I can totally recommend Stephen Sutton and his team at PRD New Norfolk for the stress free sale of my mothers home. Having to leave the state, we left the property in his capable hands. He ticked all the boxes that we required from the sale. He was friendly, knowledgeable, reliable, compassionate and not at all pushy. I am very happy with the service provided. Show details ·  1

Oatley PRD - Appalling agency – PRD Oatley. Firstly [Name Removed] was excellent(No2) only had her for a short time. Not only does this agency have a high staff turn over 5 agents for my 4 year stint renting. The last agent would organize an inspection and forget the keys or not show up on the day or for hours later. Wouldn't tell me until I would chase it up. 'This happened a… Read more

PRD Real Estate Oatley – PRD Oatley were the selling agents of a unit in a block at Oatley, and I own another unit in that block. On 30 September 2022, after recent heavy rain the selling agent decided to park a Nissan Navarra on the lawn at the rear of the block. On leaving, wheels were spinning, and trenches were cut in the lawn. After being requested to repair the… Read more

damage, she placed some grass seed in the trenches and on a further request placed some turf in 3 trenches without levelling the surface. This left safety hazards for people using that area. After further requests (ignored) I leveled the area with lawn soil and requested compensation for the cost of the soil only. The Principal of the business indicated he understood the need to resolve the matter but the agent involved has failed to respond. The pics attached show the initial damage and the site after I repaired it. Whatever happened to integrity and respect? One star is perhaps not low enough?

Best Real Estate professional in NSW – Our Home of 25 years needed a little TLC and we needed someone who could come in, see the potential and discuss what we were looking to do to address any cosmetic changes which would allow our home to be presented in a good light so that when people walked in they felt like they were viewing their next home. Chase from PRD in Dapto assisted in… Read more ·  1

the viewings when my daughter was selling her Warilla home. When I met Chase I said to my daughter that I would love him to sell our home as I found him yo be very personable.

We met with Chase and he was amazing. He was honest and discussed the areas of the home which could benefit from being painted, and revamped. When we completed the changes Chase then discussed our expectations around price and we were impressed with all the work he had done to present us with examples of homes for sale in our area, what price was being asked, what we could expect for our home. His consideration aligned well with our thinking.

Our first open house and the offer made, saw us sell our home in that first viewing, and we settled on 27th September.

Chase, you are absolutely wonderful. You were so encouraging, so professional and your positivity provided us with an effortless, stress free sale and ultimately a price which allowed us a good deal of scope when we purchased our next home. You deserve all the good things which come your way Chase. Thank you for your wonderful assistance in selling our home.

PRD Nundah - poor management/ they asked us to Google how to fix water system – I agree in all comments here on how rude these people are (very arrogant the way they talk too). They sent us a picture on how to fix the hot water system and we did as they advised. As it didn't work we sent an email, they never explained to us that the lever that was very loose needed to be moved very different as per the picture in the diagram… Read more

they sent. They then sent a plumber without advising us, plumber fixed it and now they are asking us to pay for the invoice. Not only that, when we disputed this with them they now told us in an email that we should have 'Googled' how to fix this ourselves!!!!... We will never rent through them again, incredibly horrible experience.

Will Never Rent with PRD again – TL;DR [Name Removed] refused to get a potentially dangerous electrical fault fixed. What you need to know: I had been a tenant of 2/132 Tolosa Street for 2 years. There are two convection heaters in the flat: one in the lounge and the other in the bedroom. They’re fixtures to the wall and cannot be removed. They’re listed on the conditions… Read more

report as definitely being convection heaters. In both the lounge and bedroom there are huge windows, almost floor to ceiling, that are not double glazed for sound or to help keep the heat in. So, after the first winter when I found out the hard way how ineffective the lounge heater was I didn’t use it again, but learned how to work with the bedroom heater. The bedroom heater has a 1-10 setting, but I never had it above a 4 over the coldest night. During the day, when I’m at work, I’d set it as a 2 setting so that the chill would be off the air. (I work production for a temperature sensitive food – my long shifts are spent entirely in a room at, or below 6 degrees. So I work in a ‘fridge’ and really wanted to be warm in my flat.)

