The guys who moved were great but my moovers booking and logistics failed badly – 3 bedroom, short distance within 15km in south east Melbourne. call multiple times to find out that it will around 5pm. Then the truck that is much smaller to accommodate the move and the men arrived at 5.15pm. The guys agreed that the truck was undersized for the load and I started ringing my moovers again, but no managers available to handle escalations or no one who can make a decision regarding my complaint. I tried again and no one would pick up. I explained the situations to the guys and they were great and helped us out to move them as required. The guys were one of the best but I am terribly disappointed with My Moovers company. I am a returning customer and this company has gone down in customer service down the drain in the last couple of years.
I will think more than twice to book with them again. I gave them direct feedback and no calls or follow ups for several weeks now for their poor handling of my job.
Just wanted to share the bitter experience for others benefit.

2 men late at night in my own apartment that were telling me the contract was non negotiable. They were aggressive in trying to get me to sign saying there was no damage. They walked their dirty shoes through my carpet and invited themselves on the balcony where they had phone conversations with someone. We were 2 young girls being stood over by 2 grown men. They dodge calls when you try to complain and hang up on you. I would never use them again!
If you enjoy being jerked around by a removalist company that can’t keep its own pricing straight, this is the one for you. I provided full details for a quote, received a rate, paid a deposit, and then got a confirmation email with a higher rate. it’s actually a different rate,” but hey, they’d knock off $5 as a “favour.” How generous.
This kind of chaotic admin — or let’s be honest, shady bait-and-switch tactics — made it impossible to trust them. We cancelled the booking, but even that was a saga of multiple emails. And the kicker? They refused to refund the deposit, citing an admin fee. Apparently, I was paying for the same incompetence that made me cancel in the first place.
Later I found out they’ve got a warning from Consumer Affairs Victoria for unethical practices. Wish I’d checked sooner. Lesson learned: steer clear unless you enjoy paying for confusion and dishonesty.

accept money two weeks prior for a job, enter into an agreement, commit to a date, and on the day, do not provide the service. You called at 10am on the day of the move to advise you could not provide the service due to a ‘vehicle breakdown’ You should have hired a vehicle to replace the damaged van. Three people took annual leave to carry out the move, and you failed to fulfil the commitment. Calling at 10 am on the morning of the move is not acceptable and you will pay for this in bad reviews and reporting to consumer council. They never phone calls and an their fleet manger simply turns off his phone. They absolute run around trying get in contact with them. The story change from broken down truck to sick drivers and then to IT issues with each person I spoke to. Eventually 17:00 on the move day they cancelled the job all together right and would not reschedule saying “they have no slots”.
The service is unreliable, and unethical and they have made no attempt to assist or correct your failing customer service. Calling the company on the day of the move, I was kept waiting for 1 hour 20 minutes choosing option 4 ‘trace your van’. However within 1 minute option 1 ‘get a quote or request a new job’ a very bubbly person answered within 1 minute. What business signal do they send, don’t care a dam about existing fully paid jobs, but rather our attention is chasing new work!!?? Shocking behaviour.

avail. Finally rang and selected option to “book a move” and that is when my call was answered. They claimed it was too late to put in a complaint and offered $100 for the inconvenience which was not received. We paid $450 for the move, they damaged furniture worth over 5K. Never again will I use my movers.

Probably never move again – I spent long and hard thinking how to make this positive but I don't really have much to say. The moving in day was booked for 3pm but the 35m3 truck didn't arrive until 5pm. That was fine as their terms and condition had stated to expect delays in their trade. 2 gentleman arrived and began scouting and asked to have the bedframe apart. They had no tools of their own and we had to break open boxes to find a simple screw driver. Had this been mentioned earlier, we would have disassembled ahead of time. The screws were mostly misplaced and I have yet to recover them.
The loading process took around 2.5 hours+ and the truck was completely packed. The boys were very apprehensive about moving the tvs due to potential damage and asked to try move it ourselves. They wouldn't move the computer monitors because of the risk.
Then there was the actual cupboards. There were no security straps or ropes so instead they taped my cupboards and drawers with packing tape. Luckily they weren't veneer or they would have been damaged beyond repair.
The appliances were all scratched on the way into the truck. The walls and floors of the outgoing property were scuffed.
It was a hot day and the boys were grossly underprepared without water bottles on a hot day. So we unpack a few cups to quench their thirst.
On arrival, the unloading process was tedious and it was obvious by 9pm nobody wanted to be there. The boxes and furniture marked upstairs ended up downstairs and vice versa.
The boys were kind enough keep to compliment on our new house as they stroked the topiary shrubs. He was very inquisitive on my work and profession throughout the endeavour. He was also kind enough to keep complimenting on how nice the furniture was. I must say I was flattered.
At this stage it's been about 4.5hours and we settled up the bill but some of the stuff was still in the truck. The boys were kind enough to offer a cash deal for the remaining 30mins but then tried to insinuate that it had taken an hour extra. I of course took up the offer as I felt very vulnerable. Throughout the move, I was constantly advertised and reminded that the boys also offer discounted cleaning service and I assured them that I would consider wholeheartedly.
Now that the unpacking is done some of the damages to the furniture is evident. I really didn't want to leave a review but wanted people to experience it for themselves but I felt a bit ripped off after spending the day being made grossly uncomfortable and to find my stuff damaged.
Now I've never used a removalist service before and have always done it myself. I thought I could stand back and pay to have all the hard work done for me. But throughout the day I found myself not only disassembling furniture but I was also carrying at least a quarter of the stuff. So please remind me why did I pay 700+ just to get my hands dirty and have my stuff broken and lost at the same time?

