We have been taking our cars to Zupps Aspley for service for a long time. We had our cars serviced there when Zupps was a Holden dealership. Unfortunately, Zupps Aspley have well and truly dropped the ball. We now own two Hyundai cars. In 2025 our i30 was booked in for a service and the front bumper was destroyed while being serviced. replaced free of charge BUT it was inconvenient to have to return some days later to have the bumper fitted. This should not have happened. Forward to April 2026 and our Tuscon car was in for a service. When the car was collected there was a problem with the navigation system not working. The car was returned the next morning. It was suggested by staff it could be something to do the mobile phone. NO, the software for the navigation system had not been installed properly during the service! Zupps charge an 'exorbitant' price for a service which we suspect is carried out by apprentices because of the mistakes. The battery was replaced in the key and the charge was $18.18 for a $6.00 battery! We know of someone who got tired of the inferior service she received from Zupps Aspley. They now travel to Indooroopilly from the northside to have the car serviced after many bad experiences with Zupps Aspley. One star is too much for Zupps Aspley.
Got my car from the Zupps Aspley shop with the PPM customer care plan, costing over $1800 in Mar 23. within a year, I went to Zupps Mt Gravatt for general service, which is part of the plan that I bought. Fixed price $249. They found the hose split but no parts to repair. Most unprofessional is that they didn't check my brakes. A few days after… Read more
service, I was on the highway and merging lanes, the brake suddenly went hard to push down, which almost caused a collision on the highway. I noticed there was leaking underneath my car. I brought my car back to the shop, they said my brake was leaking, they had no parts to fix it, and I had to wait over a month. I asked why they didn't find this when I did my first service, they said the problem was not there when they inspected it, but they couldn't provide my service checklist. The service person Mr. Micheal is very rude in language *F...* over the call with me. As the plan is for three years, as I had to go back again this Mar 25, and 1. they didn't use the credit left in my plan and forced me to pay to get my car. 2. They charged me over $300 when fixed price is $249 in the agreement. 3. I emailed them to request a refund and explain why service items are less than the list in the agreement and terminated the plan on 20th Mar within 2 years after commencement (eligible for a 50% refund of payment). They keep pushing me back to different people, from E to A to M to W. Now I insist they email me their response. The last and the only email on 30th Mar said the manager will call me shortly. God knows when they will be back to me with answers.

(@ $195/ hr), to find and rectify the problem. I since heard that later model cars only have 1 of reverse light. Trying to get an answer as to whether my Subaru Forester only has 1 reverse light is a nightmare! I have tried to call multiple times ,waiting 10 + mins with noone answering? Reception has also emailed this department asking for them to contact me and leave a message if miss the call to no avail?? It looks like the only way to get an answer is to physically present myself to this department??
Follow-up · There has been no acknowledgement or follow up from Zupps Mt Gravatt after this review. After searching online and reading the Forester manual it became apparent that the Forester Touring has only 1 reverse light. The other rear light is a fog one. Based on this information I did not goto Zupps Mt Gravatt for the incorrectly advised needed diagnostics to be done. What a complete waste of my time that would have been!

I reported warranty damage to my canopy in May 2025 (Zupps Mitsubishi Aspley) and it took over four months of chasing emails, delays, and mistakes before anything was done. They even ordered the wrong part, and when my vehicle was finally returned, I discovered toll charges from when it was in their care. Communication has been consistently poor.… Read more
For my last three services, I was left waiting every time, despite being told they’d call when the vehicle was ready — I always had to follow up myself.
After all this, they offered to reimburse or credit the tolls toward my next service, charges I should never have received but honestly, after this experience, there won’t be a next service with Zupps Aspley.
The loaner vehicle, get a cleaner!!!!
An addendum. I contacted Zupps 14th Oct and provided my banking details so I could receive the reimbursement of tolls. I had to follow this up on the 9th Nov as I hadn't received the funds. Their excuse, "Apologies, I believe this might be on me as I haven't filled the refund form correctly. We are missing name of your financial institution"
A simple google search on the BSB gives a result, not hard! I ask for everything in writing, they always call, I just don't get it.
Worst experience – I had my service at Zupps Aspley Jan 2024 and they have mistaken my model and odometer with someone else and gave me a 90000Km Swift service for my 2022 Baleno (20000Km). They claimed the service would be the same and would not re-service my car. They also stamped all over my logbook from 30K to 90K, which I should receive my second stamp only. I… Read more