07/06/22 – I reported, via direct email, that the bedroom heater was turning itself on. I did not submit photos at this time, but did describe the fault. When the heater was turned ‘off’ the functional ‘on’ light was lighted as the heater was turning itself on when I was not home to realise that it was still working. At this time I felt it was annoying but not a fire hazard – my attitude was very ‘I don’t can when/how it gets fixed so long as it gets fixed.’ Unrelated to the issue, I’d damaged my phone and didn’t have a new one yet. So I requested [Name Removed] communicate with my via email

08/06/22 – [Name Removed] immediately emails me back, says she’s notified the owners and will soon be in touch with electrician. 09/06/22 [Name Removed] let me know that Fortis would be attending the fault and I had a job request no. 18753. [Name Removed] said the electrician would be in touch, and I assumed via email as I had told her about my phone – I still didn’t have one. She hadn’t.

So, I never heard anything from Fortis until I did get my new phone and then there was the difficulty of getting a hold of me when my workplace is in a 1-2 bar location. A lot of phone ‘tag’ went on until I could communicate with them via text messaging and, when I couldn’t arrange time off work (because Fortis don’t work weekends) they offered to get the key from PRD themselves. I hadn’t known that was an option and I’m annoyed with [Name Removed] for not offering the option of giving the key to the electrician to just get the job done. And that’s the last I hear from Fortis.

30/06/22 – While I’m waiting for the heater to be fixed by Fortis, [Name Removed] conducts a property inspection in which she left the bedroom heater ‘off’ at the top of the unit, but ‘on’ at the wall, which meant the heater turned itself on while I was at work. I was very annoyed at how unprofessional (and potentially dangerous) this is. I didn’t make a complaint of it as I figured she’s on the job and she had to see the fault for herself – and she just forgot, maybe? Two days later, and I note that the heater’s fault is actually worse now. It started having these huge temperature variations, like it would be on setting 10 and would feel like it was on setting 2, or I have it on setting 2 and it would feel like setting 10 – it was also not turning itself off to maintain heat. So, it became an oven.

I was always turning the heater on/off at the wall at this point, but after this latest fault I turned it off at the mains. I thought I might be blamed for sabotaging the heater and making it worse.

I reported this via the PRD faults website (which [Name Removed] emailed me back at the very beginning). Since Fortis hadn’t arrived yet I thought they’d update the electrician for when they did come around. Via this website link I submitted photo evidence of the fault and did everything I thought right – including placing the fault under ‘general repairs’ (I found out later I could’ve put it under the emergency category). The Hobart office ought to have received this report on Monday 4th of July.

17/07/22 – 38 Days Later – I email [Name Removed] for an update on getting my heater fixed. 18/07/22 – [Name Removed] replies that Fortis had attended the flat and said:

Attend property and inspected heater for report that heater turns itself on. All electrical connection and operation were found to be correct. Its possible the heater is on an ‘off peak’ power tariff and if the controls are left on, the heater will power up when the ‘off peak power is in operation.

[Name Removed] then asked for confirmation that the heater had worsened and if she wanted me to get in touch with owner and Fortis again.

I was so angry when I read this. I work in a fridge all day to come home to a flat that was a freezer and my comforting thought was this was all temporary. Fortis would be coming around to fix it any day now! From day one, I had made it very clear that the heater was in the ‘off’ position – I never left the controls of the heater on, especially when I was not it the house because of the risks involved. I had informed [Name Removed] that I was turning it on/off at the wall! This is not an on/off peak kind of heater, its a convection heater and I had submitted photos!

And I submitted the photo with the heater in the ‘off’ position but had turned it self on. This time I directly told [Name Removed] to contact Fortis (or whoever, because I didn’t care who fixed it so long as it got fixed) and please provide them with the key. And [Name Removed] didn’t do that.

19/07/22 – [Name Removed] advises me she will be in touch with the owner. 27/07/22 – I email [Name Removed] to demand the status of fixing my heater. 28/07/22 – [Name Removed] says she’s waiting on the owner to get back to her. But ‘advised’ me with having to pay for the electrician if they have to send Fortis around a second time when there was no fault in the first place.

[Name Removed] did not explicitly communicate that this is now officially a ‘second’ fault report. I thought it came under the very first job no. And I am angry – When I realised she had let me down I had to go out to Kmart at 2am and spent $98 on heaters. My electrical bill came in and I found it $313 above the heating bills of the last two winters (a combination of the excess power of a faulty unit and the inefficient heating of Kmart’s heaters). And [Name Removed] is arguing that there is nothing wrong with the heater at all.

