Zero stars. I can see why they are closing down in AU. Absolutely deplorable. Their sole business is delivery but they are unreliable for this. placed a dinner order and were quoted a delivery time and that time of 17mins. That time period was increased several times until an entire hour had passed. We watched the driver collect our food but… Read more

continue remain static in the area for a large period of time which indicated they were collecting other orders from other establishments. Then we watched them drive and make several stops to deliver other orders. Our order was marked as UP NEXT for delivery however we watched the driver drive farther away and make other stops at areas with shops/food stores. Then we watch the driver continue to drive farther away (all the time the our delivery time estimate was being increased again!) and make 2 more delivery stops to drop off other orders. We made contact with the driver at that point and asked if we were getting our food delivered (an hour had now passed) he replied yes, then he sent a message I have 3 more to deliver and then yours!! Then he continued to deliver orders and made way toward us however he didn’t come to our delivery address he parked at nearby shops (more food establishments he was collecting orders from) and messaged us telling us to meet him over the road for our food. My partner replied no and we continue yes to wait until he walked our food to our home address. The food was stone cold and had been packed by the food operator with the cold drinks so when I say it was cold it was actually freezing cold as our food had been sitting for over an hour up against items from the fridge. Food order cost $55 for only 2 meals, both meals cold, soggy and inedible (food safety failure) and took over an hour to deliver when we were quoted 17mins. That’s disgraceful. Attempt to contact Menulog ‘live chat’ to have support address the issue and the order refunded but the ’live chat’ messages went unanswered completely. Tomorrow we are seeking a card reversal from the bank. Your drivers incredibly poor services and attitude I believe are the testament to why Menulog has not been successful in AU, your drivers are a dodgy scam. You can’t charge customers for a service you don’t provide. Uber eats is occasionally pretty bad dependant on driver but Uber eats glows in comparison to this mob.

Ordered pizza from menulog 6:30pm, it is now 8:23pm and still not arrived. Phoned restaurant and complained and they have asked me to ask for refund from menulog and restaurant will deliver to me direct. Very disappointing Show details

2 pizzas ordered, but never arrived - ... but Menulog made good on it – I've had good experiences and food with Menulog - until this evening. The 2x pizzas never arrived. UPDATE: Next morning, Menulog responded, apologised and provided me with a full credit. They still need to give the driver the boot, but I have modified my star rating from 2 to 4 in recognition of their quick, courteous and massively quick response.

This isn't necessarily a problem on its own, yet I raised this through their customer complaints department and was told it was my problem and no refund/credit/(or apology) would be forthcoming.

Poor tech, poor service, and poor recognition of years of honest use.

Fantastic customer service – On Tuesday 31st October 2023 I ordered a large Aussie Pizza and lemon pancakes from Sofia Restaurant Camberwell. I shared the Pizza with Denise, which was very nice also the lemon pancakes were cooked to perfection so I would highly recommend using them in the future since their ordering system is very easy to use. Show details

Order never arrived...Requested pick up for thai food for 530pm ...Got a message at 6pm saying driver was on his way...Got another message at 630 saying the order was delivered, worse customer service ever too, person I spoke to straight away said they could not give refund and was very unhelpful, spoilt my birthday! Menulog is like a SHART even WITH evidence, they’ll just STEAL YOUR MONEY… BE BETTER INSTEAD OF GOING AGAINST THE AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAWS… Because a fault by the driver or the restaurant, EVEN WITH EVIDENCE, means the consumer should lose their MEAL & MONEY! If I could leave a zero I would. My food arrived almost an hour late, smelling like cigarettes with a half spilt drink and I was promised a credit AFTER I closed my account. The credit was never applied and I never received the refund. Dealing with their incompetent and deceitful staff is more stress than I will ever put myself through in the future. If I could give a zero I would. I ordered delivery at 4.45, delivery estimate time is 7.10. I contacted menulog to cancel or to at least insist that if it EVER gets delivered it needs to be revoked. No different to 95% of reviews on here. Placed an order with our local Korean burger place at 5:30pm, for 7:30pm-ish delivery (we like to give them plenty of time to work between ours and the hundred other orders this restaurant gets). the app. Ok, not so bad, not the end of the world. I cancelled on the Menuflog app, and reorderd via Ubereats with no issues.

That's not the reason for the 1 star review though. The issue is, it's been 5 weeks since we were promised a refund via the Menuflog app, and haven't seen a cent in refunds yet.

If you scour Reddit, you can find one Menulog email address. Emailed all details including name, order number, Menulog acc number and screenshots of the "we will refund you" notification.

3 weeks later, i got a reply. It had nothing to do with my query. 2 weeks after that, still nothing.

Don't fall for their silly ads just because Bliss & Eso, Snoop and Katy Pery are on them. They are crooks. There is a reason their latest TV ads offer a one off $10 payment for Menulog+ and also a free $30 Hungry Cracks voucher.

It's because they are losing business because they are crooks. Stick with Ubereats, early or late, at least you get your order, or at least, a refund.

pizzas until the drivers were close. I was also told, in future, to ring the shop directly as they would be able to get the food to us in the times asked rather than depend on Menulog drivers. I tried to ring Menulog Complaints as per their web site and it goes to a a recorded message telling me to go to the app. The app does not allow you to talk to someone. I learnt my lesson tonight and will not use Menulog again.

I only clicked one star as I had to. I wanted to provide no stars. Food not delivered, Menulog told me I would receive a refund, no refund given. Contacted Customer Service again, connected with Kaya who did not resolve the issue, stated she would speak to her Team Manager and asked me to provide positive feedback. She then just stopped replying on the chat. Terrible Customer Service, and I’m out of pocket.

The issue was placed an order at 5:38pm order was estimated to be 46 mins total, yet it gets down to 6 mins then goes back up to 46.mins est 7pm not good enough, I was told the order couldn't be cancelled as it was being prepared. The people of Australia challenge you to straighten your business out. Because if you don't, then no matter how much money you make on this scheme you call Menulog, you are failures. Absolutely terrible customer service and complete lack of appreciation of commentating to its customers accurate time estimates. They will say it’s 20mins but in actuality it won’t have been been accepted by the chosen enterprise & yet they will still take your money. Absolutely pathetic service and result again! 5th time in a row using Menulog. Deliveries don’t arrive at all, delivery time extends by an hour within 10 mns of delivery, delivery says arrived and nothing here. Food providers always say we’ve done our part, not at fault. No way of making a complaint, no one to complain to, no way to talk to a person, 50% of order cost to try cancel 1 hr after delivery time. 100% useless. Show details

I made an order through Menulog and an item from my order was missing, I received the rest of my order. I requested a refund for $4.49 for the missing item and Menulog declined my request. only to be told by Parakala.V that the order was cancelled due to a system failure. no explanation, and no effort to assist — just a casual dismissal as if a two-hour delay is acceptable.

This is not the level of service I expect. If your system fails, your team should notify customers immediately and offer alternatives — not leave them in the dark until they chase you down.

Please review this incident and advise how you intend to prevent similar failures in the future. I’d appreciate a formal response and acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused.
