request for service has been ignored. Follow-up emails have also gone unanswered, which is extremely frustrating given the investment involved. I expected far better after-sales support and accountability. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hello Solar.

Hence requested refund. Phone line continuously being disconnected. Feel like being scam. The sales manager who I being dealing with ask me to ring my bank to request a refund. How worng is that. Not recommended if you are looking for solar or battery.

All positive reviews are from 2 or more years ago. All negative reviews are from recent years. This company used to be great. They are now awful and should be avoided at all costs.

the payment low, or use it for whatever else we might want to. We had planned to apply it to the loan. Today I discovered it is not a rebate but a tax credit. If we don't owe any federal taxes, we don't get it. If we only have, say, $5000 in taxes, that would be covered but no refund. The no refund is fine, but not being able to apply the money to the loan means our payment will go up. I don't think this is ethical.

system is still under warranty.Its now more than 3 weeks no response, I have emailed more than 10 times ,no response. Whenever I tried to ring the call gets disconnected, only couple of times someone answer the call and false promises to get a call back. Very bad experience and not sure if these guys are still in the market or ran away. I will contact Consumer Affairs now to get this sorted as my solar system is under warranty and they need to honour the warranty if they still exist

Salesperson VERY persistent and almost to the point of harassment. We had just gone into business and my husband got told we wouldn't have to pay anything as it would pay for itself! $20K. And no the solar doesn't pay for itself. We are now having to move our business and the sales manager I have communicated with has stopped responding and also told me they lost all their contract information when they swapped computer systems over a year ago. From researching I believe this to be unlawful! Looks like I'm off the the ACCC. Not happy...we just want them to move it to the new location as we were told they would!

Non compliant install – Solar installed 2 years and worked ok. Occasional circuit breaker trip. Now it trips multiple times each day. Asked another electrician to sort it out but he says it was not compliant. Installing electrician needs to return to fix. Been waiting over month ( xmas) but no one from hello solar responding. Poor customer support

Worst and terrible customer service experience – They are very quick to sign you up and take your deposit fast as flash. However, if something didn't push through and need to get your refund their customer service or the person calling you when you sign up cannot be reached. So BEWARE this company and it will waste your time. And got bad experienced on them.

which was going to cost us an extra $1,000 to have the panels installed, we were not prepared to pay for the extra $1,000 as it did not fit in with our budget, the biggest disappointment part was that they had the photo of the roof and they were already aware of what was already placed on the roof and we then advised that the antenna and flute was in the way and that it had to be moved on our expense. We then had to call the antenna guy to install it back onto the roof then we were told that we needed two separate inverters, the extras just kept going. After all that we were told that we didn't need 1 panel as it was not needed and still they would not refund us on that extra panel that they were not going to use. We then called [Name Removed] that was sales rep in regards to all these extras, they tried to meet us half way with the extras, but not help us with moving the antenna and putting it on other spot of the roof. We still were not prepared to pay all the installation of the antenna. [Name Removed] advised that we will receive our refund for the $100 deposit, this is now 2 months, he is not answering my calls or messages. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE LIARS : poor customer service, not helpful and will not recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

Disorganised and a total waste of time – Don’t bother. Very quick to sign you up and take a deposit. But then all you’ll hear is “Someone will call you next week.” And they never do. Service back-up is terrible – Sales process went smoothly (of course), however the installation was poorly done and request for service to correct the problem led nowhere. Had to make a complaint and escalate via Solar Victoria, which then led to a result. Show details

I can't remember all there names but they were a delight to have at our home and if possible I would like to have there work ethics recognised, in these times today it is very hard to find good, happy well trained staff. I would also like to thank a lady called Jenny from the office who was our initial first contact for her never ending guidance and help throughout the whole installation, thank you everyone.

always going to be touch and go due to our low usage, HS worked with me to come up with a best value system which I was happy to commit to.

The installation was carried out in the middle of June in a neat and tidy manner. The independent inspector commented on how well the installation was done with no defects found. I subsequently had difficulty connecting to the on-line monitoring system however HS prepared a detailed step by step guide to follow which then resulted in me being able to connect first time. There was an issue in achieving the feed-in tariff with our power provider but that was due to the provider advising an incorrect email address to HS. The system has operated reliably without issue since commissioning and the feed-in tariff is also active.

Based on my experience I am happy to recommend Hello Solar to friends and family and anyone else who asks. Well done.
