No weekend and out of hours options – Ive had my puratap for years. Have tried a competitors product when I had my kitchen renovated but went back to Puratap for the taste. myself. Had the filter changed two days ago but Ive had to turn it off as its started leaking and I dont want to ruin my new cabinetry. The whole process takes about 10 mins so Im not sure why they wouldnt be able to accommodate customers using a couple of weekend casuals. Other than that, the service is reasonably good.

Great after sale service – We had an issue with the system, there was an odour coming out from the puratap system, They came and tested the water quality and replaced the tap, filter and tubes for free. All working perfectly now.

not fixed & after ringing the company again -we were told that they were going to send a Plumber out on the Saturday (eta between 9:30>2:30pm) to fix it. My husband stayed home all day& no one turned up or called. I rang the company on the Monday morning& they sent someone out that afternoon to replace the faulty filter. @Puratap explained that they had an I.T. issue on the weekend hence why no-one turned up. I asked for a reimbursement for the 5hrs lost on the weekend& for the cost of having to purchase drinking water for the 6days without filtered water. I was offered only $10 deduction off my next filter change. When I questioned @Puratap on their thoughts on how our whole Saturday wasted was worth to them only $10, I was told that 9:30>2:30pm was hardly a "full day" wasted. Suffice to say, we will be looking for an alternative replacement for filtered water because of the way they have treated us as long-term loyal customers.

kitchen in a mess twice (photo attached). The second visit was to fix the first bad install — the replacement tap was fitted visibly crooked. When challenged, I was told: “It’s not leaking, so it’s fine.” I had to force the job to be redone. I then requested a call from senior management. No response. This reflects a systemic problem: poor workmanship, no accountability, and complete indifference once payment is taken. I’ll be removing the system and warning others to avoid Puratap

The Technician had no idea what to do as the washer he needed to fit was to large for the area he had.I grinded and shaped the washer so it could fit.As previously mentioned the Technician was just in a rush to leave and to be somewere else as he had a busy day ahead.

contacted PureTap to report the problem, the customer service team refused to send anyone to fix it, insisting that “nothing was wrong” and that their plumber had explained everything to my mother. This is completely untrue. The plumber did not communicate anything at all — he simply completed the job and left.

The leak clearly started only after the installation, yet PureTap took no responsibility and offered no support or solution. This is extremely disappointing, unprofessional, and unfair, especially when the issue was caused shortly after their work.

I would not recommend PureTap to anyone based on this experience. Poor workmanship and even worse customer service.

floor. He pushed and pushed us to upgrade the unit saying the new one filtred out 3 "dangerous" chemicals. When I asked him to write down the names of the chemicals he simply refused. We have been with Puratap since the company started up. This will be our last year with them. Will go elsewhere for cheaper and better service.

Plumber left a mess under my sink, water on my floor, put unit in wrong place which affected my storage system & then tap leaked all over bench tops as soon as he left. Had to get him to come back & replace tap & move unit. I was offered $10 off my next service which goes nowhere near to the time lost and inconvenience caused to me. The tap was unlucky, the rest just shoddy work. Be very wary folks.

We had our Puratap tap replaced (it was old) but it was leaking. It only took two days from our phone call for a rep to come and replace it. Happy with the service.

Love Puratap. We’ve had the double filter one a long time and have it serviced yearly. The technician is always friendly and on time and replaced anything required. It’s a much better system than anything else we have researched.

I have been reading all these reviews right back to the 2011 review and no, Puratap is not listening Adelaide, as they state. They still call a month earlier than they should so year on year the filter gets changed earlier and earlier. They still do harass you with text messages and I am now done with them.

Disappointed – We have been with puratap for over 10 years, we had the same tech..for years friendly then 2 years ago another tech not so friendly last week we had another tech turn up for our yearly change, he stank wasn't friendly and seemed rushed..so anyway after the deterioration of service..adios pure tap..

always get a new filter every year that I pay for it??? Or is it just being sanitised?? Which I never knew that happened until recently... Still egg smell back next day... Now checking out the spout as that's just still under warranty... So if it wasn't I'd have to pay for that again to stop the egg smell??? renewal doesnt make sense. I would think a simple no means no but obviously not. Not the kind of attitude that would get any ex-customer to come back.

Very misleading advertisements to draw you in – Website is very misleading. Tap is advertised and marketed as there are no additional costs for new customers. The when processed, a few days later a customer consultant calls to ‘book the inspection’ and the ask you to then pay for the filter and that the tap you had purchased did not come with any of the filter accessories. I informed them it was very misleading and requested a refund.

Misleading Technician at yearly Filter Change Appointment – We moved into a new house in 2018 and got puratap installed shortly after. every 5 years and it would cost us an additional charge this service call out, even though no one has mentioned this before that day. We had not heard of this before and could not see any information about this listed on the puratap website to indicate it is something that needs to be done.

The technician said if we don't get it done and the pipes burst that puratap is not liable for any damage caused by flooding. He said the whole kitchen would flood causing thousands of dollars damage.

We asked him that if it had to be done every 5 years, why had no one mentioned this to us previously or when we purchased it, secondly if we knew we had to have it replaced during the filter change, we would have made sure we had enough money to cover the additional charge. Not everyone can just pull money off their money tree.

When we were unsure if we should get them replaced or not, he got extremely frustrated, demanding that we give them him an answer now, as he has such a busy day and needs to keep moving.

He pressured us into making a decision on the spot. No business should put this pressure on their customers.

In my opinion, forcing customers to make rash and pressured decisions on the spot is running a very dishonest business because it seems you are wanting to just upsell products when the customers don't even require them.

After the technician left we contacted puratap head office straight away via a phone call and email to provide a complaint about our negative experience. They both (two different people) advised that the tubes do not need replacing every 5 years but only when the tubes are showing signs of wear, would they need replacing. The technician who attended our place never mentioned our tubes were damaged in anyway, but insisted they need to be replaced every 5 years.

We are still waiting on a response to this feedback as we have not heard from anyone. We have not received an apology or any update as to what has happened since the feedback.

Be cautious when dealing with puratap to ensure you are not being led down a mystery garden path and have to pay extra money when it's not really required.

Also, can you please fix your systems to allow people to book at the 12 month date from the last filter change. At the moment, your system gives us appointment approximately 3 weeks earlier from when it was last changed, which is too early.

Easily the best water filter system – I’ve had different styles of Purataps in different properties and I couldn’t be happier. The quality of water is by far the best!