Zupps Subaru Mt Gravatt - they did not notice a rats’ nest in the engine – Charged for a service that I seriously doubt was done. Took car in on 7 June and at the time of payment was told there was an oil leak and to fix it would take around 18 hours and cost $3600. Said I would seek a second quote because it was so expensive. Immediately the vehicle to another mechanical shop. He and and a second mechanic lifted the… Read more
bonnet and queried when the car had been serviced. I repeated it had just been done. They pointed out all the straw throughout the motor. How can a mechanic in a Subaru dealer workshop not notice a huge rodents’ nest in the engine of the car they are allegedly servicing? It was too late to return to Zupps Subaru Mt Gravatt and so I telephoned and spoke with a female employee. I asked for the name and email address of the service manager because I wanted to make a complaint and send photographs to back up my complaint. I was told this was private Information and I could not have this. I asked again, and was denied, so I said I would contact Subaru itself in NSW. The woman asked me if she could help me. I said no and she hung up in my ear. I contacted Subaru Customer Service immediately and told them what had happened. Ostensibly they were horrified and asked me to confirm everything in an email, with photos. I did this. Two weeks later I received a telephone call from them, asking if they could pass my email on to the service manager of Zupps Subaru Mt Gravatt, and I agreed that they could. I have heard nothing further. I am about to commence making a complaint to the private company that owns Zupps Subaru Mt Gravatt and if this goes unanswered, there is always A Current Affair. I am beyond disgusted with Zupps Subaru Mt Gravatt and Subaru Australia. I currently own 2 Subarus, and have owned 4 in total over the past 17 years. No more. Treat this company with extreme caution because they don’t give a rats’ (nest) about their customers or their integrity.

mechanic later confirmed that this spare requires a specific spacer to be used correctly — a part that was never provided or explained at the time of purchase.
This created a serious safety concern. If this had occurred on a highway or in a remote area, it could have been dangerous. I contacted the dealership and Hyundai multiple times and provided photos and documentation, however I did not receive a clear explanation or resolution.
As this issue relates to a basic vehicle safety component, I expected clearer communication and accountability. I hope this feedback helps other customers avoid a similar situation.

Whilst waiting they sent a text stating that they recommend a wheel alignment as my tyres were wearing unevenly, which I gave them the go ahead for thinking at the time that they were doing my service. Alas no. They did nothing in that 5 hours. But I’m sure something was done because of the maccas rubbish left in the car. I told them not to do the wheel alignment and left with nothing done. I have Since been to a reputable mechanic in Bundaberg who had no problem sourcing an oil filter and put my mini over a machine that tells you if you need a wheel alignment. Did I need one? NO. about services going forward and double checking with another staff member around what I was being told like I asked as she sounded uncertain ,the dreadful woman I spoke to told me not to tell her how to do her job, said she knew more than me as she worked there and then ended the call as I wasn’t being friendly enough for her after she berated me for asking to speak to someone else. Incredibly rude and patronising. You would think they were offering services for free the way she spoke to me. Unfortunately wasn’t my first bad experience with the customer service staff at this place. Luckily another staff member called me back to follow up a message I left there the day before. Gave me the proper advice which of course contradicted her rude colleague. Very disappointing seeing as I have spent $44000 at this place to buy the car and at least $500 every time I’m there at least two to three times over the last three years
Like other who have written reviews of the Zupps Aspley Hyundai service department I would give Zero stars if possible. greedy service departments before I knocked them back on both items, and just as well. Took my car to a mechanic near work who has the same tools as Hyundai service department and what do you know, no puncture and the battery was fine. My opinion is that these guys are typical of dealership service departments everywhere. I'm certain the mechanics are on bonuses for getting extra work, required or not and these guys are no exception. My advice is to always get a second opinion of work any mechanic needs to be done, when that is possible, especially from a dealer. I only go to a dealer to get the free 12 months roadside assist. They also forgot to stamp my log book.