My next email back to [Name Removed] was not a friendly reminder that the law required her to get general repairs done in under 28 days (because I was uninformed about this particular electrical fault I still thought it came under the category of ‘general repairs’). And I gave a not-so-pleasant reminder that she had a matter of days – IF dated from the time I reported via the official PRD faults website to their Hobart office – to get the electrician around to fix the heater. And I ended with a threat to call the Tasmanian Tenants Union.

28/07/22 – [Name Removed] emails back she’s asked the electrician to attend the property the very next day (Fortis never do). Again, she gives me this crap that the make and model of the heater I’ve used for two years isn’t what I think it is and that a QUALIFIED electrician thinks it’s an on/off peak model.

Fortis never attended my property. Phone ‘tag’ happened again. I did try to text them, hoping to get the same response as the first time, because I can’t call from my black-out workplace. And [Name Removed] is now saying I need to take a day off work (and lose up to $400 for a day’s wages) just so I can be told in person all the crap she’s trying to tell me via email.

15/08/22 – I have to leave Tasmania, for Victoria, to stay with my family. Nothing is fixed. So I email [Name Removed] to cancel the second job number because I just have no emotional reserves to deal with this issue anymore. What follows are token gestures to help me out that only make me so angry. For example, why doesn’t she meet with the electrician? And I’m utterly devastated that she couldn’t have offered that at the very beginning. But by the next email after that offer of help was completely revoked. All the time, she’s constantly writing in her emails that she’s doing all that she can. She’s adhering to the law. She’s doing everything right. And she really doesn’t want to have to make me pay for the electrician to do his job! And I am getting angrier, and angrier.

Once, she did phone me to resolve this issue but I refused to answer because I wanted everything in writing for the Tasmanian Tenants Union.

In one of her last emails, [Name Removed] wrote that she had contacted the electrician and they had reported never hearing from me. And that was the final straw. I replied that I had phone and text logs that I was going to take to Tasmanian Tenants Union to show that I was definitely in contact – and can prove I attempted contact on more than one occasion. I also repeated, this job no was closed and it was entirely out of her hands.

This is when [Name Removed] escalated the problem to her supervisor (?) [Name Removed] . [Name Removed] did not go over the photo evidence, or the condition report to read what kind of heaters I had in my flat – I’d guess [Name Removed] did no investigating into the matter at all. She said, in the nicest way, that she really wouldn’t like to see me have to pay for the electrician to attend a heater that wasn’t broken. And I broke down and cried for a whole day.

I contacted Tasmania Tenants Union (TTU) and this is when I found out that [Name Removed] had 24 hours to fix this kind of electrical fault, because of the potential fire risk. She had to have known, on the 7th of June, 2022 – that she only had 24 hours to get the heater fixed even if I was the one with a bit of laid back attitude (at the very beginning). Instead, it took over two months for me to give up and not have anything fixed.

I talked about my rights to end the lease with PRD. There’s an option to ‘abandon’ the property when repairs are not done. But PRD, allegedly, have a qualified electrician saying there is absolutely no fault so I couldn’t give notice to ‘abandon’ the property. So, I angled for an eviction. An option not many people find ethical, but nonetheless my only legal option.

And things started looking up from there. I got a new place and stopped paying my rent, knowing I was forfeiting my bond in rent arrears. I got the carpets cleaned and professionally cleaned the flat as though I was ending the lease naturally. I have my problems with PRD, I didn’t want to take that out on the next tenant who will have to deal with the heaters themselves.

Meanwhile, [Name Removed] is threatening me with the magistrate’s court. But after my talks with the TUU I knew that was all crap.

While the official eviction notice was given the water cylinder started leaking. I emailed [Name Removed] and – to my utter shock – actually had the plumbers out to the flat and fixed it within 24 hours. I was amazed. And looking at my electrical bill for that one, I was only out of pocket $215 in lost hot water. There was absolutely no problem with [Name Removed] dealing with them on my behalf.

But, I did do one last stupid thing. I left various household items in the flat for [Name Removed] to deal with. One such item was a plywood school desk I bought off gumtree for $20. I did try to sell it, and then get a charity to take it, but no one wanted it, and after the moving I was too tired to put it out on the road with a ‘free’ sign on it. So I left it and approved [Name Removed] to have it removed to the tip (was pleasantly surprised she let the other items stay). And that was my last huge mistake dealing with [Name Removed] – she got a company called Channel Maintenance Solutions (who advertise they’re plumbers) to remove this cheap plywood desk at $165.

