sturdy, easy to put up and down, it’s not heavy and the ironing surface itself is lovely.
If you are right handed (so the iron rest is on your right) the lever to adjust the height is on the opposite side so you need to reach over the board to grasp the lever to adjust – not an issue for me but to some it may be, so it’s worth trying before you buy.
The iron rest does not slide in or out, but I like that feature.
My issue with this board are the features of iron rest. It only holds the iron either at an angle, or lying down flat – you cannot place your iron on its heel in the upright position.
So when steam ironing, if you put your iron down on the iron rest (iron is held at an angle or flat) whilst you adjust the item you are ironing, the iron keeps releasing steam as it thinks you are still ironing.
Most steam irons shut off steam only when placed on their heel in an upright position.
As a result you have to dry the iron rest after use because it becomes very wet due to the iron “hissing “ steam when it’s put down to adjust the garment you are ironing.
To combat this, I place my iron at the very end of the board surface where I can stand it upright whilst adjusting the item I am ironing, but this reduces the surface area of the board making it quite small.
A board with a solid iron rest where you can stand your iron upright (solid as in no holes / gaps, not as in sturdy) would be a better buy if you use steam a lot.
I see that Brabantia do make an ironing board with a “Solid Steam Unit Holder” which would be better for me, but I’ve not seen that available over here in Australia.

for this is actually because it's like a kmart quality bin. you might as buy a bin from kmart fir so much cheaper and it will be same quality

sales support that would justify the price. My recent experience in attempting to get assistance from Brabantia to repair an issue with my bin has left me extremely disappointed with what is supposedly meant to be a premium brand. Firstly, warranty and service requests are dealt with by a distributor in Australia and not directly with Brabantia. They spent more time attempting to justify why my issue cannot be covered under warranty, rather than providing actual customer care and assistance to repair and return my bin back to working functional order.
After 2 weeks of correspondence, only to be told that my product "cannot be repaired", with no further assistance or options given. I'm now left to figure out on my own what can be salvaged from this piece of overpriced garbage (without the bin), and considering the grand premium I paid for this product to begin with, I shouldn't have to...

bit of plastic broke. I tried to contact Brabantia via the retailer and I was told that they can’t do anything under the warranty because I have continually over-filled my bins which I have not. The photo I sent to Brabantia showed that the lid doesn’t close properly because it’s broken not because it’s been over filled. I am extremely disappointed.
