High mileage, but going strong – I know this is a bit late in the day,as there have been two or more updates including three body changes, but I love this car. Brought new in 2004 for my wife, then when I needed a wagon for work brought her a mini, (thats another story) and moved into the outlander, Been driving it every day for work, which takes me up to Brisbane, over to Adelaide then down to Melbourne, currently sitting on 479,000 Kms and it starts every time first time. Ok, It's had two suspensions, they wore out, one pair of drive shafts, (Front) and one tail shaft. All bushing has been changed, they just wore out and two fuel pumps. Gotta say fuel consumption is poor, best 10.8 worst 14.9 per 100kms. but overall comfy. Just for a laugh, took it to my local dealer to update as part exchange and he offered me $600.00!. Just goes to show if you dont drive your car you'll get a better trade in, LoL!. Going to keep it now, till it either dies or fuel supplys finally run out. Comfort Fuel consumption

Amazing - my 00UTY has 372,ooo kms on it since new in 2003, and I thought I had driven a lot! Still getting less than 12L/100K in her, but I do have a lot of extras like bullbar, heavy duty lifted suspension, BF Goodrich rubber, etc to wiegh her dow a little.
Only had to replace on suspension thus far, a water pump, the timiing belt pulleys, the rear diff mounts, and of course a timing belt every 100K.
Happy with the little beastie, not planning on upgrading until it dies! Has been a great workhorse, and an even better offroad toy! Love that car