And [Name Removed] has ‘suggested’ that what the bond can’t cover I can pay via Tasmania Collection Agency. So, I guess after that I’m finally free and clear of PRD. And I sincerely hope I’m never a tenant of theirs again.

Easy smooth process! – Had a great experience renting through PRD Mackay. The property managers were lovely, admin staff helpful and friendly. Yes, they phoned me back to ask if I was going to finish painting "that wall" as that would bring a different price, if I did finish painting,(thanks for that info). No, couldn't see "that wall" without being in the house. Since then I had further offers to value the place for resale, these offers I have ignored. And I do not consider them quite the agent I want to deal with if I do consider selling again. I like my home, my space and my privacy respected. thanks all the same. QCAT via QSTARS actioned. Complaint to Consumer Affairs currently being collated. Complaint to head office made, PRD corporate team for QLD made today - action pending.

Complaint made about dwellings storm water compliance to Brisbane City Council, building compliance department - action pending.

Excessive flood damage to the lower part of our high set rental ensued due to lack of drainage. If I had any faith in the word of this real estate to fix this before the next sitting duck moves in I would (absolutely) have left BCC off the list of stakeholders to action, regarding this dwelling.

To our landlord, know I am sorry. We have loved this house. We both spent large sums of our personal finances fixing it because the real estate would not. We had no knowledge at that point that our rental was ( after six + years in the name of the lease holder ) a long term investment of our own finances.

Happy to review both rating and review depending on response decided by PRD State corporate office.

Problems with rental : inclusive of but not limited to - Mould problem - ascertained within a $1300.00 mould report ( at a personal cost, without reimbursement offered, to tenant and occupant ) as being attributable to ground moisture. Poor drainage, structural issues inclusive of storm water not being connected to council stormwater system. No clarification given to tenants despite follow up and a plumber who stated he “ would write a report “

Termite problem. Originally brought to tenants attention in aforementioned mould report, 18 months ago. Report submitted to real estate in the interest of both owner having an opportunity to manage his investment And in the interest of repairs being carried out.

No action taken beyond sending a tradesman to “ measure up a new kitchen “ - not briefed on termite problem. At occupants discretion the tradesman was briefed by the occupant and took photos of termite damage - inclusive of main bedroom which is not weather proofed ( first actioned request for remediation submitted six months ago during routine inspection as follow up to mould report submission )

Given 12 weeks notice, without grounds to vacate.

Stated by [Name Removed], PRD Nundah “ The landlord decided to renew the lease twice over now, was undecided each time. You were given extra time twice now “

That information was never made available to us.

The notice would have meant everything to us as a family. It would have meant affording us six months searching for a new home and not 12 weeks.

As the mother of a special needs child who is educated on an ILP ( independent learning plan ) I am currently making arrangements with Education QLD via his school, to complete his exams by correspondence due to having to stay with my only informal support available - family on the Sunshine Coast, who live “ off grid “

An extension was requested and denied, without consent or discretion of the landlord ( decision made “ at the counter - by [Name Removed] and [Name Removed]“ ) verbatim - partners words stated to me after recent interaction.

Will edit to include response from PRD regional management.

All above stated is verifiable and true. Evidence to all above stated facts has been collated and will be made transparent to any concerned parties.

PRD Nundah - you will say you have no record of me - as an occupant who attempted a belated submission for approved applicant status. You know exactly who I am.

Fair enough - but - please know I have a record of your treatment of my partner ( primary lease holder ) and the asset management of our landlord. This dwelling is his investment and the problems stated have become exponentially worse within the last 18 months of unrectified remediation.

To anyone reading. It’s been stressful - even in a national rental crisis I would warn fellow consumers against renting through this real estate.

PRD Nundah raised our rent twice in two renewals - without weatherproofing the main bedroom ( multiple other examples of professional neglect - but for brevity of review I have limited examples - all evidence is collated and kept ready for action )

Review written by myself so as not to risk my partners name being used in a retaliatory way on “ virtual TICAs “

For any tenant who who does not know what this means - educate yourself on the three main databases in QLD which are used by real estates and landlords to “ virtually blacklist “ tenants despite ongoing consumer privacy concerns.

Having so much trouble finding a new home that I am happy to wear any outcome so that he can apply cleanly (for our family)

Contacted by [Name Removed] from QLD head office. [Name Removed] listened to our experience and liaised directly with PRD. I have mixed feelings about this outcome.

