Hopeless tyre came standard on nissan pro 4x – Nearly worn out at 20000 km,they offer good grip wet and dry and not to bad off road , just don't last, my last nissan I put Hankook on and they had 40000 km when I traded it and they were still good Show details
Excellent tyre very reliable wet,dry on and off road capabilities – Have these tryes fitted to Toyota hilux Sr model, Have made numerous road trips through Outback qld and Cape York peninsula through the bloomfield track, great traction In the wet and on gravel and sand roads as well as beach driving. Have done 60000klm had no issues with them. would buy them again. Show details
Nice and quiet – Very quiet tyres for an A/T. Great in sand and gravel roads. Majority of it's life has been spent on bitumen roads. Purchased these knowing that yokohama has 2 years puncture warranty on their product. I still have two of these in my car after 4 years and 60,000 plus klms! I had two replaced with the new model GO15 and they're as quiet as these. I… Read more
had one punctured within the two years when travelling around Northern territory, I only noticed it at the petrol station. A stick nearly when through the tyre but it wasn't loosing any pressure. Went to Bob Jane when we eventually got to Darwin and they replaced it for half price. Very happy with these and will keep purchasing when the tyres are due. They're a bit expensive to purchase initially but it definitely paid off!

Good tyres!!!! – About to replace the second set of these tyres 225/60/17's on a diesel forester. The OE tyres lasted about 20'000 k's before a stone went through a sidewall and when the wear was becoming obvious. 200,000 k's later including an unplanned trip to The Tip (only one puncture due to a rogue masonry drill bit) and various tough gravel, snow and sand… Read more
tracks along with a variety of tarmac conditions I'll buy them again. The fact that they've been filled with nitrogen probably helps the wear but they have been good in all these conditions. They are positive on gravel, wet bitumen and snow and went well in soft sand tracks when deflated to about 20psi. The car is always a pleasure to drive and it's a pity these tyres weren't original equipment or I'd still have another 20'000 k's to run before the next purchase....Awesome tyre for this work!!!
Long lasting – I have run 50,000 km and they are only half worn. I love the dry grip and the off road traction is amazing. The tyres are not as quiet as the newer GO15, but not terribly more so. Show details
Brilliant Tyre! – I have never felt as safe as i do when im using these tyres. They are an excellent tyre that copes in ALL conditions. This tyre feels nice and smooth when driving on or off road. They also connect well with gravel roads. The durability is amazing. All terrain tyres are as says ALL TERRAIN Perfectly! When taken care of, looked after by rotating… Read more
every 10000km wheel alignments this tyre has a very good life span.
Id definitely buy this tyre again.

Not fit for off road – These were recommended by Bob Jane for my trip to the Gibb River Road in the Kimberleys. Despite lowering tyre pressures on gravel surfaces I got three punctures, I then went up to Cape York and got two punctures, again on gravel surfaces. They are good tyres on the sealed roads and would be good in sand however they are too soft for gravel… Read more
surfaces. Each punctures was through the tread and at 70yo I'm not driving like a mad 4wd driver. Very disappointed however I have gained a higher level of fitness by changing wheels on hot dusty roads.
Great Tyre Great Price but read the whole review – I bought these tyres (265/70R16) just on 12 months ago and am very happy with the performance they have given me. I have done almost 25000klms with very little signs of wear. I replaced them prior to a 9000klm trip towing a 18' caravan from Qld to the length of the Murray River through NSW to VIC to SA and back with no issues as they performed… Read more
very well under all conditions, including dry, wet, gravel, corrugations and highway speeds of 95kl/hr. Recently finished a 7500klm Central Qld venture towing the caravan with the same tyres with the same result as the Murray. The rest of the time and mileage was around regional areas. I would definitely buy another set of these depending how much more mileage I get out of these tyres. Only time will tell. So far so good.
