Wanted to buy an EV, and was almost about to pay dealer rates with a delivery in about 6 weeks. Saw an ad (for motor scout), clicked on it and got a call from them the next day. insult to the ute and my intelligence and I told them so. $20 was hard to swallow. I knew I didn’t want to handle the sale privately even if I would get more $ that way. I’m 45k out of town and you don’t know who I was inviting onto the property. I also really didn’t want to be patronised by the sales person as many salespeople do. Chris found the right ute, the best trade in and apart from the foolish girl I dealt with in the beginning everything Chris and Oscar Wholesaler from WA were brilliant. I have sung your praises to all who would listen. I can not fault Motor Scout. After logging my details online I was contacted by Corey. He gave me time until I took the vehicle I wanted for a test drive. After deciding on the vehicle, I gave Corey all the vehicle details and extras I wanted. By the end of the day I had several offers. I picked the best offer and was soon contacted by the dealer. I missed out on a car I was wanting to purchase because the dealership wouldn’t give me their best quote and sold it without a call to me after I had shown interest in purchasing it and test driving it. Being a woman is hard when buying a car as dealerships and male brokers don’t treat us the same way they do male customers. Tahnee went that extra mile and not only found a car but got a discount in a market where demand is high and discounts hard to get. Tahnee was dedicated and her expertise outstanding. Motor Scout, I phoned a few more Mitsubishi Dealers stating my requirements including price. All the phoned Mitsubishi Dealers clearly stated that they would be losing money if they sold me a car at my requested price. The excellent unmatched low-price offer from Berwick Mitsubishi was accepted over the phone and a $500.00 deposit was all that was required to finalise the contract of sale. As I purchased the car in the final week of December 2025 just before the shut down for the Christmas break it took a little over a week for Berwick Mitsubishi to receive the optional parts (tow-bar, nudge bar, roof racks and additional tinted windows (Mitsubishi Outlander already comes with privacy glass in the rear of the car) for installation on the car. Stephan McIntyre the Fleet sales manager for Berwick Mitsubishi made sure that the car was delivered on time with all the optional extras requested at a price that could not be matched by other Mitsubishi Dealers. The entire purchase process was carried out over the phone and via email with no requirement for me to visit the Berwick Mitsubishi Showrooms until the day the car was ready for delivery.