I feel tenuously confident that our family “ will not be tossed out onto the street with the locks changed - as other real estates are known to have done to renters in your families position “

I would view this as a basic human right, extended to anyone in this national rental crisis - not only a special privilege extended parents of a special needs child.

However advocacy is advocacy so we remain grateful for the extension we have been granted to find a new home ( timeframe undisclosed - tbc I guess ?)

[Name Removed] management of the situation was professional and diplomatic. He also reminded me of my responsibility to formalize my application - yet, was unbiased enough (within the circumstances) to listen to my lived experience as an occupant.

A respect that the Nundah office representatives really - blatantly - refused me, and appeared to take satisfaction from ( inclusive of refusing to receive the application )

I’d love to give five stars but my genuine feeling is that higher management aren’t interested in how we have been treated as a whole. Potentially I am in error but it appeared to me that the angle of the conversation was repeatedly drawn back to fact “we aren’t out on the street”

( I do over-articulate when I’m upset - I’m verbose - potentially [Name Removed] is just very busy and was focusing on the main reason for us contacting him in the first place )

He also stated that as a father himself, he can appreciate our concerns from a place of understanding.

No clarification was offered regarding the of overseeing this office, moving forward. No mention of whether this is happening to other vulnerable families across their client base also or whether best practice needs a thorough overhaul.

Maybe none of my business - but know - when I raise an issue of conscience with any consumer organization… it’s with view of making that pathway clearer for anyone who walks the path behind me.

I would have felt more reassured to be given some answers on why PRD Nundah were allowed to be some kind of law unto themselves and to know this cavalier and neglectful application of the service the provide to be rectified.

I do not doubt [Name Removed] professional integrity - perhaps he is across this behind the scenes. We can only hope for the sake of anyone who rents ( or occupies ) in the future.

This is why I take the time to write reviews.

Because I have benefited (greatly) from the time taken by others - I try to give this back so others may also make an informed choice.

We appreciate the professional care and liaising on our behalf [Name Removed]. Thank you.

Made buying a property from them an unpleasant experience – Sadly I can say the experience I had purchasing an property through PRD Maitland NSW was unprofessional and quite disappointing. Correspondence from the day the offer was accepted became non existent. Literally chasing them for updates about the process and property was very taxing. Dodgy – Distinctly shonky. After my phone enquiries regarding a property that I was very interested in, I was surprised to receive instructions from the listing agent that I should submit my personal details, offer amount and conditions to purchase the property via text message. Er... that's weird, but ok. So I did. Then..... nothing. No confirmation of… Read more

receipt of my initial offer, not a word. No contact at all. Then the property sells. Quickly. For less than I assumed would be the sale price and less than I was prepared to pay. Strange, I thought... Then I'm contacted several days later by phone by another agent from the same office. I make enquiries regarding the circumstances of the sale. The agent twists and turns , clearly not wanting to address my questions and fobs me off, says that he'll call me back straight away with the information. Two weeks later I'm still waiting for that phone call so I contact him. He'll call me back straight away, blah blah blah.... Deafening silence ever since. Hmmmmm.... Riddle me this. Real estate agents get paid by commission, right? Fancy that. A real estate agent that steadfastly doesn't want to sell me real estate. We're also referring to the same agent that boasts of hundreds of 5-star ratings. The same agent that boasts to get the best price for clients.... Something smells of dead fish here. We'll see. I won't be surprised to find that this agent , or someone that he knows bought the property himself, cheaply from whom he described to me as " elderly vendors" . I know that shares insider trading is illegal, but who do I complain to about this?

Pathetic service and unprofessional conduct at PRD Morisset – Our family property was managed by L J Hooker Morisset who gave us honest and honourable service for 5 years. When PRD Morisset took over we terminated their services after 6 months. Details follow: 1. Given a new Management Agreement with PRD after being advised that “nothing will change”, we found the 6% commission we paid had gst added… Read more

