Keeps baby happy – Please note that each baby reacts differently to each formula. I’ve had three bottle-fed babies and they each needed a different formula.

I switched my bub to Nan Comfort when she was three months old because the formula she was on was a bit frothy.

Nan has been great for her. It’s not frothy and it mixes well. The smaller scoop (1scoop for 30mL) is good because there’s less waste when going up a bottle size. The original formula she was on had a scoop twice as large, (1 scoop for 60mL) so when she was transitioning to the next size up, we’d waste about half of each scoop because she wasn’t ready to drink that much. The only downside to the smaller scoop is that she now needs 7 scoops, which can be difficult to keep track of when you’re busy and trying to make up a bottle. But I think it’s a good trade off for less waste.

It’d be nice if the tin was better to recycle. The low lip in the tin allows you to store the scoop away from the formula, but you can’t remove the lip when you’ve finished the formula. I still reuse the tin, but it’s not as tidy as other formula tins I’ve recycled.

Overall, it’s a great formula for my little one. We’re not going to go to Stage 2, because I don’t feel that there’s a need when she’s so happy with Stage 1.
