Ok at first. The Left middle side developed a big uncomfortable sinkhole . Sagged so bad i placed 2 memory foam pillows underneath my body just to get a good night sleep . I have big regrets buying it . Placed on my nature stip for hard rubbish . Show details

Love these matresses. Reasonably priced and worth it! – Love these matresses. We have purchased 6 of them now and have been using then for last 5 years with no issues at all. Very comfy, cant go wrong. Everyone has very different expectations for matresses. Ive spent up to $5000 in the past for a mattress and found this one for a few hundred dollars just as good. Great value for money – As opposed to other reviews, I find this mattress to be on the softer side which is great for my bad back. Compared to a Koala 2022 mattress this one is a bit softer and memory foam provides a bit less support. However, I'm very happy with this purchase for this money. Would've bought one more for another bedroom. Show details
Love the ease of transport – Comes flat packed and rolled in a box, so you can easily load it into your car. Unwrap it at home, and it expands into a normal mattress including inner springs. If you like a hard bed it is perfect. Can’t beat the price and ease of transport. No complaints from me. Show details
Wake up with a sore back every morning – We have the Euro Top Mattress king and have persevered since October (got rid of old mattress, haven’t got another to sleep on) we now have a camping self inflating mattress over the top to help. The ripples in the mattress pattern on top aren’t described in the catalogue, it’s too late after you have opened it. I’m waiting on a response from Aldi… Read more
as to a refund. Don’t know what else to do, it’s costing us in chiropractic visits. Really disappointed as I read all the reviews, not sure if they were the euro tops though?
Mattress warped – I bought this product just over 13 months ago and went to pick it up to move house and the mattress is on a slant and up on the one side. It was very dissapointing. Show details

Brilliant. I put up with an expensive "Chiropractic" mattress for many years with the resultant lower back pains and many chiropractic visits (ironical isnt it!) . In desperation I had nothing to lose and bought an Estelle Queen size. Immediate relief and the Estelle became a very loved mattress. I did put it on the old ensemble base. I found the… Read more
mattress to be just perfect in terms of firmness and supported me well. I am 86kg. My only 2 criticisms. 1. You can rotate it but not flip it. 2. Side support is lacking so if you sit on the side it is likely you slide off onto the floor in an undignified heap. Apart from that we loved it. After 7 years we thought it was time to buy a "better quality" mattress and bought a $1800 inner spring with memory foam and support zones and a whole heap of printed superlatives. It is good but immediately I compared to the Estelle and honestly, the Estelle is as good and it is today 11/04/2025 advertised at Aldi at $239 which is $6 less than I paid 7 years ago!!! (I did want to buy another Estelle. I even wanted to keep the old one as it was in very good condition. But I was persuaded to change. Apparently at my age I need to sleep on something better. !) Buy it, try it. They are great. I would provide evidence of purchase but after 7 years ...no receipt and....as soon as I got the new mattress the other one went to the dump and that cost $96!
Temporary Solution for $199 – This was my second Aldi mattress in a box which I lugged up the street to my apartment (clearly on a tight budget therefore indulged in an "exercise of weight lifting & resistance training"). I tolerated the Aldi mattress for 2 years - of course its referenced to a budget and that is evident when you note it has no side… Read more
reinforcement (sitting on the side of the bed the side bulges). That was not its key failure - it started to sag in the middle and did not provide back support. Even with a memory foam mattress topper it did not improve. This mattress experienced one single sleeper of a light frame, 49 kilos. The quality of the components is evident - it is not designed for longevity. I researched and test drove mattresses in IKEA (don't turn your nose up at IKEA) be certain that mattress construction will accommodate your particular frame - a softer bed is no good for a large heavy frame and will compress. A firm mattress will soften over time, just like a pair of shoes the leather will be firm until you break them in - same with the mattress. So, sadly you get what you pay for - look at the construction of the mattress and expect no more than 5-7 years of durability. As a couple if you are different frame sizes it is worth considering separate beds because on a budget there is no one-size fits all. For a mattress designed with the variable feature incorporated be prepared to pay the price.
Great product – I bought 3 different sized Estelle mattresses for my family Queen, single and king single All very thick medium firmness mattresses with a thick pillow top all great and all enjoyed by their new owners Honestly these are really comfortable mattresses at a brilliant price HOWEVER My only real gripes are the weight of the mattresses (approx 40kg for… Read more
a queen), This means making the bed is quite a hefty chore and they're about 10-15 cm too short for Australian standard bed frames across all sizes(Q,KS,S) This is where the mattresses create neck and back problems, because the mattress ends up sliding down the frame then your pillow drops down the gap and you wake up with a crook neck. I would give these mattresses 5 stars any day of the week IF they weren't so short I feel as though these were made using UK bed sizes which differ to Aus sizes which means there really is quite a significant gap. So if you can wedge your mattress in place or you have a smaller bed frame, this mattress really does tick all the boxes in terms of price and comfort and so far there's been no sagging I have owned an aldi brand mattress in the box before these ones and they were a longer fit and they were a bit droopy due to the non spring inner materials, but not saggy from use,it lasted quite a while before it needed replacing (was due to hygiene not manufacturing issues) Yes the prices have gone up quite significantly over the last 5-10years,however they're still good value comparitively speaking

