I have a cavoodle puppy well she will be year old next month. We haven’t left her at home much only once for about half an hour. She’s like a well-being dog to me. I hav3 chronic pain and memory loss and we are going out for mother day and coco can’t come . So I really want to know if this is really going to work. I can’t afford to buy it if it’s not going to help,a little bit. Thank you for any help please.

Please help! Has anyone used this to calm a kittens play aggression towards my older cat? It’s been 7 months we have had him (he is 10 months old 3 legged desexed boy), we have tried everything, they were slowly introduced and no matter what we do, distract him, play with him etc trust me, we have tried everything and every method a vet has suggested or that you can find on Google and nothing stops him. He sees her and just can not control himself so we are still living in a seperated household and only one of them can be out at a time. Yes I know this probably does not help, but he is relentless and will not stop, so they have to be separated. I have tried feliway and that has not helped. The vet has suggested medication, but I don’t actually want to change his personality, I just need him to calm down his behaviour towards her.

All i can say is you can try it. Even when it seems to work we cant be sure it was one thing or another. Cats are great communicators but we struggle to understand them sometimes. Give it a go. Its $40, right? I tried it because I would try anything to help my girl. Just double check its safe for young kittens first.

If you haven't heard of it there is also hemp oil but be careful some mixtures will be too strong for a kitten.

Lastly, i have one suggestion you may not have thought of yet (sorry if you have i know how frustrating that is). I havent thought it through, but what if you set up experiments to see if its got more to do with the smell of your adult cat vs the sight? Maybe there is some trigger you haven't found? Good luck!

Edit: by the way i tried both antidepressants and gabapentin for my 9yr Bengal when she wouldn't stop spraying. They both worked. The antidepressants chnaged her personality only slightly but it was for the better because the alternative was lots of stress for both of us. The gabapentin made her slightly wobbly and really spacey so i halved then quarterd the dose the vet gave me and it worked without side effects. However, you cant continue gabapentin for long term.

Thank you so much for your reply, much appreciated. I will definitely give it a go. Getting rid of him isn’t an option so I will try anything to make this family dynamic work ☺️
