number is disconnected and now totally removed from their website and I have sent two emails and one message through their contact portal with absolutely no reply! They clearly have no intention of replacing and their 15yr Warranty on their product is obviously false. Unless you are maybe purchasing this for your spare room that only gets used intermittently, I'm sorry to say don't waste your money.

I couldn't find exactly what I was looking for in the market, so I purchased the ZZZ Assured Ultra Firm as the foundation of my 'build your own bed'. ZZZ was at the right price point to warrant a try. I highly recommend designing your own bed -- especially with ZZZ as your base layer. Toppers will wear out faster than your mattress springs, and they're cheaper to switch out than your entire bed. You can also swap out toppers depending on the season.

On top of my ZZZ, I've purchased a foam/latex mattress topper (as other have commented, the built-in latex top is a bit thin -- you can feel the individual springs as you roll) and a fluffy mattress topper for the winter. I got the Ovela and Microcloud brand toppers respectively.

Sleeping is now a dream -- my Fitbit says that my sleep score is now 7pts higher on average since this new setup.

On top of all of that, I want to say that the Customer Service was excellent. I didn't receive an initial tracking number for my order and because of the back-and-forth, the team there felt so bad that one of the employees ended up chucking my mattress into the back of their car and hauling it directly to me (I live in Sydney CBD). Super responsive over email (less than 12hrs) and friendly.

I hope to report back in a few months on how well the edge springs have stood up over time.

last. The Harvey Norman one was the worst, as it rapidly developed a sag in the middle, to the detriment of my health. I had to occasionally sleep on the sofa. The reviews on this site and their informative website convinced me to try Zzz Atelier. The delivery process was not smooth, unfortunately, due to a dodgy delivery company, but the mattress company went above and beyond to make sure that I received my mattress in good time. Their ethos is to genuinely assist and please the customer, which is rare these days. Now that I have slept on the new mattress several times, I can attest that it is utterly remarkable. Incredibly firm and sturdy, a quality product. I enjoy going to sleep now. Please forgive my daggy joke, but this mattress is literally ‘a dream’ to sleep on. If you require a very firm mattress, this model is the one for you!

Just be warned the mattress is heavier than I expected. Upon opening the plastic the mattress positively jumped open. I left it for several days to expand and air before using it. It does have an odour, but this dissipated within 2 days.

So far I am delighted with the firmness of the mattress, and haven't been woken by pain in my back, neck or legs. That is an excellent sign.

The company that I ordered the base from could learn many lessons regarding excellent service, and quality of product that ZZZ Antelier supply.

No hesitation thus far in recommending the ZZZ Antelier Outlet via Ebay. Amazingly good.

Reasonable for the price – Mattress was not very comfortable until we added a memory foam topper - now it is good. It is hard to handle (no handles for lifting to change sheets etc.) It was cheap so I think it is well worth what we paid for it. Show details

very happy with it. The mattress is firm enough to support my back, but not firm as a floor which would hurt me. For this price I think it worth every value and will be happy to recommend this to anybody who are after a firm mattress.

- height is only 20cm even after 12 hours decompression, lost 3cm due to compression??

- side and base wall's material are very thin compare to our previous mattress that I felt I might tear it when trying to lift/move the mattress

- edge support while it's good but I can feel the inner pocket spring

- Dimension is tad smaller than advertised. It lave gaps on the frame for reason the black edge stitching protrude out and that's how it was measured and not the walls to walls true measurement

Hope this will help other buyers but for the price we are happy, just have to see how long it last.

It does the job as a spare bed in the guest room. I will have no issues with the in-laws (with bad backs) staying over. You will be able to tell the difference though if you compare it against a $2,000 extra firm mattress, which is what we use day to day, but as a spare bed for the guest room I think its great value. I can't feel the springs when sleeping on it, however, if you were to push your hand down in certain areas you can. This may mean that the padding might be a little thin on top, or perhaps it just needs time to be broken in.

Overall very happy (and surprised) at the quality of the bed at this price.

use my tufted lambswool mattress cover as a "topper". It's 12 yrs old so it's pretty thin and probably unnecessary. I can't handle sag, so it was a great relief to feel it's evenly distributed support. I was hoping the firmness would encourage me to sleep on my back more often, but it is still comfortable enough for side sleeping. As it has 630 pocket springs (triple-tempered, 2.3 mm thick), I expect it's structure to last much longer than my Bonnell-sprung, only 2+half year old, almost twice the price, store-bought mattress. Another important consideration for me was mattress weight and as the Extra Firm double mattress weighs only 25 kg, I was able to move it and set it on it's base by myself, while being aware of the possible fragility of the breathable cotton fabric around the sides. They did recommend unrolling it on it's intended base to let it expand, then wait 24 hrs before sleeping on. Also, no strong off-gassing smells. I write this after my 6th night of rest. Hope this helps. (I live in regional NSW and paid a very reasonable extra $33 for delivery.)

UPDATE 4/3/18 : 93 nights later I bought a 2" thick memory foam topper. My 61 year old body started to need some "give". No regrets as cheaper to replace topper than whole mattress and the mattress weight remains manageable.

The best mattress I have ordered online – I ordered a queen sized firm mattress on Thursday night at around 11pm and the mattress was delivered Friday evening!! (Is this real!!?!!! WOW!) Well I am not disappointed at all for my penny spend. I ordered it from eBay and in very good price. The next day the delivery was made at my home. I must say this mattress is exactly what I have imagined. It's Super firm.

Ready to use after 24 hours of un-packing. Till date, there is no complaint from my parents and I have decided to purchase 1 more for me.
