this happened during difficult times including Covid, availability of tradesmen, availability and higher cost of materials, this was all worked on behind the scene without us feeling or aware of the challenges Nicheliving went through. Excellent building company and we recommend it 100%.

progress has been made on my house. I had hoped this stay would compel Nicheliving to finally fulfill its obligations, but once again, nothing has happened. I reached out to MD and the Construction Head of Niche, seeking a timeline for completion. Reply was - "It it hard to find the bricklayers". I found myself running around, meeting with various tradespeople to get quotes for the outstanding work—tasks that Nicheliving should have been managing as part of their contractual obligations. Meanwhile, the MD of Niche and his staff seemed to carry on with their lives. Despite all my efforts to assist, to offer solutions, and to facilitate progress, there has been no action from Nicheliving. My emails, text messages, and calls to their MD and the Construction Head go unanswered. Their inaction makes it feel increasingly unlikely that our home will ever be completed.

To add further insult, I recently learned through media reports that Nicheliving has been hiring new subcontractors to work on properties owned by them, including the Managing Director’s wife's home. This was done under the guise of a social media campaign claiming they were "on a mission of completing 90 homes in 90 days." Nicheliving had stated during the SAT stay hearing that they would prioritize homes like mine, which are at the lock-up stage. Yet, it seems most of the trades are working on other properties that are nowhere near lock-up.

And now, news of Nicheliving's rebranding to "Australian Property Alliance" feels like another blow to families like mine. It feels as though they are attempting to walk away from their obligations while we are left in limbo.

Disgusting, Deceitful, Untrustworthy, Unprincipled, Unscrupulous, Unethical and Horrid company. I hope ATO and ASIC come into action soon.

goverment and its agencies that allows this kind of company to operate are involved in Nicheliving terrible performance and incompetence. Do not believe this company until they have finished all the pending houses and at least have compensated all the pain and miseries they have caused to people.

Disgraceful Company – This company is a disgrace. It’s been over 2 years and all they do is make empty promises. My house is nearly ready and has come to a complete standstill despite being told I was coming to a PCI date. That’s when they respond to emails. No regular progress updates and lies in the past about previous progress updates. I have never experienced anything like this and will never build again. house can be built within 12 months very easily. Wrong, False information. So I told him to change to 12 months on contract but they can not because it is company policy. Now he is gone. Not only him, everyone who is involved in this house, all of them are leaving the company. Obviously, way over the last 12 months now.

Second Keep changing supervisors

Now I am going to meet the 5th new supervisor soon. They said lockup states are done however, When I went there back doors were still not finished before that side door was missing as well. The main problem is the supervisor does not know anything about schedules and finishing job dates. Reply back always May be, Might be, Possibly, we are trying to. Sick of it now. No point in meeting the supervisor.

Third Job Quality

Keep changing supervisor it means the worker has no responsibility for the job. Other workers came to do whatever was left over from previous work. It doesn't matter whether it's a good or bad job, just finish the job and leave. Because they won't be working here anymore. When I checked there were so many missing pieces undone and badly done.

Fourth They only want money

They send front of house pictures and tell us to pay money. I went to check the house. There are so many not done. unfinished jobs. Also inside the house is dirty, messy, untidy, empty bottles, cans, junk food and construction rubbish everywhere. Where is the Manager and Supervisor??? They are not even coming to check the house. Only part time workers came to do the unprofessional job and send the photo to the financial manager.

Fifth Delay

They told us Materials delaying waiting for materials without dates. However, next our neighbor has all of the materials sitting inside the garage but not starting the job.

If you look at a trustworthy company they are guaranteed 12 months sharp and a workmate built their house within 9 months and they are already moved in. Even their house starts later than our house.

Absolute shambles. Nightmare – We signed a contract in 2020 and they took two years just to get the drawings done. It took so long our mortgage had to be re done. The design on the house was terrible. No one EVER contacted us unless we contacted them. Always an excuse and never there fault. By far the worst experience I ever had in my life. This has turned into an absolute nightmare. And no one cares from them. We signed up and gave them money up front. That was a mistake. Show details

Nicheliving cancelled the contract – Nicheliving cancelled the contract for my 2 storey house and land, which was signed 12 months ago in April 2021. notification. Many calls went unanswered and communication with different sales staff gave different information. The site display office was unattended and 2 signs on site had 2 different day/time openings displayed. A call from the site on one occasion to the agent whose name appeared on the signs, informed me that the agent who was supposed to be there "has only just left" which was over 30 minutes before the closing time displayed. This agent gave me conflicting information to what I knew and eventually he asked me how I knew so much and I informed him I was the purchaser and disclosed my block. After pressing Nicheliving for answers, I eventually was informed that due to increasing building costs my 2 storey home would cost approximately another $1ook and that they refused to build anything 2 storey. I was not offered anything else or alternative, until I again pressed and was finally emailed one plan of a much smaller single storey house that looked like a box with absolutely no visual appeal. I was not given any other choice or alternative. I finally did receive all my deposit back after signing Nicheliving documents twice as the "wrong director" had signed my papers, I was informed by email. Once again though, I had to chase Nicheliving for my money, eventually speaking to a very apologetic accountant, who did chase up my refund which was returned over 2 payments several days apart as only one payment was noted at first and the accountant needed to check into the matter. I also had no notification of any refunds until I chased Nicheliving. I know this is a difficult time for building but Nicheliving don't even honour their contracts or offer suitable alternatives. I'm just grateful that I did finally get my deposit back and if this is what I have been through to date, I don't want to even think about what would have happened if I continued to build with Nicheliving. My advice is to stay well away from Nicheliving.

14 months in not a single stone has been lifted – Signed Nov 2020. They said they'll get things going in 6 months but then came the excuses. While I can understand the pandemic and influx might stretch the timeline but not by this much. Each month there's an excuse and after 14 months they're still waiting on "insurance". Great pics of homes but company unwilling to provide any prices or floorplans – To be told we have to make an appointment to see them to discuss any homes they advertise without any idea of their prices is ridiculous.
