Buyers/sellers in Melton area beware!!! – I had lived in Melton for most of my life & bought & sold quite a few properties in the area. YPA Melton & the female agent we paid to sell our rental property was nothing short of horrendous! Their motto is "We will move you"...they will certainly do that...all the way to your solicitor's office! I had to seek legal advice & action during the… Read more

sale of the property, due to contractual breaches on the purchaser's behalf. The female agent was aware of these breaches & allowed it to occur. Just one of many examples of the female agent's misconduct was that she was allowing the purchaser & the extended family to complete the final inspection of my vacant rental property unattended by her! She orchistrated the inspection to take place when she knew I couldn't attend. This agent & her business cannot be trusted with your most valuable asset, and I urge you to steer clear of them. I'm unable to divulge other breaches of her conduct, as I'm still in the process of taking legal action. Make no mistake, if you think that because you're the seller & therefore they're working for you...it's absolutely not true! As soon as an offer is accepted...they're working for the purchaser and your rights are non existent! And we pay good money for that!

through VCAT. I had a complete melt down today after our latest issue with the tenants. Courtney kept her cool and talked me down and by the end of our conversation I am feeling a lot better than I was at the beginning.

How long Courtney has been with YPA I do not know BUT this girl is one in a million. She has explained in complete detail everything she has done and given advice on my property that I understand.

I have never been a landlord of a property and after such a bad experience will never do it again if I’m in the financial position again. The reason for this is because of such a bad experience with tenants and not my agent.

If you are looking for an agent that will look after not only your property but also you then this woman is the person you need to be dealing with.

Great Service – I would like to formally advise you that the current property manager, Courtney White, has been outstanding in the very short amount of time that she had taken over my investment property. Obviously this had me a little worried and made me expect the worst in this situation.

By having a property manager, it was expected that I could 'set & forget' about payments / issues and assume that everything was fine.

Once Courtney took over, she personally introduced herself to me and we spoke on the phone for a fair while whilst she explained to me what was happening in regards to the arrears and what she planned to do moving forward with this account.

To be honest, I was concerned about the surprising situation and was almost regretting using YPA as my agent of choice.

Long story short, she was absolutely fantastic in the way she treated me with respect and was totally transparent and honest with what was happening and what needed to be done moving forward.

At first I believed that we would have to put in process the plan to have them evicted but Courtney's magic wand / negotiation skills have produced fantastic results and the tenants have now paid up all arrears and are back in front with their rental payments.

I have never seen quick results like this in the 10 years that I have been renting out property via Real Estate agents. She is a real asset to your office and hopefully she can stick around and continue to manage my property for as long as I am the owner of it.

If there are any gold stars to give out to any of your crew, I suggest you start with Courtney because as mentioned above, she is a star and is straight to the point, does not mess around, and achieves great results.

I will now have no hesitation to recommend her and YPA to any other acquaintances that I have who are seeking to find an agent to manage their property/ properties.

Deception – Melton vic branch are totally useless they charge for advertising boards that were never installed and lie to you when they are caught out.Seller beware!