the best mattress, yes it is firm and I am using a mattress topper as my old mattress was softer and had a dip in the middle, but now I just love it, my sleep duration has improved and I don't wake up with asore back/hips. I wish I could buy one for my other bed. Hopefully Aldi will sell them again soon. Show details
One of the best mattresses I bought. Better than some very expensive ones I bought in the past. People whining is the human complaining factor. Nothing wrong with mattress. Had it for over a year now with no issues
Worst mattress ever. So very hard, have put two mattress toppers on but still not soften this rock of a mattress. We wake up with back ache every day. Only had for four weeks and wish I had never bought. Don't waste your hard earned cash. Show details

Incorrect measurements, sleeps warm, no edge strength – Review after more than a year's use. Firstly, the sizing is wrong. Both the single and king single are short... a good 8-10cm short. Meaning that either the kid's pillow falls down through the gap between mattress and bed head, or their toys do at the foot. Then there's the sidewall, or lack thereof. While they're small, it's not that much of an… Read more
issue. But as they get bigger, they'll start rolling off the sides. And as for sitting on the edge, as a parent, I'm almost touching the frame. Comfort wise seems to be ok. Only issue here may be that it sleeps quite warm. Again, ok for a small kid with not much meat on their bones yet, and in the often cooler southern states like Vic. Overall, not overly impressed, and wish we'd taken them back when noticing the size. Only good point was buying then on special at the time.

Awesome value – Our bed at home is a Sealy posturepeedic that cost $3000.00. This Aldi mattress is more comfortable for less than 10% of the cost. It is awesome value. Show details
This is perfect for my arthritic joints – For a firm mattress you still sink into the beautiful softness of the pillow top. I haven’t woken with hip pain since purchasing this mattress. You can’t flip it as it is one sided. Only downfall. I’d still recommend any day. Best damn purchase in 12 months Show details
Absolutely and simply great – I bought Aldi mattress in queen size over 5 years ago and still look amazing. No sagging, no dent, it keep its bounce and we love it. Show details
Terrible! Hard as a rock – Very disappointed. I thought I would save money, but ended up spending more as I had to purchase another mattress and give this one away. The mattress is extremely hard, my child felt out of bed every night as there is zero edge support, and on top of that the chemical smell is very strong. Do t waste your money! Show details
Great nights sleep since purchase. Great all over body support. No back aches. Firm mattress, you can't beat that price! – I read other reviews that mentioned sagging on the edges and one side, I have not noticed any issues. We have a slat bed and added some more slats for extra underneath support and are weary to also protect the edges. Show details
Ok, if you're on a tight budget – I guess it is hard to rate a mattress as it all comes down to personal preference. The price was great and we were looking for a budget friendly option. We used it for 3 years and couldnt wait to upgrade to something better. Did I get a good nights sleep on this mattress - no. Did I have to spend extra to purchase a mattress topper to make it bearable - yes. Would I recommend.. only if you dont have the money to buy a decent mattress. Show details
Too cheap to be this good! – Extremely comfortable! I suffer from neck and back issues after a car crash and we needed a new mattress desperately so decided to take a chance on the Aldi one as I read some good reviews on Facebook. I'm definitely sleeping longer at night with no pain. You don't over heat like other memory foam mattress'. Weve had it now for about 2 months and… Read more
it's still like new. The only down side to it is it seems to be smaller than our last queen so there are small gaps around the frame of the bed. Other then that, it's fantastic. I'll definitely be running out the next time they go on sale to fit the rest of the house

