Youfoodz offers a convenient and generally tasty solution for those seeking fresh, portion-controlled meals, but the service is marred by highly controversial business practices. Potential customers should exercise extreme caution when providing payment details, as the subscription system is frequently described as difficult to navigate and prone to unauthorised charges even after cancellation.
I signed up wtih youfoodz and cancelled subscription 3 months ago approximately, and youfoodz keep sending SMS to my mobile, I keep blocking and deleting conversation but the SMS keep coming. The SMS has a phone number to call to unsubscribe and it doesn't work. I am requesting Youfoodz unsubscribe and stop harassing me with SMS, I don't give permission for Youfoodz to hold my mobile number.
Dont buy from them. They messed up my first order. It didn't arrive and after I spoke to Karen they told me it was delivered and proof of delivery link they sent me wasn't for me. It had someone else's name on it in a completely different town. I asked for a refund. I later got text that my box was damaged in transit and couldn't be delivered.… Read more
They didn't refund me, just put a credit towards my account. I had to get in touch again and say I want refund not credit because I don't want to order from them again. They said again. they would refund me but they haven't. Even after they replied to my review i left online they still have not helped me. I'll be contacting my bank and reporting them to ACCC and sharing my experience everywhere I can to warn people. I shouldn't have to beg for my money back when they gave me nothing for it.

Further to my previous review, where YouFoodz fraudulently used my Visa card details after I had cancelled my subscription deleting the recorded phone call where I did so, and continued withdrawing money from my account, I've learned our ACCC is investigating the company because of the numerous complaints from consumers who have been defrauded… Read more
too. In addition, Facebook have a site called Shame on Youfoodz, so their illegal activities are well documented. To add insult to injury, their food is not even as advertised and is of inferior quality.

Healthy, convenient, variety Delicious, easy, reasonably priced. I love the healthy, quality juices.
Regularly recommend.
I buy the healthy balance range mostly, I don't like using a microwave, so I transfer into an oven proof dish.
I LOVE that the vegetables are never mushy/overcooked. They still have bite, but are never undercooked.
The texture is perfect for me.
Easy and convenient and the meals are full of flavours. Delivery service is fantastic update with option to track and photos sent to you on delivery. Show details · 1
Really nice tasting food. I have to watch my saturated fat intake so a lot of my meals contain chicken, but the variety is good. Show details · 1
Well I've just heated my frozen meal "slow cooked lamb" for the 2 1/2 minutes stated on the box and was cold inside, maybe that should be 5 minutes, I did heat for another 2 1/2 minutes and all was good. Show reply
Enjoying the meals so far (new customer) would suggest more variety of vegetables Had a problem with one meal (see attached) customer service was'nt any help.love Show reply
The order page is misleading, the meals # shows your total order but once you checked out it’s lesser. You might think you saved but you didn’t.

Has been a customer for nearly a year. However, recent deliveries showing decline in quality such as a chicken rice with no chicken. Also packages come broken multiple times. I finally decided to end subscription this morning when the delivery came with 2 meals broken and their contents spilled everywhere in the box. I ended subscription today so hopefully won’t see any further money deducted like others reported Show details

I made an account with youfoodz on 1/4/26 and was first charged on the subscription of 5 meals in order to view the meals. I got charged $1 authorisation on the same day and then got misled to be charged for subscription. They asked for your card details first before you can see the meals you want. Having got scammed on this site on that day , I… Read more
got charged for subscription in 5 boxes. I quickly contacted the agents on youfoodz saying I was not impressed with being misled in a meal subscription and being charged. My order was being cancelled there and then and I was informed my account is deactivated and 7 days on, 8th April today , I got a shock from PayPal I got charged $66.93 for a 5 meal subscription recurring. This is misleading, do not order from this company and do not make an account or click on to any subscriptions! This was cancelled on the same day along with the account yet I still got charged 1 week on.
I had spoke to [Name Removed] from youfoodz. I m now waiting for my refund which will take up to 5 days