Is it possible to give Zupps Mt Gravatt a 1/2 Star review. Easily the worst after-market service I've ever experienced, and I've had mulitple cars in my 30+ years of owning cars. I will never buy a car from them again and I'd encourage everyone to avoid them at all costs!! They aren't they only car dealer in Australia, the consumer has plenty of choice. Show details
Don't go to them – I would give them a 0 if that was an option. she was coaxed into getting the air filters and brake pads changed charging her almost an extra $1000 for things not required.
Since that service, the car has been emitting foul smell when the aircon is started with the car not cooling down even at full blast. After months of phone calls for a review, finally they had a look and now want us to spend another $5200 to get the aircon fixed.
There is no acknowledgement of the fact that the coolant started leaking when the air filter was changed and some damage was done to evaporator core and valve. They believe people are fools and would not call them out for being dishonest and just all round poor with their customers taken for a ride.

In their messages they send out it clearly states "If you have any queries then please reply to this SMS". I replied once 25/10 for a follow-up on my car... No answer, but I get a voicemail later saying the total cost will be $870............. I might just be a girl but that seems ridiculous. I then sent 5 more messages 29/10 asking to get some sort of invoice/quote sent to me before any work is done to my car...Receive nothing of course.
I then called on 29/10 asking if they've done work to my car they told me they haven't however parts have arrived, I advised them to NOT do any work to my car as I can get it done at a more affordable price. I also have in writing on Tuesday 29/10 sent at 4:50pm I also elaborated to please hold on any work being done to my car as I wish to get a quote of the problems and costs sent to me. The response I get after both verbally and in written form repeating I DONT WANT THEM TO WORK ON MY CAR, I get a Voicemail from Craig 30/10 at 2:44pm stating the car has already been fixed (conveniently 24hrs after me stating not to do so!!!!!???) along with a text stating my vehicle is ready for collection with the now price of $630 (still more than I was quoted elsewhere). I paid it, took my keys and let them know they took advantage of me.
Anytime I spoke with [Name Removed] on the phone I felt I was being spoken too like I was stupid and he was so disrespectful until my grandmother who has part ownership of my car took over the phone call his attitude changed right away because he's not talking to a silly little girl anymore. It is now 10/2 - 3 months later and I'm having to replace my spark plugs again due to same issues however this time I've been quoted $219.84 for full sparkplug replacement via a mobile mechanic. (I recommend)
Just an extra note: upon purchasing my car I didn't get to test drive it, I didn't get shown under the bonnet, they pushed for me to get a car loan after I stated plenty of times I wish to pay it outright, it was a rushed sale because it was the end of their work day and were keen to get my commissions. They took major advantage of me and wouldn't be surprised if I'm not the first. I have plenty of supporting documents to back this up :).
Would NEVER go back! Save your money!!! I've purchased off marketplace with better experience. At the end of the day THEY DONT CARE FOR YOU, THEY CARE FOR YOUR MONEY. I said what I said.

Zupps Aspley needs to look at its process because if you can't diagnose and fix an air-conditioning issue in two and half years you need to look at hiring some qualified staff.

They referred me to Suzuki Nundah and they called me the following day, booked the car in straight away and arranged for the vehicle to be assessed. As expected, they were able to replace the broken part which was then calibrated along with some other minor issues which I had all but given up getting fixed with Zupps. Suzuki Customer Care team and Suzuki Nundah are great and I will definitely be dealing with them in the future.
