Useless product – The can says "kills in 1 spray". Mortein needs to quote how many minutes that 1 spray needs to be. Even small black common flies seem to need to be soaked in it before it has an effect. Show details

Flies recover after knockdown – After some weeks use I began to suspect Naturgard was relatively ineffective so I sprayed a room then trapped 3 of the flies in a jar, easy to do as they were obviously made very ill by the Naturgard, unable even to walk normally, but 12 hrs later all were fully recovered and flying robustly inside the jar. Mortein NaturGard not killing mosquitos but did kill fly – Where I live mozzies are not much a problem except for this year. even fazed when I blast them head on and continue to make fun of me, flying around happily! Whether they did later I doubt, and they seem to keep it up when I am at the computer they are dive bombing me. I have more luck killing them if I let them land on me and slap them or clap my hands over them! They DO NOT LIKE Vicks Vaporrub though. We wear this in bed to keep them away and away they stay! I need to put some on myself now! Next Im going to try peppermint oil. I actually think it easier to kill a cockroach as the surface spray does kill them.

At last an insect spray with no strong scent – It doesn't have that strong scent that chokes you with one spray. It does its job . The mozzies were out on full force this weekend so I had to go get spray and I'm glad I found this one .Sprayed twice and they were gone. Not something you buy twice – I like to keep the doors open in summer and flies are an unwelcome outcome. I was hoping that a short spray would clear the room. Unlike other reviewers, I have experienced some positive outcomes but I wouldnt buy this product again. Shocking Support – Have tried many times on 0800 number to complain, continually getting disconnected, have left voice messages, no replies. This product 100 % will not kill flies. If I could give 0 stars I would!! – This product is the biggest waste of money! Doesn’t kill flies unless you use enough to almost kill yourself! Disgusting I will make sure I tell everyone I know not to waste there money!

It's hopeless – It takes a lot of spray to kill a single bug. Might as well drench the bug in water with a spray... The bugs react the same way as it would if you sprayed it with water.

Completely, utterly, and totally useless – My wife kept complaining that the Mortein sprays that I was buying were not killing anything, including flies. Our kitchen is very good at attracting more than it's fair share of flies, so I always keep fly spray on top of the fridge. flies just kept on buzzing around even when almost drowned in Mortein.

I would suggest that to make this work, catch the pest, pour out some of the contents of the can and drown them in it. That is the only way this will fill flies and mosquito's.

When one looks at the ingredients on the product, it appears to be VERY low in insecticide value. In some cases the active ingredient is 0.01g for each can. No wonder it doesn't work.

I can also report that other different brand sprays with similar ingredients, do not work either.

I have resorted back to the fly swat. At least that works.

Totally useless and bad for your health – I will never being using this product again. I had a severe asthma attack and my husband could not stop coughing and we only sprayed it for 10 seconds. Take it off the market before it kills somebody. How can you pass that as environmentally friendly and rain forest approved. How did it pass its tests in the first place.

Mortein - Shame On You! – First review I have written about a product, do not waste your money, does not work. Not sure what 'national park edition' on can signifies??? I thought 'mortein' was a brand I could trust.

Warning allergic reactions – I have used this spray only twice and both times have had hay fever symptoms to the point where it feels like I have the flu almost instantly. DOESNT WORK ON ANYTHING!!! – As a single mother I must wear the pants and remove all the creepy crawlers and what not from my home and especially the children's bedroom. Seriously why is this even on the shelves? Did you guys test it before deciding it will kill insects and selling it to the public?

Mortein does not live up to it's brand – I bought this product because previous Mortein products worked. Like all the other reviews this product is 100% useless. Very disappointed since trying to enjoy a Christmas lunch out doors. The flys appeared to enjoy the bath when in contact with the spray and happily flew away. Hopefully the manufacturers will read the feedback and fix this problem. It might as well be a can of water.

Waste of money - Terrible – My cousin convinced me to buy it as he thought it is safer to use natural products. Well, I ended up emptying half canister for a few cockroaches. I found my self spraying four or five times for each of them. This product is an uttermost crap!

Do not buy!!! – My husband bought two cans of this on a malti buy special...Well now i am stuck with two cans of bad insect 'killer'....It doesn't work at all, i have used it on a white tail and another spider and literally had to drown it before it even thought about dying!! I will stick to using a killer that has no natural products!! They don't work!!!

chemical-laden stuff I usually get. I sprayed and sprayed but unfortunately it didn't do anything on either mozzies or flies. The one time I DID get it to work I think it was more a case of me actually drowning the fly in the spray rather than it dying because of said spray. Save your money and try a different brand, I purchased insect surface spray in the cheap Woolworths brand for around $3 and it worked a LOT better than this one did at double the cost! It doesn't have an offensive odour like a lot of other sprays do. Expensive and ineffective.

Hopeless - waste of money – I rarely use fly spray but occasionally I need to and so purchased this product. I spray it directly on the flies and they just fly off as if nothing has happened and continue flying around the room. It's like using nothing at all. Totally useless – Purchased thinking this would be good as it is a Mortein product and it just didn't work. I used it aiming straight at several flies and they just kept buzzing around happily. It seemed to take anything up to an hour to work on them when it actually worked. Whatever Mortein is made up of now, bring back the original version. Nothing Didn't work effectively