Well what can I say. It is now over 2 years since I purchased these tyres and I have only done 30000 klm and they are the worst tyres that I have ever owned. They are well past the half way mark and the most noisiest tyres I have ever owned. They are that noisy I am seriously considering throwing them out and getting my old brand back where I got over 100,000 klm from them and there was still some legal tread left. The only reason I got the new ones was I would be towing a caravan the 9000 klm I mentioned at the start and it was the safest thing to do. I have constantly maintained these Yokohama's and serviced these tyres through my tyre provider and was informed that these tyres were wearing at an incredible rate and suggested I consider a different tyre next time. I paid top dollar for these tyres and they were great for 25000 klm and that is where it stopped. As far as I am concerned they are RUBBISH and I will NEVER purchase another Yokohama tyre ever again.
I don't think Yokohama can ever convince me to buy one of their tyres ever again. Sorry Yokohama but you have lost me.
Shocking tyre – We live very rural and have 14km of gravel road so it's harsh environment for tyres. We have had Wranglers, Bighorns and BF Goodrich KO2's all those tyres out shone these Yokohamas. 35,000 is all we have got out of these and they are stuffed and I mean completely buggered. I'm now fixing my 7th puncher this week. They are so bad that bone from… Read more
road kill is going straight through the tyre and I've never had this problem before. They were really good in the wet when we first got them but now they are dangerous and I'm too scared to pull up quick.
If you own a real 4wd and drive in real conditions don't buy these tyres in fact run away as fast as you can. If you live in the city and never see gravel roads they might suit you better but they are not made for real conditions that 4wds should be driving in. An expensive mistake I've made here back to the KO2's or Bighorns for this 4wd.

So far so good! Great on sand and rocky tracks – Currently driving a Subaru Forester SJ 2.5 L CVT I had the Stock tyres and I've been getting unlucky with my tyres either punctured or had a gash through the sidewall when off roading. This happened 3 times to the stock tyres. I was so fed up that I went to an all-terrain tyres.Yokohama geolanders G015 was recommended but could only fit G012 with 225/60/17 I highly recommend Show details
Regret this purchase – Balancing issues with this tyre. One tyre was replaced after two weeks as it was found to be faulty. Considering the cost of these tyres it has been the worst choice. Many hours & $$ spent with suspension and tyre experts to diagnose the conclusion that the tyres are definitely the problem. E mailed Yokohama - do not want to know about it. Show details
Great tyre – I did a fair bit of homework and put a set of these on 200 series landcriuser and they have lasted 60,000 km's. That included an 8,000 k dirt trip through the Kimberley including Gibb River Road with a serious load, a couple of trips across Dirk Hartog etc. Havn't touched the spare. Great grip and wear to the end. Most underrated tyre I have used, going back for another set. Show details
Good and value for money – A good tyre branch made in Japan. The tyres are durable and its been so far so good. No issue on the performance. Compared with other brand we have used this brand is value for money. We even received a voucher as we have referred to another friend to purchase it from the same place. Show details

Great on wet road, weak sidewalls – Great tyre for everyday and great in the wet, however i kissed a kerb yesterday and blew the tyre (was running 40psi) but they are very thin. They felt good crossing the goulburn river with plenty of grip, however on a steepish moist washout they did slip fairly bad compared to my old BF goodrich which would retain their composure after a little… Read more
slip. I have now purchased some kuhmo M/T for off roading but happy to keep these for everyday and occasional offroading in dry conditions ( just a little scared now of sidewall punctures)
Noisy as it gets older – After 30,000ks wearing well but quite noisy now. Not sure what it is has been rotated twice. Had LT version before and got 90ks from it.The P rated versions after a few Ks sound like MTs. Very good on and OK off-road for an AT only complaint is the latent noise issue. Show details
Can't complain – Have these on my car since new. Have done 40000 km on them so far and still have a lot of tread left. Haven't had any problems in extremely wet conditions. Cornering is also fine and hold traction well. The tyres are very quite on the freeway and can not be heard. Show details
Great all round tyre – Fantastic tyre. excellent on road and highway. good grip in wet. Not as good off road as a specialist off road tyre but holds it own. More than makes up for its on road performance. Unless you want a specialized off road tyre, with poor on road performance, I would absolutely recomend this tyre. Did very well on a trip to Central Australia. Show details
Good Tyre on or off road for the Land cruiser – The Tyre is exceed my expectation on road and off road. The Tyre is very quiet when you travel on the freeway and the car has a better fuel consumption because of the tyre. When I goes to off road, there is no problem on the mud and any terrain. Best Tyre if you own the landcruiser. Show details