(previously included), a fee of one weeks rent for annual lease renewal and a commission on water usage paid by the tenant – all new to us! Was removed after we rejected. 2. Inspections and rent reviews not done unless we asked and usually overdue. Inspections were inefficient and slack. 3. Being unable to attend the last inspection we visited the property the next day to check out the one item reported. We discovered 5 other items that were not picked up. Tenant advised that they had been asked to be on standby between 9 am and 4 pm 4. Tenant advised Inspection lasted 10 minutes and didn’t include yard cos she was in high heels! Denied by Ben Lawson the Principal when he called for a "chat", after my complaints, insinuating the tenant was lying. Turned down my suggestion for a meeting with tenant to clarify! In the same conversation he admits that "staff were only allocated 10 minutes for inspections, it was not the responsibility of the Agent to find issues during an Inspection but for the Tenant to report them"! When asked what the purpose of the Inspection was then, he lost it, angrily demanding to know what I expected for a 6% fee?! Had to ask him to calm down reminding him who was the customer! 5. Blamed L J Hooker for ongoing issues experienced 6 months after takeover! Spoke of his “cutting-edge industry leading technology” that he had introduced which I found hard to understand - unexplained adjustments, confusing and unnecessary detail which were of little relevance. 6. Spoke of his family history in the industry and how he was a "hands on person" who got things done and problems solved. Apart from accepting that there were "communication issues", defended his staff not taking responsibility for any thing. 7. No results or follow up from his staff 3 weeks after work orders issued. They were sent again after we complained, and I was asked if I now "understood" how his software worked! 8. When we terminated the Agreement the "Accounts Team" demanded a letter from my son who owns the property despite him never having any contact with them or L J Hooker in the previous 5 years as I managed this property for him with a Power of Attorney (POA) provided when we first signed up. 9. Despite PRD accepting every instruction from me up to that point, I was then accused by Ben of signing the Management Agreement fraudulently by pretending to be my son, even accusing me of using his ID when they had mine on file! My role "was news to them" with Ben becoming quite bloody minded and vindictive after we wrote terminating the agreement. 10. He then said I should explain all this to Fair Trading refusing to communicate with me again. Until the termination they had no issues with accepting all instructions related to the property from me for over six months and suddenly unable to find the Power of Attorney (POA) document on file. My son then sent them an email asking them to follow all my instructions which was accepted without even the provision of a copy of the POA! 11.PRD even tried to withhold 1 day's rent paid by the tenant on the basis that the tenant paid for an extra day after the notice period! So, they short-changed us for a day's rent on the final payment. It then took 3 emails from me, a grudging acceptance accompanied by a demand from PRD that I send them a request "in writing" before they released money they had dishonestly withheld in the first place! Of course, commission was taken out as they did for the entire 30 days’ notice period with no service whatsoever during this period. My questions about quotes were ignored. Didn’t even advise the tenant of the termination or what date they should pay rent to.

Fully expect to see denials from Ben Lawson or that we were even his clients! His clients seem to mysteriously disappear from his records or recollection if they have posted negative reviews about PRD, as is clear from a scan through Google reviews on their website! The difference is that I have all the evidence in black and white to combat any fictitious stories he uses in response!

Now manage the property ourselves saving heaps of time and money which we highly recommend.

Will never rent through PRD again – The Morisset branch could be run by school children and they would do a better job. We’ve always had perfect routine inspections and exit inspections anywhere we’ve lived, and these parasites decided that they would try and claim things against us that, if not fair wear and tear, we’re actually on our ingoing report! Sending threats like, “the… Read more

owner will be taking you to the tribunal” with quotes that were in the thousands to do things like get a couple of oil drops off the driveway….where the cars go….or dents to the side gate….that were there when we moved in….

The communication was terrible, if existent at all.

The management team there needs a complete overhaul. The proprietor needs to think about a different line of work. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

The stress that followed our exit of renting our previous property nearly broke us. Only for them to claim “we’ve brokered a deal with the owner” or, in tenants terms, “we actually picked up the ingoing report and realised we can’t claim anything against you”.

If I could give negative stars, that wouldn’t be enough.

Fill your property with bogans ! – Want your property occupied by bogans ? Just contact PRD Hobart . A house near me is "property managed" by PRD Hobart and they clearly do not "screen" their tenants . The first lot were very big on trespassing on and damaging surrounding properties , doing burnouts up and down the street , cranking the stereo up till morning thoughout the week ,… Read more

letting their large (and aggressive) dogs to roam the street as well as their kids and threatening other residents of the street . Made many complaints to PRD Hobart only to be told that they are "good tenants" and that they were looking after the property ???? I contacted the property owner who said she had not even been told the tenants were causing issues . After the tenants left I talked to a tradesman that I thought had purchased the property but he said he was just there to repair some damage that the tenants had caused . The tenants that now occupy the house are no better and complaints to PRD are ignored completely . I would not let PRD property manage a small tent .