Great mattresses! – We love these mattresses! We had purchased a single for our child a year before and were very impressed. Such great value for money! So comfortable and great support. We find it more comfortable than our $2000 mattress. Show details
Mattress smell – Bought a queen mattress from aldi. Bed seems comfortable, but the smell coming from it is horrendous. We have had to revert back to old mattress. Slept on for 2 nights, seemed comfortable, pity about the smell Show details
Dont do it, we bought one last time they were on special and i just noticed they are back in the latest catalog – Have a read thru all the negative comments, every single one of them mention one or more of the SAME problems that ours had. When we left our last apartment, we cut it apart and jammed the horrible thing in a dumpster. I should of taken it back to aldi and demanded a refund, but you know what aldis customer service is like. Buyer beware, they… Read more
start off nice but after some time, longer for some but you will, without a doubt experience some sort of problem. Buy something better, the main problem with these is that the springs and stuff inside have to be able to crush to fit in the box, so it makes sense as to why they wear out so quick.
Awful. 16 months after purchase it destroyed my back – At first, we thought it was brilliant. As time went on, it became very average, very quickly. Just after the 12 month (warranty) period, it developed a terrible sag, even after 3 monthly rotations. Myself and my partner weigh a combined 150kg, so hardly an excessive amount of weight being placed on the mattress. Between the 12 month and 16 month… Read more
mark, I developed lower back issues, bursitis of the hip, scoliosis pains, and piriformis syndrome, all attributed to this mattress. After 1 night on a new QUALITY mattress my pain has eased significantly. Really should have learnt my lesson by now that Aldi products are cheap for a reason. It's not a "special buy" at all. It's a poor way to spend money, repeatedly on trash products that will end up as landfill far sooner than they should.
Worst mattress ever – At first I thought this mattress was great. On reflection I think it must have been the excitement of a king size bed. The mattress is too spongy and sinks when you sit down on it. The mattress also developed a large dip on my side of the bed, so much so I am convinced some of the springs are faulty. We rotated the mattress so that I wasn’t sleeping in a gully but overall I guess in this instance you get what you pay for. Show details
Disappointed by the mattress – I purchased the ALDI Estelle queen size mattress after reading many positive reviews and having slept as a guest for a night on one. However, I'm quite disappointed by the product I brought home. The quality seems to be average. The top layer seems very flat. At first I thought it hadn't inflated fully, but no, it's just that flat. I can… Read more
sometimes feel/hear the springs. And I can definitely feel or hear the springs when I sit down on the edge of my bed, the spot just sinks. I'm not sure if they have changed designs/manufacturers because there seems to be two different designs in the stock photos. Did I get a dud, or maybe were my expectations too high? When I slept on one for a night as a guest a couple of years ago I thought it felt very comfortable and much better quality than you might expect for the price, which is why I kept it in mind for my next mattress purchase. The price is still very cheap by any standard, but temper your expectations as the value for your money may not be as high as you anticipate. I'd only recommend it if you are looking to buy an alright mattress without forking out, but would not recommend it if you think you are going to get an amazing mattress for next to nothing, i.e. don't go to the shops and buy an average $400-600 mattress because this ALDI one at half the price will be just as good if not better. On the other hand, I've slept on a very good quality and comfortable mattress (prob retails around $1500-2000) and this ALDI one just cannot compare. I don't have experience sleeping on other mattress-in-a-box products so cannot comment.
I love this mattress! So comfortable and just the right amount of support! You would never know it came out of a box! – Fabulous, comfortable ! One year later it is just as good! No change in comfort . You wouldn’t believe it came out of a box! Our last mattress costing more than $3000 was very similar Show details
Very unhappy – I left my mattress for 2days after taking out of box before I used it like it says to do with in one week of having great sleep now it feels sagging & flat like it had hole in it as soon as I lay in it Show details