Great All Round Tyre – My husband bought the car 2 years ago with tyres on it they are still going strong. They are nice and quite and handle extremely well in wet and dry conditions, fuel consumption is better and they are just an allround good tyre wouldn't hesitate to recommend for any make of suv. Perfect on and off road – I first bought my Yokohama's after buying my stx navara simply listening too the road noise that other tyres made on the road they were quite simply quieter on the road compared with other leading brands and I got 90 thousand km out of them and off road they were great reliable tyers and I highly recommend you trying them they not let you down… Read more
handling and performance on and off road they are equal too any tyre out for quite a cheap price compared with other leading brands they just won't let you down
If you want to replace tyres regularly, you can't go past Geolandars – I initially fitted 4 Geolandars to our 2003 V6 Grand Vitara and was disappointed with them only lasting 30000km, however several years later, I needed to fit new rubber to our 2004 D22 Diesel Navara Utility. On the recommendation of a friend who is a Yoko dealer, against my better judgement I fitted 4 x 225/75/16 Geolandars (as the ute is never… Read more
used for towing, is driven predominantly on grass on our property and is by no means used for "spirited" or sport-style driving). These tyres, which are all evenly worn, handled well until about 1/2 worn but have lasted just over 29,000km - I can definitively say that I will never fit Geolandars to another SUV or 4WD.
Satisfaction , – I purchased 4 geolanders YOK225/75R16 110/107R for my diesel courier from Bob Jane in Ferntree Gully in July 2014 ,service and advice was first class .I have now completed 56000km and the tyres look good for another 40000, but more importantly the grip in the wet is still better than anything Ive had on the ute before .I will have no hesitation in buying this brand again Show details

An Odd Tyre – These tyres are a real mixture of good and bad. When new, good grip on asphalt and dirt. When worn 50% most of that grip starts to go away. Mine had 3-4mm left in the grooves but all the sipes and cross car grooving on the shoulders had disappeared. They have these what I have been told are quietening blocks that appear as the tyre wears ( well… Read more
before the breaker strips show ), and they the seem to make the tyre become noisy and lose grip in cornering. Straight line grip remains ok, but cornering and gravel roads become a problem, the tyres start to wander. Will not put back on, also way too expensive, I put Pirelli on instead.
Great value for money – Already had 30000klm on the tyres and just done our trip across the Plenty hwy, and back across the Simpson Desert, tyres did chip slightly in the hard gravel, great across the desert, should get close to 70000klm out of them. I have them fitted to a 2008 Rodeo, never tested in difficult, muddy conditions but handled everything I asked of them, best advise I got and goes for ever tyre, Adjust tyre pressures to suite the track conditions! superb road drives and control when in speed – these are 'the original' tyres of my brand new LEXUS ES sedan - so, I can imagine their quality preferred for Lexus Cars - built for great drives day in day out - all the year round - I need no other quality ratings more than these - I can be well assured of their durability and great mileages per litre of petrol !!! !!! Good, grip, happy to recommend – We actually on picked thee tyres because we have an SUV and these were offered as a deal with 4 for the price of 3. They are more for highway than offroad use but have proved quite good in dirt. They have proved good in the wet and reasonably quiet on the road. Happy to recommend. The Guys that run this store are really great to deal with and the prices are very good and certainly comparable to big city shops. Show details
Great looking and grip – Purchased these after factory tyres needed replacing, replaced all four. Was recommended these by Tyre Dealer and not disappointed. I love the ruggered look of them and seem to be wearing well after nearly a year. They are suitable for mostly road and about 30% dirt I believe. I have been on dirt, with and without a camper trailer and they provided excellent grip and handling. I have noticed no difference in fuel consumption. Show details
Excellent safe tyres – We have always purchased from Yokohama and these tyres are excellent as the tread lasts for a long time and they hang on around the corners. These Yokohama's are are the safest for those long journeys and off road tracks. We will always purchase this brand because of the safety factor and they also do not slip and slide on the wet roads. Cape York Roads – If you drive on rough gravel roads with tyre rills on them don't buy anything but Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S don't listen to any sale pitches about how good Coopers and Micky Thompson tyres are. I drive a lot on Cape York roads and the Geolandars are the best safe driving tyres on the market and are well priced. Brett Cape York Roads 35 Years Show details
Surprised at how they went – I bought a set of 5 GO12 and although we don't do a huge amount off road, we have done some pretty rough tracks and they have been great. We have had one puncture(locally and not offroad) that was repaired and never gone wrong since. They have done really well and have always held their air pressure well. Four years and 91500km+ later and… Read more
three are still quite good while the other two are worn, our car seems to wear them down unevenly, no matter what is done. I have been told it may have something to do with all the roundabouts we have?! I have started looking out to get a new set, obviously the newer GO15, but not in a rush for them yet.