re-evaluation on the time it would take to transport all of the belongings from point to point. Most of the furniture was unscathed in the move, the two men paying extra attention to be conciderate with delicate and expensive items, which was greatly appreciated. When we arrived at the destination, the two men did not complete putting everything inside the house, with more the half of the household items being left on the front and back porches. They said this was due to time restrictions and being under quoted for the move and that there would not be enough time for them to return. I was then asked to send a message to them saying that all items were delivered and in working order with no breakages. As it was nightime and the two men were eager to return to the pick-up suburb, there was no way to inspect everything until days later. I was impatiently ushered by the main removalist send the message, irrespective of the inability to effectively inspect all 4 rooms worth of items. (Mainly sprawled around the outside of the house.) One important item is still missing, however, the rest of the house made it intact, some items a little scratched. (Expected on a three hour journey). Price wise, would book again. However; the company needs more consideration and arrangement with - more people for the job and the time needed for such a job, so personal and household items can be completely moved in to the new location. Not impressed by the impatient treatment and circumstances beyond my control, however much care was taken otherwise with most things.

inside our new place and we had to move a bit of the things ourselves up those stairs as they had to go - we were happy to pay more for the additional time, but it wasn't an option) Maybe further consideration of the things needing to be moved would be good as they asked at the time of booking, but probably not enough. Otherwise, it was great.
Hard working, polite, lovely people – A 3 bedroom town house, with some large and cumbersome pieces. Moving only 1km away, started and finished on time even with steady rain all day. The men were professional and obliging. I would have given 5 stars, but a wieldy chair was left in the garage and a heavy marble patio table was left behind. I will need to hire more help to move these pieces.

keys over to real estate etc and couldn't remain at the property. Relocating 10+ hours away we had hotels booked etc along the way and had no other choice but to leave all our stuff and trust they would bring it as agreed upon. We had the real estate agent provide access so move could be completed. Contents of 3 bedroom house was picked up the Thursday and we expected it to arrive mid day Friday. I receive a phone call saying I owe a further $1800 dollars because they decided to send a larger truck and that I wouldn't receive my property until it was paid. After over 50+ call (a lot of which they refused to answer) I finally got someone who handed on the number of the drivers who provided info on the whereabout of our property etc. After picking our stuff up on a Thursday it then arrived the following week. Where it was dropped off with nearly every major furniture item scratched, dented etc. The admin at my moovers rang demanding I pay the extra $1800 otherwise it wouldn't be dropped off (little did they know it was already off the truck in my posession by that stage) when I told them the drivers have already dropped it off and that I'm not paying an extra $1800 dollars because they sent the wrong truck and cancelled the day before and made the experience incredibly stressful for a young family they threatened legal action (Lol). The process was days in a row of stress, feeling helpless as if we were being extorted for our own property, to demand a further $1800 for being unreliable, poor service, lack of care with move and borderline criminal in my eyes is crazy. It's astounding how this business entity is still trading and fair trading hasn't shut them down

Said they would fix up the issue. They didn't. Eventually i cancelled the job after no response after 30 minutes. I would be highly skeptical about other good reviews that they may have gotten. Clearly amateurs!!!!

the truck had broken down. They arrived four hours late with a very small truck. They had been booked for 7.30 am and it was now 11.30 am. One of the guys spent most of the time on the phone. I had been told they would disassemble and reassemble things like beds They didn’t! They did not use coverings on the furniture in the truck when transporting as they had promised. The furniture did not fit in the truck so they had to do two journeys and we had to do numerous journeys in our cars to transport what we could. It was the worst move ever. Walls were marked and damaged in the new house as they obviously had no idea how to correctly move furniture. We are in our seventies and had to move some stuff on our own as one of the movers spent much time on the phone in the truck. On unpacking we discovered some of our boxes had been gone through by one of them and watches and expensive aftershaves were missing. We think it was the guy who was on the phone in the truck who went through our boxes but hard to prove. We have since contacted the company and they gave us a number saying they were looking into it. That was THREE years ago and we are still waiting to hear back!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

from Movee to the contractor was limited ( one sentence). Movee changed the time the day before and reduced the available hours for the move. Didn’t fulfill the terms and conditions in agreement as half of our belongings are still at our old place and no alternative as outlined in the terms and agreement on the website. One phone call to raise the complaint initially and no return phone calls after this with no attempt to resolution. Just ignoring and deflection by Movee. Two of us then completed and assisted the one removalist. We were then forced to pay for a service not provided, with 2 of us competing and under the unimplied threat of not completing the unpacking of the truck( which we assisted) or for further removal. We were asked for payment before completion not at a discounted rate which was to be confirmed when initial complaint was made and there was no phone call back. Will be looking at ACCC, Fair Trading NSW, and small claims with other legal avenues to have appropriate compensation and action.