PRD Braddon.... Now called Archer - Run away! – I had PRD Braddon in Canberra property manage my house which I deeply regret. Not only did they not have a great pool of prospective tenants but they priced it too low. They worked hard for the tenant and treated me like a moneyless pit. At the end of the lease my house was trashed by the tenant, the lawns were not mowed in 6 months, there was… Read more

garbage all through the yard, garage and house and my tenants 2 house bound dogs had used the carpet as their toilet for a year.. all PRD did was get the lawn hacked by a brush cutter carpets steamed and a bond clean.. none of which were good. They wipped their hands of me and left me to sort it out with the tenant. Including chasing 2 months overdue rent. I cannot recommend strongly enough that you don't enter into any agreement with them unless you are a perspective tenant looking for your next house to trash.

Actually mostly reasonable – Rented a house via PRD for a few years. The house had many unresolved problems, but PRD were not bad agents. The landlord wouldn't fix stuff, which isn't PRD's fault. They were pretty good with communication, always friendly. They did periodic inspections of the property - which for landlords' benefit - they turned up and inspected it. I was… Read more ·  1

waiting for the sting in the tail when we moved out, but it was pretty smooth with them. I didn't expect to be writing a positive review about a property mgr - so there you go.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, trust these people with your property! – Decided to use this company to manage my property, they did an awful job! So much misleading and manipulation. Unfortunately I have only looked up my rights after cancelling their property management contract. I am now owed thousands in back rent, plus am stuck with damage to my property that they would not chase the tenant for. So disappointed. Show details

Absolutely disgusted after 3 years – Words cannot begin to describe how appalling the service and attitude from Joanne Owen was at PRD Perth. We leased 2 apartments at the Towers, Elizabeth Quay and paid over $100k in rent. We never missed any payments over our tenancy and somehow money was lost and then found months later. They invoiced us 120 days worth of power and water bills 1… Read more

week before our lease ended and withheld $3k of bond.

I will be updating this post with images and screen shots of the way I was spoken to and treated over the past few years.

You are an old miserable woman and I will be exposing PRD for the money hungry leaches they are.

Stay tuned for factual information back by screen shots.

Keep away from PRD if you are thinking of renting, you’ll be saving yourself a massive headache.

Disappointed – Agent Nathan Grandin called saying the owner of the apartment would not renew the contract and would like the unit back as soon as possible no later than the end of the contract. He said as the owner was the one requesting I could move before end of lease with no issues. I got new house and moved in. PRD claimed my bond saying that I left the unit… Read more

before the end of lease!! Insane!! I was innocent and didn’t ask for proof of request as Nathan Grandin only called me!

I also paid for professional carpet cleaning and sent receipt to Nathan, PRD claimed my bond saying I didn’t do carpet cleaning.

The unit I was living in with my partner had mold and only after 1,5 year, after a lot of stress, it was fixed.

Our Energy bill was $800 per quarter for TWO! As that was the first unit renting in Tasmania I thought Tasmania would be more expensive but NO, after 1,5 year the boiler valve stopped working and the reason for high bill was the lack of boiler maintenance that should be maintained by the property owner. Address is 3/4 Chapel street, Glenorchy, TAS Do not recommend this property and do not recommend PRD

Mould, asbestos, no replies for months – There's a reason 134 people give PRD one star. Wish I'd checked the reviews before renting with PRD Nundah. My place had mould problems for many months which caused health issues. Despite many emails and phone calls over months, the problem was never properly addressed so I gave up. I also had asbestos issues in my place and multiple issues with… Read more

security screens that were ignored. They also held back part of my bond despite me using their bond cleaner and the issue being caused by the damp conditions...in the end I paid for it. PRD: please don't bother with the generic 'please contact our office with your feedback' response... You never listened the whole time I was a renter there so why now? I'm posting this for the benefit of other renters. Grateful I now have an amazing real estate agent who responds within a day to any enquiry in a respectful, friendly manner!

Excellent Help In Preparing Property For Rental – My property was vacated mid December and was in dire need of painting, re carpeting and maintenance. Daniel at PRD Maroubra was extremely helpful in obtaining and chasing quotes for work that I was not able to do myself. He also gave me advice on the little things that needed to be done and even came around and did some work himself. It was greatly appreciated. Show details ·  1

Do not recommend – Liverpool NSW PRD REAL ESTATE.. I was very interested in renting a property. I called up the first day it went up on the real estate.
