Incredible off-grid acreage home – We built an off-grid home in Ballan with Stroud Homes Ballarat and couldn't be happier.
There were a few things that drew me to Stroud- their standard inclusions are great and I loved their acreage designs. I sent an online enquiry to Stroud and a few other builders, and Simon from Stroud Ballarat called me the next day. Some other companies took weeks to respond and others never did!
The team at Stroud Ballarat were great at every step of the way. Being off-grid and zoned farming, there were some hoops to jump through for Council and Simon had local contacts for planners, solar technicians, etc who were able to help quickly and efficiently. Meeting with an interior designer to pick finishes was a big help.
We were kept updated throughout the whole build with weekly phone calls and lots of photos. They were very transparent and happy to answer any questions. The build quality is fantastic and we are so happy with our new home.
We've been moved in for about 2 months now, and as always happens, there have been a few small issues that we only noticed once we moved in. The Stroud team responds straight away to get them fixed up.
It's a nerve-wracking time to build a new home, but the Stroud Ballarat team was incredible and we love our new home! Thanks Simon, Shaun, Sam, and Brad!
