We purchased two long single Zenna latex mattresses to create a king-size setup in January 2025, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. I phoned the company and the staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They offered excellent advice that made the selection process smooth and stress-free.

The mattresses themselves are exceptional—its firm but definitely not uncomfortable. The natural latex feels luxurious, and we've both noticed a significant improvement in our sleep quality since making the switch. Our Garmin watches can back that up as we are now in a deeper sleep for a longer period. Zero partner disturbance . I'm a shift worker my wife doesn't know when I get in out of bed and vice versa. Don't even notice her moving around when we are in the bed sleeping together. The mattress is a thousand percent cooler than the Maddison on summer nights. We live south of Sydney and we are both thinking that we will need flannelette sheets this winter as the bed has been cold on the last few nights It’s also great to know that we're sleeping on a product that’s both eco-friendly and durable.

Please take note the mattresses are surprisingly heavy to move or flipped over. My wife can manage to do this on her own, highly likely that she could not do it on her own if it was a king mattress. Glad they gave us the advice to purchase two long single it stead of as a king mattress.

We made enquiries over the phone, via email and dropped into the showroom at Crows Nest. All our questions (including of a technical nature) were answered thoroughly and the guys were not pushy at all.

Two main factors in determining Zenna as our choice:

1. The latex is a single thick block of latex rather than layers of thinner latex blocks. This way the latex is less likely to deteriorate over time. In fact I had seen some latex wear on another brand’s pillows in the past, and whilst the pillows should be replaced from time to time, the mattress really should last 15-20 years.

2. The Zenna latex mattress is made in Belgium and is subject to EU certifications and regulations whereas most of the other online sellers source their mattresses from a Sri Lankan manufacturer. I’m sure they are ok, but different standards and quality.

Two months on and we are extremely happy with the mattresses so far.

The mattresses are very comfortable to sleep on (we all like the firm option). Though the softer side isn’t bad at all either.

My son used to complain with his old mattress that he would get too hot and he would have a hard time getting to sleep. Since we got him the Zenna mattress, he’s slept much better as the mattress does not cause you to over heat.

Overall we are very pleased with our purchase and can enthusiastically recommend Zenna for your next latex mattress.

that extra softness for those who like to sink into the matress just a little, and still giving the support of the latex mattress underneath. I also love that the mattress has two sides, a firmer one and a softer one. When my daughter was younger, she preferred the firmer side. Now she is older, she sleeps on the softer side. This mattress is so heavy that we needed three people to put it away and it is so hard (I don't call it firm) that even after 4 years I could not sleep well on it. There is no give so, when you roll on the side or on your back, you actually need to lift your body. The latex is so thick that it is extremely hot in summer (extremely is an understatement) and gets even harder in winter in the cold weather. In summer, I have spent nights sweating to the point of wrapping a towel around me and in winter, I have spent nights feeling I have slept on a cold stone.

I seriously cannot understand the reviews I am reading about this mattress. I will never ever buy a foam or latex mattress again. It is dreadful. After years of bad sleeping, I bought an IKEA mattress and put the Zenna away. Like I said previously, we needed 3 people to carry the mattress to put it away. Please, do your homework. It might seem convenient to order a mattress online but it's not. Go in a shop, visit specialised stores and try out mattresses. Be aware that latex is a heavy and heat producing material so, really not the best for Australian weather. There is absolutely no bounce in a latex mattress which makes it very uncomfortable because, you cannot move well on top of it and your body cannot nestle into it. I like medium to firm mattresses that support me and give me enough softness as well so I can nestle for the night. That could never happen with the Zenna. It's like a rock made of rubber.

was very uncomfortable from day one and I tried everything. I bought a polyester pillow topper to try help, and it did a bit, but still this was ridiculously firm. I recently went mattress shopping in regular bed shops, tried out the firmest beds there and the zenna was far firmer than anything they had.

Zenna's 100 day trial is genuine, i recieved my money back with no hastles, but remember you'll lose $150 from the $1400 refund (price for the double).

The product is well made and there is no question that it is durable.

Update: when you give a review that is less than what the manufacturer wants, they will personally call you and hastle you about it. Might possibly explain the skewed rating.

Refund not easy to get – This company provides a 100 day return product refund. The mattress was not bad just did not suit us. But the public relations was less than satisfactory. importantly for my MCAS/allergy friends: a slight off-gassing for only a week (easily managed by airing it out in a spare room), and despite VOCs causing anaphylaxis for me, I had zero issues.

Good quality mattress – I have been sleeping on my new latex mattress from zenna for just over a month now, I can definitely confirm I sweat less than I did on my previous spring mattress. No longevity (but see update) – Did not work for me. After 3 years I have to get rid of it due to sagging to the point I get back pain. I have not had any other experience with latex mattresses to compare, but 3 years is not good enough longevity for any mattress. At this price I would expect better. year due to poor ventilation of the mattress. We had a few stains on the cover, but luckily we could remove the cover and give it a wash. We were soo lucky that we chose for natural latex, because the mold did not enter the mattress (mold does not grow on latex).