$140 order lost, no notifications, poor support: I had a very disappointing experience with Youfoodz, primarily due to delivery failures and poor customer support. I am confident I updated my delivery address prior to my recent order, as I went through the full account setup process again, including updating delivery details and instructions.… Read more
However, according to Youfoodz support, the change did not save in their system.
There were also no notifications to prevent this issue — no reminder to finalise meals, no delivery confirmation, no tracking, and no delivery notification. I only thought to check for this information after receiving a promotional email encouraging me to select next meals.
The only communication I received was promotional in nature. I did not receive any notification confirming my order, dispatch, or delivery. As a result, I only became aware of the delivery the following day, by which point the box had been sitting at the wrong address for over 24 hours and was no longer safe or usable.
At a minimum, it is the company’s responsibility to ensure customers are clearly notified of delivery timing and location so orders can be received and do not go to waste. Requiring customers to actively check an app for this information is not reasonable for a paid delivery service.
Customer support was slow and unhelpful. Responsibility was placed entirely on me despite clear gaps in system reliability and communication. I was only offered a $15 refund out of $140, with the remaining amount dismissed because it was paid via a gift card — despite this still being a purchased form of payment.
After further follow-up, I was told the matter would be reviewed, then offered an additional $10 voucher to be issued later. Communication then stalled, with repeated “busy” notifications and no meaningful resolution.
Overall, this experience reflects a lack of accountability and inadequate customer communication. I would not recommend.
*Attached are supporting screenshots demonstrating payment value and method, the absence of delivery-related notifications (only promotional communication received), and the quality and timeliness of customer support responses, which remain unresolved.*

I signed up to Youfoolz to test the service and see if it suited me. After the first delivery, dropped on the doorstep in a soggy cardboard carton that split as I carried it in, I decided not to continue, but did not immediately cancel the account.… Read more
The small meals were at best edible but by no means outstanding. What I did not realise was that I had somehow signed up for a subscription - not my intention at all and I think the process was misleading. I learned my mistake when a further payment was charged to Paypal, even though I'd made no order and received no communication from the company whatsoever - not even an invoice. The order (I have no idea what's in it!) is due on Thursday and I shall not accept delivery. I have cancelled the unwanted subscription (and made sure to cancel the automatic payments on Paypal's site!) but I note the company will keep my details on file - not delete them! The only way to communicate with Youfoolz is by phone and I am not interested in dealing with another overseas call centre - life's too short!
Follow-up · I have abandoned Youfoolz and consider the experiment over. I have not even read their last direct message. I advised them that the second, and last, delivery would not be accepted but it appears the delivery person left it on the footpath outside our locked gates - I hope whoever found enjoyed a free feed! Food was average for prepared meals if… Read more

multiple times to stop the order and request a refund. There was no real response, only automated replies.
Despite this, the box was still delivered.
I’ve now had to chase them again for collection and a refund, with no clear resolution. What should have been a straightforward cancellation has turned into a drawn-out issue requiring escalation to my bank and Fair Trading.
Poor customer service and unacceptable handling of a basic request.
Avoid.

