Third time your out! More luck with a cup and piece of string! – Onto my third monitor in 3 years! 4th in 5 years. If the cameras weren’t so expensive to replace I would dump this thing in a heart beat! New one just froze and can’t reset the monitor, rang customer support and told to return for repair! Great Image Quality, Easy Set Up but Not Great Battery Life – I love the image quality of this monitor. goes flat. The range isn't bad, better than a couple of other monitors I have used. Sometimes it beeps out of range but not often. You can connect to your mobile also but i haven't used this function to be able to offer a review on that feature. I would recommend it to friends & family.

doubts anything would reach the distance with so many walls to pass through. The monitor reaches no hassles at all, we’ve only had it a week but we have no issues with it. I find the screen clear enough for what we need and the settings are enough for what we need as well. The monitor battery doesn’t last for ages but we work around it. I will look at getting an extra charging dock so we have one for the lounge and for our room to save moving it. We also purchased a $99 Kmart Genio wifi camera so when we are out of range in the yard or not near the monitor we can use our phones to check on Bub if needed. This combo is working well for us.

Great option when it works : Unreliable ! – We bought one set of the camera and monitor. After 3 weeks the telethon was lost and it said out of range, even when placed next to each other. Some days would work fine but what a hassle not being able to rely on it. the fact that it has batteries in the camera, temperature monitoring and a clip but when you can’t use it… what’s the point. We got a 70.- monitor that doesn’t have all the features but that actually is works !

Has potential but big flaws – I have had mine for two days and was very excited about it, given the great functions- wireless, remote night light, lullabies and zoom functions, walkie-talkie, doesn't require wifi, good picture and audio. mins or so, and after only about 2.5 hours, the camera went flat and the monitor was almost flat. Also the really loud beep when turning the camera on woke my sleeping baby! Very frustrating.

Those significant cons outweigh the pros for me and I regret getting it.

Temperature gauge was wrong and showed the temperature as being a few degrees warmer than it was.

Very disappointed – We bought this monitor just 2 days ago and found that we cannot charge the parent monitor on the dock or connect the app on the phone to the camera. Uniden baby monitor not working, uniden customer service is unhelpful – I love the uniden baby monitor, the large screen and the ease of adding additional cameras. under warranty. Uniden would not replace under warranty unless I returned it via post and waited for an assessment to be completed. So for the whole process it would take weeks of being without a monitor for my children’s room.

Not the best customer service, making everything difficult.

Great product, if it only lasted – When the product worked it is great. Lots of positives. The issue is durability. The batter life diminishes so quickly. The customer service is the biggest issue! None at all. They don’t even bother to look at the product free of charge or offer any replacement at all. Instead of after 12m they offer you nothing. Just want to suck more money. Even after I explained how many times I have purchased the product and extra chargers. They couldn’t care less.

Such a shame as it would be such a great product otherwise.

activate the speaker on the parent unit, it seems like a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Have had this for about 8 month's now, it was easy to setup and get going, although getting the app going took a bit more work.

Does what it says on the box, temperature display is nice, audio works well. Image quality could be better in night mode, and the clip on camera was great at first until little fingers could grab the cord, so we will need to wall mount it I think.

The parent unit feels cheap, and for a device supposed to be used around sleeping babies, the buttons are very loud to press.

We dropped the parent unit from our couch onto the carpet and the screen cracked, which was surprising as I would have thought the units would be a bit more durable - we now can't use the screen to view the monitor, but at least the app was already set up.

I would suggest looking at other brands before this one just based on how cheap it feels

Don’t bother – This monitor turns itself off all the time, the app is unreliable and one of my camera cords is faulty. Terrible customer service from Uniden- I don’t have a receipt as it was bought for me as a gift however a faulty/unsafe device should be replaced. BW3101R: Absolute waste of money, that God for Aussie returns policies – This is a horrible camera. Ticks all the boxes on paper, easy to mount, can be seen from anywhere in the world, app connectivity, temperature control, large screen! In reality the App is very very very bad and doesn't even refresh, the mount seems like it could break, the battery is always low and the lullabies are dangerously irritating. Awful battery life from day one, even worse customer service – Was gifted this product for my baby shower. Worked FINE for about 1 month, then the battery went. Needed to be plugged in 24/7 and as soon as i took it off the charger, it would go flat. for a nearly $300 product!!! Simply replied with 'As per our head office policy you would be required to send back for replacement battery at $55 plus postage' I took the unit to battery world, and it couldnt be replaced as uniden hadnt released that sort of battery for seperate purchase (their way of making more money from you to send it back) ended up buying an oricom monitor with three year warranty and its been the best purchase yet.

What’s the point of advertising an app when it doesn’t even work? – Ever heard of wifi? Why is it so difficult to connect the monitor to the app? No matter what I do it keeps saying connection failed. I have done everything correctly and even reset the dock - still nothing. Having to have the dock physically connected to the modem is such an inconvenience! “Wireless with app” really know how to trick your customers. to be discreet with noises. This is most certainly not the case. You have to turn the camera on well before you intend to put baby to sleep as the beep sound it makes when turning on is ridiculous. It also makes the same loud noise when it turns off which is an issue if the battery runs out mid nap which risks waking baby. I have also found that the charger cord is not very secure to the camera so you are at risk of it falling out and the battery on the camera dying in the middle of the night leaving you with no vision or sound of your baby (basically, no baby monitor!) which happened just the other night. Very dissatisfied with this product unfortunately. Would not recommend!

Battery life is a joke – I can’t believe that the battery life could be this poor until I read the reviews, camera did not last 2 hours of a nap on second time of use.. no point to having this removable clip device if it has to be plugged in at all times. Dangerous product – This monitor turns on in mute mode when plugged into power. I have had multiple times when the cable has become loose and it has essentially reset itself into mute mode in the middle of the night. Major flaw! been had i not woken up. Got the product replaced as assumed that it was faulty. The new unit does the same thing. Will be purchasing a new monitor.

The display quality is the only thing it has going for it.

The worst product I've purchased for our baby! – I purchased this monitor approx 5 months ago and am so unhappy with it - it is by far, the worst thing I have purchased for our baby. Similarly, if the camera isn't plugged in and dies when in use, there is also a loud beep - not sure why this needs to be the case considering that you lose signal on the receiver so it's quite obvious that the camera has died. - The green light on the camera is SO bright that it lights up the cot - not a great idea as it disturbs bub - The picture quality at night isn't very clear - Temperature gauge is always incorrect - The zoom button sometimes fails and is cumbersome to navigate with many clicks required to get the camera to move around. - If the screen is set to standby (not on all the time) on the receiver, it doesn't light up when there is a noise or movement - it's up to the user to click a button on screen. As a result I choose to leave the picture on screen all the time - which dramatically affects the battery life of the receiver (also not lasting more than 1 to 1.5 naps) - and also needs to be plugged in. - The link to the app only works if it's plugged into an internet socket - and is really unreliable.
