Jason Fitted

Used this throughout the winter with no issues whatsoever! Great price and does the job with quick heating. Only thing is; i would have preferred one single remote for entire banket instead of 2 but not that much of a big deal considering the price. I'd buy this brand of products again. Show details
So disappointed with Jason. They have been my preferred brand for many years. 3 wool fitted electric blankets later (one queen and two kings), I am reluctantly searching for a new brand. All of the controllers have gradually died for no apparent reason. One minute the light is on (3 setting control), bed starts to go cold and light is off. I live… Read more
in a cold climate and need reliable blankets. One by one the controls have stopped for all 3 blankets. This seems to be a common issue. Save your money and try a different brand.
Only used for one winter season. Controller began sparking. Enjoyed the fitted sheet style as it stayed on the bed well. Would have liked it to work for longer than 4 months though.

Too hot for autumn – This single fully fitted electric blanket is too hot on the lowest setting. It's good for preheating the bed, and for switching it on and off manually while awake, but not for having it on all night. I don't know if it has any thermostat function. Maybe it's extra heat will be good for mid-winter in cold dwellings like mine. The controller connection is up on the blanket in a surprising location, and is hard under the right elbow when getting up. Show details
Jason electric blankets - Risk of electrocution – I bought a Jason single bed electric blanket and I admit it is a fast warmer, but the hand controller is too big to hold with one hand and quite slippery because the body is polished smooth. However, the first night I slept on it I noticed that the connector to the blanked is right where my right arm/elbow rests and after a few hits and bruises… Read more
with the elbow it becomes quite dis-comfortable that I started to get sores as I accidentally move my arm around at night. The lumpy connector is a flaming nuisance and shouldn't have been there. Past electric blankets have always had a connector (the device that holds the electric cable to the heating element - aka wire) and they were well out of harms way, about the end of the blanket's corner. Plus, their hand held switches were small and perfect to hold in a hand and change the switching of the regulator from low to high. After a couple of days I decided to contact Jason on their website, and of course, I explained it all in a complaining way because it did start to annoy me after several scraping on that lumpy connector that was right in my face and in the direction of my right shoulder. I waited 2 weeks and two days this Tuesday 23 August and I haven't received a response from Jason. How rude is that for a company to fail to respond to a customer? What if I could have got electrocuted because the connector is being impacted, pushed, pressed and being subjected to a lot of movements? Of all the years using electric blankets, this Jason is the worst I've had. If I had known about the company's support being zero and the design of the blankets and the stupid large switch, etc., I wouldn't have bought it. And, I really suggest to whoever think Jason this, Jason that... stay away from this brand. Why? Because, like I said, the connector is in the path were too much movements occurs. It right where you place your arm/elbow, it's where you place your hand, it's where you end up bumping with it and... it's also where you sit by the bed when you get up or go to sleep. Repeated movements, the teasing of it, knocking it every now and then is like testing something to see how long it would last. And in doing so, the connector is certainly being abused to the point where either the power cable or the heating element will be separated from the connector, exposing the tiny heating wires that may perforate the blanket and pinch you like a needle, and if it is alive, e.g. operating in winter, you get electrocuted, and while you're asleep, you may not get up again. Zapped.
Jason Electric Blanket garbage – One side of the blanket not working now other side is I have had enough of this Jason Electric Blanket works good then doesn't so will go out and buy a reliable Electric Blanket do not recommend this Electric Blanket the photo shows the heat control this is not working

Love them when they work. We’re on to our second one with both presenting with the same issue. One side just stops working, both times it’s been the right side. All instructions have been followed. Both have ceased to work properly after only 3 weeks of use. Show details
Follow-up · Haven’t returned it yet as my side still working. Will return when weather warms up. Did ring Jason, I explained the situation and it was recommended I buy a different brand next time.
I purchased the dual controller blanket. While my wife used this regularly in winter, I very rarely used my side. After using about six times, my side stopped working and us faulty. I wouldn't buy it again.
Follow-up · I changed my controller with the one that was working fine and that did not work. I had read previous reviews of this model of electric blanket not lasting long.

