Installation of new batter and inverter was excellent, premised were left tidy and neat and Tom, the installer explained the APp and other details of the system clearly, we were happy to use Sunboost again.

Sunboost installed a 20KW Neovolt battery. The installation process went smoothly. When i had a minor technical issue with my battery, I was very impressed with the professionalism and speed of Sunboost's customer support officer Emelia. I notified of my issue at 8am. She organised a Neovolt team to come and resolve the issue by 2pm on the same day. Many thanks for the great after sales service.

Their price was competitive and they came and installed it and it works fine. Gave good advice based on our needs. Small hiccup with them sending the wrong inverter at first but this was based on some legitimate ambiguity with our power box and was promptly dealt with.

I have had a few issues along the way, but every time I've contacted support it has been resolved very quickly and efficiently. Couldn't be happier with the service/support.

little communication regarding a clear timeline or resolution.

An installer attended my property on 1 May but was unable to resolve the issue. The assessment at that time indicated that the battery required re-installation due to the previous installation being incorrect. Despite this finding, I was later advised that another site visit might be required, which suggested that the information from the initial inspection had not been properly communicated.

The delays resulted in significant frustration and inconvenience, including the possibility of having to take additional leave from work for repeated visits. I eventually had to involve Consumer and Business Services (CBS) to assist with the matter and encourage progress towards a resolution. It was disappointing that the issue reached this point before meaningful action was taken.

While the issue has now been rectified, the overall customer service, communication, and response times fell well below my expectations.

I would not recommend this company. The initial price may be attractive, but in my experience it was not worth the stress, delays, and lack of communication that followed.

On a positive note, the support team from ESY Battery was fantastic throughout the process. They were always helpful, responsive, and willing to provide assistance whenever needed. Their level of customer service was a stark contrast to the experience I had elsewhere.

I hope Sunboost reviews its processes to improve communication between customer service, installers, and customers to prevent similar experiences in the future.

27/4/2026 we noticed that our Sunboost solar system was not functioning properly the Solax inverter was intermittently dropping off grid or not restarting each morning to collect solar power from the panels. phone, he was able to talk me through a reset test procedure on the inverter and the Wifi stick, to confirm the issue was a problem & informed me that he would log the fault and raise a Ticket number and he would monitor the unit for 24hours and get back to me with advice on next steps to rectify any problems. The unit failed the next day to restart, and I received a call from Tom again that morning to advise me that our solar system Inverter warranty had expired in February 2026 and that he was going to contact the Sunboost / Solax tech teams to see if there were any processes to help rectify this problem and he would come back to me asap. I received phone messages and emails from Tom to contact him in regard to our problem & when I made contact, he advised me that he was going to organize an update procedure to be done on the Inverter unit in the hope that it may reset and rectify the problem we were experiencing, in conversation with him he explained that I had a mechanical background & would be happy to assist with any of the shutdown procedures needed to be done, He organized the Solax Techs to log into our inverters wifi dongle & complete the update on our unit the same day & after it was completed I called him back and he talked me through each step of the restart & then had me download a solax Wi-Fi App on my mobile phone so I could monitor the inverter over the next few days which he would do also, and the result was fantastic, our solar system is back up functioning 100 % which was a big relief for my Wife & I.

I found Tom to be one of the most friendly, intelligent & competent technicians that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with, his patience & confidence / knowledge he gave over the mobile phone and his customer service was outstanding I would rate him highly to your "Sunboost"company10 out of 10 and I will highly recommend him as an ambassador from your company to all my friends, family and relatives, in the future, Thank you "Tom Sunboost Tech"

This is my second system install from Sunboost. It took eight months from application to installation. This was an unacceptable wait time in my opinion. There were long times between updates, and many excuses. I almost cancelled. The system seems to be working well and the installers seem to be on the ball. It was all done in approx 4 hours. The 2 stars is simply for the wait time

The Installation team arrived at the appointed time and were friendly, courteous and professional. The installation job proceeded without any problems. Overall the installation was professional done and looked good.

We have been very happy with the service and product. The installer Ryan was excellent and even better than we expected. The communication along the way from the whole team was very good. And we were also happy to refer many friends and receive the bonus

Everything was fine, although on the day of the installation, the installer advised that the batteries wouldn't fit into the space stated by Sunboost, and extra fire proof material was required as it is a timber building. All the measurements and building construction info were provided to Sunboost at the time of quoting. This should have been provided to the installer, and the extra cost for materials in the original quote. Show reply
