CEVA
3.0They only care about corporate bookings – Still waiting for our car to show up which should have arrived before Christmas. We had one car organised through a corporate account, this car was picked up on the 13th Dec with an estimate of 14 days and will be delivered 1 day late today but we were contacted and received an apology for this 1 day delay. With an estimate timeframe, 1 day is acceptable as something may go wrong during travel.
However, our second car we booked, paid an extra $500 to use Ceva instead of a number of other cheaper options as we expected reliable service and for them to value their estimate days quoted. We were quoted estimate 11 business days and hoped to have the car by Christmas to use(eta 23rd Dec). So we adjusted the drop off to give them an extra day and dropped the car at the depot at 8am on 7th Dec, a week earlier than our other car was collected. The person at the depot made a point of saying the cars are arriving early so its likely your car will get there a couple days early.
We thought great, if something goes wrong during transport its gives them a few extra days.
We never heard from Ceva again about this car, is wasn't until we checked the tracking on Dec 22nd wondering why we hadn't been called that we realise the car had still not even left the depot. No attempt to transport on time or contact us to explain why. When we called their offshore call centre, they just read the script and dismissed us, stating its in the terms.... Just an estimate. We let them know this will now cost us extra money over the holiday period and that an estimate means you should have still attempted to transport within the time frame you quoted, a couple days delay and at least making contact with us would still be meeting service standard expected on an estimate. This is deliberately not caring when you deliver the vehicle.
We asked since you have cost us extra and not bothered to contact us the least you could do is deliver the car to our door when it arrives without charge. Of course they said no and didn't care as the script answer didn't allow compassion or understanding.
Tracking stated the vehicle would be transported on the 29th Dec, a week after it was expected to be delivered. We checked the tracking again on the 28th Dec to find it had been pushed back again to 3rd Jan. Still no contact at all from Ceva about this vehicle.
Disgraceful service and we are still waiting on our car to be transported with no compensation of at least door delivery without charge. We will be expected to travel to the depot to pick it up within 2 days of its arrival otherwise they'll charge us for storage. Yet it is expected to arrive 9pm on the 7th Jan and somehow we have to reorganise oursleves to get to the depot on the 9th Jan, assuming it arrives on this 3rd stated eta date.
There is no justification why our other car picked up later will arrive first, other than they deliberately missed quoted the 11 day estimate with no intention of delivering within that timeframe. They've had our car for a month, that is not reasonable service within an eta window of 11 days and still haven't bothered to provide any courtesy call, apology or service to compensate their mishandling. Who knows what condition the car will arrive in now as it has leather seats and likely left this whole time stored outside in the sun and in the hottest part of the country.
Just terrible service if not a corporate account. Extremely disappointed.