I needed a new electric blanket so i tought I did enough research. This electric blanket was wool. It was fully fited. It had digital heat settings and a timer. I thought paying $160 meant I would be getting a quality product. Well the damn thing sucks! The only place it heats up is at the thighs. That doesn't help if my feet are cold. It dosent… Read more
help if my torso is cold. I eventually get warmer about 30 minutes later just from moving around in the bed and warming bits of myself. I bought it in May 2025. Don't buy this rubbish. In fact I think I'll take it back where I bought it from and get a refund. Its just such a pain. I live in the country. Hours away from a city and its going to cost me to drive to the city to try to get my refund.
We purchased a Jason queen sized electric blanket just of 12 months ago. Both sides of the blanket no longer work. We would have used it may be a couple of dozen times. Very poor quality. I would be reticent to purchase any product showcasing the label "Jason". Show details
I have brought 2 Jason electric blankets in the last 6 months and the controllers go within two months after you bought it. So I have brought another company. Maybe Jason needs to look at there cords as they seem to be poorly made. Show details
I accept that these blasts were bought in 2020 but they have actually not been turned on that much. We’ve got 4 of these blankets and 2 no longer work, 1 of those has only been used a handful of times. The control lights up but the blanket doesn’t heat up. I’ve tried switching the cords and it appears it’s the cords fault and not the blankets.… Read more
Such a shame as they were not cheap. I checked the instruction book and it says to throw it out and purchase a new blanket. Maybe I need to find another company.

Queen electric blanket. 2 years old, barely heats up. Flanno PJs would do a better job. There should be laws against companies mass producing junk that only ends up as landfill. Show details
I’ve had a gutful of Jason electric blankets - and it’s always the switches. Within 8 months of buying our latest blanket - a queen size - only number 1 works. A complete waste of money. Show details
One side works the other doesn't. I thought it was the cord (level 1 and 3 worked but not 2; then only level 1 worked). However, when I looked underneath where the cord attaches to the blanket, I could see a burn mark where the fixed part of the cord has burnt the fabric. What a waste of money - my previous electric blanket lasted me for 20 years! Show details
Useless cords – I'm up to my 4th jason electric blanket since beginning of winter this year so only few months The cords just stop working I was even sent a replacement cord last week by jason and it went same night. The new one I bought yesterday one side works fine other side only get numbers 1 and 2 number 3 doesn't work. Spoke to another person today as they… Read more
just bought electric blanket for first time one cord doesn't work one side but she then bought a kmart electric blanket and cords work in jason blanket. I find the cords are very flimsy
Poor design. Noisy – Firstly - the large plastic parts on the side get in the way when sleeping. To turn it on - it beeps loudly 3 times (so can’t turn it on if needed during the night or if I get home late - it will wake my partner. This can’t be turned off). Too slow to warmup. Overall terrible design. Would never buy a Jason again. Show details
The Controllers are faulty – I am now on my 3rd Jason Fitted Electric blanket in less the 18mths... ALL of them the conrollers have stopped working after a few weeks. I battled through with the first one and swapped the conrtoller from the other side. Bought a new one in April and same issue. Returned it and got an exchange and less than 3 weeks the controller on the new one is not working. Show details
Bad product – Got this blanket end of season last winter for a good price. First control stopped working within a week. The other day on a cold night I changed to the brand new control from other side, never used before. Lasted 1 night. WTH
Problems from day one – firstly the instructions say to hold for 5 seconds, if you do that... flashing P without any hope of starting it. You have to hold it for a second or so, see the H then jump in (with the other hand) and adjust the control before the dreaded P starts (before the five second mark). Very dissatisfied.
Good Value for those on a budget – I have found the Jason Fitted QB electric blanket to have been a solid purchase - dual sided controllers, heats up very quickly and is a good size to not only cover the whole bed, but also has large elastic sides to easily cover and stay on a deep mattress. My only criticism is that whilst the controllers do illuminate, you cannot (in the dark),… Read more
tell if the blanket is on 1,2 or 3 - this can result in an unexpected temperature if the blanket is turned on in the night without a light. Generally though, a good investment for the cold winter nights.

