This company is fantastic. I recommend them highly. We just moved into a new home and needed blinds for all rooms. We chose verticals for everywhere except for 2 large sliding doors, where we decided to have gliders. The company was lovely to deal with, helpful and the goods were delivered in good time and good condition. My husband and I have now put them all up and they look great. Price was good also. Ordered 31/12/2025, delivered 26/3/2026. Was with courier on 6/3/2026. Nearly 3 months from order to delivery and 3 weeks with their courier to deliver to Sunshine Coast ($111). No issue with the product but I will not be using this company again because of the time it took. Show details

We’d bought 2 roller blinds from MyDirectBlinds for our bathroom 3 years ago (these were still fine) & now wanted a motorised version to automatically roll down to block the afternoon sun. of time & money. 1. The battery for the smaller blind (tube shape battery inside the roller) was too long for the roller so was unusable! 2. The bigger blind roller was manufactured about 2 mm too long and would also not fit!! I state again: these had been ordered with the SAME measurements as last time! 3. The app, the no-name (Chinese) brand RF remote & (separate) IR controller (no idea what this was for!) were almost impossible to configure. The instructions on the website & on the the attached links were either too-brief videos or (the app) didn’t have the devices supplied so would not connect. This was a very frustrating couple of hours... As a result, we’ve put back the old blinds and binned the new ones. Did not even bother trying to contact the company as I had unsuccessfully tried to call them to ask why it was taking more than 6 weeks to get the new blinds. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE.

Ordered twice, very happy twice – Have ordered 4 plantations shutters from these folks now. 2 over a year ago and 2 recently. All were face fit for older double hung windows. They all fit perfectly and I couldn't be happier with them. I'm an older experienced renovator/handyman and had no trouble hanging them. to do it - no need for a trades person. Quality is excellent, and they are well packed. The only issue is there is a 2.5 to 3 month lead time and communication after your order is placed is negligible. That wasn't an issue for me, but if it is to you then order elsewhere. The shutters are are exactly the same as much more expensive local suppliers will provide, albeit they'll do it in a faster time frame. So if you're price conscious, can wait and want to get more windows covered for your money, you can't go past these guys. I would definitely order from them again as they are the best value vs quality option out there at the minute.

suppose. Time factor wasn't a concern in our case so we placed the order. I'm a handy man type and took the exact measurements as they instructed to do so for a face fit. The shutters arrived 10 weeks later. No damage as they were packed very well. Communication was great once they were made and out for delivery. I downloaded and followed the instructions on how to install and had them both up in a little over an hour and a bit. They are very good quality and look great. Very happy we went with My Direct Blinds as we saved a lot of dough and have shutters that look and work as good as any I've seen in other peoples homes. Will be ordering from them again in the future.

Had some issues with install / sizing as I wanted the cassette head channel to be above the window but My Direct Blinds were super quick to respond and extremely helpful in providing a resolution and have offered to remake and send new side channels. We love our curtains. We ordered the double curtains, a sheer and block out. Plus we got the motorized version. The curtains came within the anticipated time-frame, company was great to deal with when ordering and installation was easy. Poor product and poor after-sales support. The product did not come with an installation manual, and I was instructed by the vendor to drill holes into the steel frame myself. Following those instructions caused damage to the frame. This was not what I expected from a professional business, and I would not buy from them again.

are really left to guess how things should be installed. As such some components didn't sit flush. There was also just a paragraph about how to fit the Zero Gravity blind and I feel some images would be helpful as if a mistake is made the preload on the blind is lost.

Order the plantation blinds with 'U Channel' mounting. Was informed there'd be a 3 month wait. Received excellent advice once I'd placed the order with expert feedback to ensure best fit and installation. Blinds arrived right on time and fitted perfectly. Excellent bang for you buck – Sales support was great with double checking my custom requirements before placing the order on the factory. While the order did take over 10 weeks to arrive the quality for price was well worth it and they were very simple to install. Luckily they came with spare slat pins as one was broken on arrival but easily fixed. Would definitely order more in the future. Show details