Good Tyre – Replaced all 4 tyres with Geolander SUV 215 70 16s on Outlander 6 months ago. Bought on price and wet weather performance. Have been happy with both and have found the ride of the vehicle improved in comparison to previous tyres (Bridgestone and Hancock). Don't do much off road driving so can not comment on that component. Show details
Don't know where you people are coming from – As soon as the 'road tyres' that came with my 2007 SWB Pajero wore out they were immediately replaced with the Yokohama A/Ts 265/65/70. Brilliant in the wet and dry. The last set had 123,000Ks on them and still had 5 to 6 mm left. Only replaced them as Tyres & More had a 4 for 3 offer going.Highway, suburban or off road they have been… Read more
great.
The Pajero went everywhere the big boys went with their Coopers and Mickey Thompsons at a fraction of the cost.
Look after your truck. Look after your tyres. The Pajero has now done over 300,000Ks.
I have no idea how people can destroy two tyres in 5,000Ks
Surprised how good they are – Wasn't convinced that they were the right tyres due to my weekly commute of 400km a week on the tar and going off road most weekends but they have handled every thing I've asked of them on sand mud rocks and road sometimes the sales guy is right not always but sometimes Show details
Surprised – I hesitated putting A/T tyres on a soft roader. I wanted extra bite in the dirt. I also wanted a decent bitumen tyre as I travel Canberra to Philip Is. in Victoria regularly. Bob Jane recommended the Yokohama G015 A/T tyres. Have been pleasantly surprised with these tyres. Good all round tyres with no noticeable increase in road noise, and … Read more · 2
bitumen handling is good. I suspect my fuel consumption may have increased ever so slightly.
Have only done about 5000klms on these tyres which included two trips to Victoria, and a few jaunts on the local forestry trails...one which had me concerned I had bitten off more than should have as we were down a steep dead end muddy trail, but we made it out on the second attempt with a few more revs.
Overall...I am pleased with my purchase
May update as I clock up more miles.
Do not Take them off road – I was pushed for time to get new tyres before the easter break, so rushed into these. I had my Amarok in getting its suspension done and the Suspension shop recommend a local tyre shop that could fit tyres same day. They would organise it for me. I spoke to them over the the phone and they could not recommend the AT-s yokohama enough. I did a… Read more
quick Google and the tyre looked good . I have owned BFG ATs and duellers previously, i should have stuck with what i knew, but the Yokohama's were 4 for the price of 3 .
So on road these where a very good tyre, quite , smooth and great grip.
The point of new tyres was a 4 day easter camping trip in the Vic high country. My original tyres still had decent tread but heading away with 3 little kids i thought best to get new tyres.
Once we turned off sealed roads, i dropped tyre pressure to 28 PSI , on general dirt road they were ok.
As soon as the tracks got slightly more bumpy i started getting nervous, the tyre just did not feel up to it, i slowed to a crawl and soon blew one side wall. changed it and in 200 meters blew another. I was now stranded in the high country on a track with 3 little kids.
A friend drove out on a 6 hour round trip to mansfield with both blown tires, and a destroyed rim, as i had to drive to a safe place to jack the care with the second tyre blown.
I managed to call the tyre shop and let them know, they said Yokohama would replace them under warranty.
No Chance. thats an entirely different review on the tyre shop, wasted $800 dollars, drove on them for 5 days , now there in my shed.