Jason fitted electric blanket double do not waste your time – I bought 2 Jason fitted electric blankets in double bed size at Woolworths. Used one and almost immediately one side stopped working. Didn't use the other one for almost 2 years as it was for a spare room, then when first plugged in one side didn't work, then after a handful of uses the other side stopped working. Total waste of money and I'll be choosing a more reputable brand now. Show details
Jason Bamboo Electric blanket – We purchased a Jason King bed bamboo electric blanked in July 2020, have been very happy with it until last night when it wouldn’t turn on on one side, just kept flashing’p’, I tried the power supply from the other side of the blanket which was working on that side and it also flashed ‘p’. This makes me think it’s the blanket itself that has an… Read more
issue on that side. The warranty expired two and a half months ago. I rang the number on the warranty and the lady I spoke to politely told me ‘I don’t know what you expect me to do as it’s out of warranty!!’ Not good after sales support. No suggestion of have it checked to find what the issue could be. I thought Jason was a good brand and expected the blanket to work for more than three winter seasons .
Jason electric blanket - don't bother – I purchased a Jason Wool King Size electric blanket and it did not work from day one - complete waste of money as constantly get the P signal no matter how many times I replug it. I contacted Jason on their website 3 times. I never received a response. I also tried to call them but the line is always "busy". I would give it a 0 star if available. Buy another brand. Waste of money – Waste of money used only 5 times not washed p showing, replugged still showing. Put back on my old one which works after many years. I only pre heat the bed. Show details

Jason heated throws disappoint – Bought two Jason heated throws. They worked ok late at night but went to P and/or C and/or E during repeated times/tests during the mornings, days and evenings. Rang Spotlight, they sent a return mailer as well as two new throws. Full marks to Spotlight. Both new ones did the same as the previous two. Suspecr there’s a problem with the power… Read more
configuration AND/OR the throws ability to handle the power supply. I have solar panels and a smaller Tesla battery.
So tested the throws at another house with mains only supply. They worked fine anytime. Brought them back to first house: still not able to work during the time solar panels are feeding into the power supply. Also have a similar Gainsborough throw that works fine anytime at both houses.
Conclusion: Jason throws cannot handle some aspect of my home power supply that includes solar panels and a battery. It’s a design problem for the Jason throw and/or the power supply. I would expect the panels and battery to comply with supply standards which the Jason throws need to be designed for. Beware buying a Jason heated throw if you have a solar panels/battery system installed.
Australian Wool Electric Blanket – Bought the expensive electric blanket from spotlight, most of time doesn't work, the controller keeps flash P. Exchanged another one from store on the same day, but still the same. Too embarrassed to exchange or refund. Very disappointed. Regret. Bought another one from Admiral less than 100 dollars, but very effective and easy to control. Show details
Jason fitted electric blanket – I bought a Jason electric blanket 3 years ago, after a year the wires started to protrude, eventually sparked and caught fire. deal with that I went directly to Jason, wrote a long email detailing the events, several weeks later no response, so I called and they claimed to not have received my email, then told me because it had past warranty by 1 year and plugged into a safety power board that it voids the warranty. She had no care that our house could have burnt down, and that our kids also had Jason electric blankets on their beds. I threw them all into the bin, and will NEVER buy Jason products again. I would give it a zero star if it was available.
Jason electric blanket not happy with controllers..worked great until controllers stop – Well I bought 2 Jason electric blankets about 1 year ago ..the ones with 2 controllers 1 each side..within a few months 1 controller stopped working..by the course of a year all 4 controllers dont work...not happy Show details
