Last time I Pay 5K for Extended Warranty With Excuses And Terms And Conditions Read Out Of A Book – KEEP WAY

I’ve had this warranty since the purchase of my vehicle but have to say they are not as transparent with sales when it comes to warranty and place the blame on the dealer ships instead of themselves not being clear on their terms and conditions . The engine in my cart blew up just short of its warranty expiration and rather than agreeing to have the original motor rebuilt, they opted I fit a second-hand motor from another vehicle and if that was not enough, they total bill even for that arrangement was 21000 dollars and they would only cover 8000 of that. That was the motor towards the end of the warranty. They also like to fit second-hand parts to your car or engine which they did a few times.

Not particularly happy with having second hand parts fitted into my car and having to pay a serious chunk out of my pocket, especially when it’s an AMG C63 507 Edition and all they can repeat on the phone is …” I understand your concerns but these are terms of our warranty “…..That’s all they say. I said to the supervisor. “ do you think you can stop reading the book on your table for a second and listen to what I’m telling you ?… I even stated to her that if her second hand parts blew up my motor, would they pay for the damage . Her response ? They would only pay for the part that caused the damage..That’s the second hand part they would have put in. Not the damage resulting from it. every time I raised something in relation to the claim her only answer was the terms and conditions. Useless resolution when it comes to customer satisfaction

if I was told about these sort of terms about using second hand or used parts which can be of detriment to my car, especially in an AMG C63, I would never have purchased the service. There has always been some condition of some kind. Either not covering the full claim, or the parts recommended by the repairer or the parts like gaskets . Won’t purchase this service again and recommend No one else does either.