between 3-5pm but more than likely 4:30/5pm.
The driver arrived at the property at 4:46pm, came up to inspect the apt, immediately complained about the size of my sofa, it’s a regular 3 seater. The only large items to be moved was a fridge, washing machine, sofa and bed… they slowly started to take belongings down to the truck at around 5pm.
After 2 hours to load the truck they arrived at the new property, which is approx 3km away, at 7:26pm. It was dark. Immediately one of the removalists (they never told me theirs names) started complaining, huffing and puffing. It took them 30mins to get one item into the property, and 1.5hrs to get 3. Then they started moving my belongings into the property. I had boxes marked with the room yet they kept asking me where to put things or they just dumped it wherever. They had no protective booties for their shoes and my place had carpet. It had been raining that day.
They continued to slowly bring my belongings up and one continued to huff and puff and say how tiring it is.
I’m now discovering that my turntable is broken and a huge scratch across the front of my fridge door.
All up I spent $770 to move a 1BR apt with hardly any furniture. They took almost 5.5 hours.
I asked if I could pay on the Monday after speaking w staff at Movee, the man refused, he wouldn’t leave my living room until I paid him, it was approx 10:30pm, I live by myself and felt very unsafe at that point that I just paid.
I was taken advantage of - I sent multiple notes to Movee and have been ignored w no compensation.

cleaning service for end of lease cleaning. They left the property uncleaned and deducted money from my account without consent.

I was furious as they had a month to organize the permit. On my way to Canberra, they rang me and said because they used a 'bigger' truck they had to charge me an extra $300, even though we had an agreed fixed contract. They said it would be delivered on a Friday. I waited all day, called multiple times, no answer ! When I finally got through late Saturday afternoon they said it won't be coming until Sunday. 3 DAYS LATE, Unbelievable!! When they finally come on a Sunday it was 4 pm, and the driver who rang me said he is working by himself and need my assistance to help him unpack the truck. They could they not even organize 2 people to unload the truck. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are completed inept in every business sense and could not plan a trip to pick up groceries let alone plan a trip to deliver people's furniture and belongings. To top it off, they then tried to charge my credit an additional $300, which is absolute FRAUD. They made a fake invoice which was not the original one email to me, and which I paid a deposit of $200. Their website states '100% satisfaction guaranteed' - what a load of garbage. Sunday as it was along trip from Vic to NSW. The furniture was not packed properly there was damage to several pieces, boxes were stored upside down when clearly marked this way up, they said they would assemble the beds, they didnt, boxes were all clearly labelled for the rooms, they dumped most of the boxes in our shed. Actually dumped is too kind it was more like they stood at the door and threw the boxes in. we were still travelling to our home when they rang to say it was 3/4 unpacked and they wanted payment then and there. The amount they stated was more than agreed. We refused to pay anymore than quoted. Eventually we received a phone call from the office confirming the correct amount to be paid. We paid through direct debit, we refused to give them our credit card details.

a table to move it, and left the screws behind in the old house. They did not wrap the furniture, tied it without protecting it, and it moved in the truck, causing more damage. They stowed boxes upside down despite the boxes being clearly labelled “This way up” They took the balance of the account from our bank account even though my husband refused to sign off on the job, and told the removalists why he would not sign off. They did not deduct the deposit from the balance.
After I quoted their obligations under Australian Consumer law, to them, they agreed to a $450 refund, but it took 9 months and the intercession of Consumer & Business Services in South Australia for them to pay us the money.

Never use this company! – Horrid company. Booked them three months out of move date and on the day absolutely no sign of them. Called a week out to confirm we are all good for the date booked. Turned up 6 hours late! The two guys who turned up dragged there heals through the whole move - because they get paid by the hour. We were only moving down the road - Altona to Altona! so many phone calls and lies, plus illegal withdrawals of nearly $700 and now avoiding me like the plague so that I have to use different numbers to call them, and then they put me on hold 'transferring me to some (mythical) financial department. I had to pay extra rent as I was stuck at my house plus another company to move me at the last minute for top dollar. The cleaning company they suggest is not an affiliation, it is just them again, so the same experience there, resulting in me losing half my bond because apparently there was even a cigarette butt on the ground (I do not smoke).
Rubbish – These guys never bother turning up stay clear of these guys they are a rip off and didn't turn up . We had organised these guys to move house and they didn't even call just didn't turn up.

a refund on our deposit I received no email confirmation, I tried calling and emailing with zero response, they just ignored my calls, I had to get my father to call them to which they also hung up on him several times. I’ve finally got my deposit back after way too much hassle. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.
