes you contact them before they do anything 5. you are forced to wait weeks for vital prescription medication, only to find they had no intention of ever providing it and they charged hefty prices for it. 6. MOST OF ALL - they do not refund you (unless you get in contact with them)

This is health care, and breaches Australian Pharmacy Guild and Health Care Standards and Laws.

Could not fault the service – Recently placed my first order with Your Discount Chemist, prices are competitive. Anyway, long story, but I needed to cancel the order a few hours later, all of my own doing. Could not have been easier, the lady I dealt with was helpful and polite, the credit came through in minutes. Could not have asked for more, will certainly use them again, if I get my act together.

Just simply awful – Rude and most staff are ilinformed which is frustrating because twice I've been given the wrong product and to surcharge me on items is ridiculas, talk to your bank and cover your own costs, won't ever be back to your franchise sorry..not sorry Show details

Do not buy from here! – I ordered x4 Victoria Secret Fragrance Mist on 14 January. I received my order with 2 incorrect bottles. I have contacted their number and it says “sorry we are unable to take your call. Please leave a message”. I have done this 3 times over the past week. Contact two of their stores and they only have the same number and did not know how to help. Left a message on Facebook - no reply. Emailed twice - no reply Extremely disappointed! Show details

Excellent online company – I am a first time buyer from this company, but it won't be the last time that I purchase from them. From start to finish they were great! Excellent communications from them, by keeping me up to date of where and when my parcel would be arriving and they had prompt posting, even arriving a day earlier than they had advised! Very happy with them and I highly recommend them to all online buyers.

Surprise additional surcharge on receipt – Just got home from the kurri kurri store and noticed an eftpos card fee on my receipt. I was not told about this or I would have paid with cash. I used a debit card, not a credit card. My place of work only charges a surcharge on credit card payment and we inform the customer prior to processing the payment. to accept or decline the surcharge. This seems like a dodgy practice to increase their bottom line. Don’t get me wrong, businesses are there to make money, Profit is not a dirty word. But when it comes off the back of their uninformed customers they lose integrity. Either build it into your prices or Inform your customers!!!! It’s not that hard to do the right thing

EFTPOS card fee – I don't spend where I pay these fees, so was surprised to see a charge on my docket. I didn't see any signs and was not informed of the fee. Show details

Eftpos Surcharge – Attended Taree store to purchase physio knee brace, and on paying was advised I would be paying an Eftpos surcharge. Minimal amount $$, but maybe YDC could look to negotiate a better bank service rather than charging more to their customers. I am assuming the mark-up on non pharmaceutical products from dog care, house products to make up should be enough to absorb a tax deductible bank charge Show details

Debit Card Charge – Was told today that I would be charged for using Debit Card via Eftpos....incredible! Would understand a minimum spend for use of Eftpos like small family run business however this is a very large store, only Chemist in Laurieton & Private Company so who knows who owns it. Definitely will be purchasing Scripts etc elsewhere even if it means a 1/2 drive.

Discount Chemist Surcharge – They are now charging a 33 cent Surcharge on all purchases. I will not pay surcharges, pay tax, GST, and cost of items, this is unacceptable. People use cash! They have lost a customer. I will send out information globally. Show details

Stick to other online chemists – I decided to try them as their prices weren't bad. But being chemist items you want them fairly quickly. It certainly wasn't worth the few dollar savings. 3days and the tracking shows it hasn't moved. Definitely stick to chemist Warehouse that shipped in less than 12hrs of ordering!

Great prices, fast delivery – I ordered some top-end fragrances/perfumes online and must admit I was quite nervous given how cheap their prices are in comparison with the big chain stores - I was expecting to receive a knock-off/fake. Perfect Experience – I have to admit I never write these reviews, but when looking for cologne I found their website and the prices were the best I could find. Waste of time – Don't bother wasting your time with ordering from this business as they cancel your order 6 days after the purchase saying the item is no longer in stock and you then have to wait up to 5 days for a refund. Don’t bother ordering online – Trying to avoid the Christmas rush wanted to purchase some perfume as a gift. Your Discount Chemist on eBay had it in stock so purchased on 22nd November. 3 days later get sent an email saying item is no longer in stock and I will receive a refund. Then on 7th December get sent an email with their catalogue specials. This showed the same perfume on sale again. Won’t bother trying to order from them again. Will purchase elsewhere in future.