BEWARE! HIGHLY UNETHICALLY and FRAUDULENT SALES TACTIC! I have a meal subscription trialled for a few week in 2025, after taking up offer of a discount deal. The meals were very small, and generally average, so the subscription was cancelleded on 17/11/25. Meal delivery stopped For a few months after cancellation, I was hounded with phone… Read more
calls, further email deals, and heavy marketing pushes which I all ignored and/or declined.
Then came 29/5/26, I received a text message informing of an impending meal delivery. I was considered as spam similar to the other countless advertising sms's I had received from Youfoodz.
Then on 30/5/26, a meal box was delivered, which I had NEVER SUBSCRIBED OR ORDERED. Upon checking my bank statement, Youfoodz CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT AUTHORITY on 31/5/26.
I immediately contacted their customer service agent on messaging (unhelpful) and on their phone number advertised on their website. Customer service agent ("S" or "Y" - offered my two different names) answered and I explained the situation. I requested a refund, cancellation of my subscription/account, and sought instruction for return of the meal box I had not ordered.
After much discussion, allegedly involving their supervisor: 1. Youfoodz will not refund full amount, only 50%. 2. Youfoodz will not delete customer details, records or credit card details. 3. Youfoodz will not arrange pick of the random meal box they delivered to my address without authority/order.
I raised that by above intention Youfoodz is breaching several Australian Consumer Law, which they were happy to admit, but not remediate. I also requested an email (in writing) of their intention to NOT REFUND the UNAUTHORISED TRANSACTION, which they did not do. Instead an email arrived confirming another random matter offering partial refund & future credit voucher
Customer support is a waste of time so don't bother calling for issues. It was akin to an American accented Southeast Asian robot on a repeat audio loop of "I understand, but this is the best we can offer".
So, 1. ACCC complain lodged 2. Bank/Credit card company - fraudulent charge transaction claim lodged. 3. Online reviewsszz commenced
BUYERS NOTE : Youfoodz no longer accept GOOGLE REVIEWS as of 2025- obviously. ACCC began investigation regarding deceptive/fraudulent orders, but this practice continues

Not happy at all. I order my first delivery to try. Food is nearly ok but far from being great. I got email about my next box which I specifically explained last week that I am ordering once and I am not ready to subscribe. I call to cancel my second order and I have been told it's by subscription only. I managed to have %50 discount on my second order. I am out and will never go back again !!!

This company is the worst. I signed up and looked at food but decided that I wasn’t going to order that week because there was nothing my daughter like. Problem is that you need to put your card details in and once you are on the sight they charge you. they said on the first order they cant refund. Then I went through the menus and put skip meals for 3 weeks as that was how many orders that would arrive. But I wanted to order when I want to order. I put you foods out of my head as I have bigger things to deal with. Then this morning when I checked my emails I saw a PayPal charge of $197.20 from you foodz. I couldn’t believe it so I rang them up and I blasted them. I told them that I want to order when I want to order, I have not authorised any payments. They said it’s a weekly subscription and unless I skip a meal each week I would be charged. I absolutely lost it and demanded a refund but he said they can not, I screamed down the phone and demanded the refund or I would take it to fair trading. He told me to hold the line while he talks to the manager or whoever. Came back to me and said we will issue the refund but I only received $185.22 and they kept $11.98. I got him to cancel my subscription. Be warned everyone this site will suck your money out of you even if you don’t want them to. Stay away unless you want weekly meal. Absolutely pathetic way of scamming money from you. I’ve warned you all.

So I thought ACCC already warned this company about his scamming subscription. In my case I signed, cancel. a few weeks after cancelling subscription get a phone call from their promotional team. Usual telemarketing system of putting you on hold as soon as you answer and then connecting someone. I logged on to see if things had improved since a food poisoning experience in 2021. What I didn’t know was logging on started a subscription as they still had my card on file. Now I’ve been charged over $100 and received a box of food I won’t eat . I’ve rung them and they offered half money back so now they are escalating it I want all my money back! This seems to have become a common scam! Show details

Somehow my account became a subscription. I did not subscribe and I’m not happy so I have cancelled using youfoodz completely . This happens a lot with many companies. You’re somehow pre-ticked to subscribe. Not only that , I thought I was going to be talking to someone in Brisbane about this . Instead I was chatting to someone in the Philippines. Thankfully I received a refund immediately.

I entered the contract to get Youfoodz, deliveries once a fortnight if I remember correctly and not weekly because I am a single pensioner and wouldn’t eat that many meals of that in a week. was offered a credit, but not a financial recompense forcing me to have to buy another order to use my credit. To use my credit I also had to buy two more, lots of meals before it was the turn of my credit to be used. I had decided that I didn’t want any more of their meals and I was told that my credit would be kept until I bought two more lots of meals. Black mail. Be very careful dealing with this company. My $50 credit is still sitting there and will be never used. And. I have been basically told to suck it up concerning The wrong delivery.
