Great service and love the dresses – Ordered here 3 times last year. All three dresses were beautiful fabrics, and good quality. One had a minor fault but although I purchased online the girls in the James St store helped me to exchange the item. Very happy with products + customer service. Their prices have increased over the last few years but I still love their items as splurge.

delivered, ready to return to them. I had the dress on for a minimum of two minutes max. I have now been told that the dress has a blue stain and a tear on the shoulder, I will not be receiving my refund they are wanting to send the dress back to me. This is absurd, I am so upset and there is no way I can prove this wasn't my doing. I was going to wait for my refund and purchase another garment from Zimmermann. I broke out in sweat when I received their email telling me of the damage. I was so careful not to leave the dress out and wrapped it back up instantly, ready t send back. I was so careful handling it. I am a 55 years old and my mother was a seamstress, I know how to care for clothes. I am guttered.

Unhappy with there returns policy – I purchased 2 shirts online same style although different sizes. I wanted to return the smaller one, I was a couple of days out for Returns and the staff were very difficult. I was unable to return the shirt. Show details
FW22 Aries Shirt Dress. Terrible quality. No refund or store credit provided – Sadly I am joining the list of Zimmerman customers that have purchased a poorly made product. (designer dress hire business) so totally trust the quality of their service. We also read through the care instructions together when I dropped it off. Long story short, Zimmerman has said the problem was with the dry cleaning and not the quality of the dress’s manufacturing. Reading the previous reviews on here I am now finding this hard to believe. The dry cleaners advised the issue seemed to be that the cotton used to attach the beading was not suitable / strong enough. Definitely interested to know if anyone else has had issues with this specific dress!
Do not order in Switzerland unless you are sure about the size, the returns do not include refund of the import tax – The sizes run very small. The return procedure is quite painful, you have to contact them to arrange for the pick-up, they promise to cover the full amount you directly paid them (including taxes - for Switzerland in my case). processed with the local authorities (it implies hand-written declaration letter, a full list of documents related to the import. This tax is not small - it can be up to 10-15% of the item value. I recommend you do not order from them if you are outside EU.
Unreliable customer service – Customer service is unreliable, hard to reach, product won’t ship for 5 days although it stated 1 day on their website, plus they charge 200usd for tax and duty for a 890usd dress. Poorly sewn, terrible quality, coming apart at the seems after one wash (on gentle cycle). Told it was my fault – Purchased singlet top online, washed on gentle cycle, after one wash and wear the top fell apart at the seems, holes through out the poorly sewn hemline. When I contacted Zimmerman they told me it was my fault for not hand washing the singlet. Never have I ever had to hand wash a singlet before. Terrible customer service, poorly made product. Quick dispatch and easy return – Ordered a dress and a top online. Order arrived in 3 days due to public holiday in WA-fantastic!! Unfortunately I didn’t like the material of the top and it was rather large for me, so the next day I went to Zimmermann Perth returned the top with no hassle. Within few days I received the refund. Excellent service Zimmermann, kudos!
