Have bought 3 of these with the so called promise of 10 year trouble free warranty.None of them have lasted any longer than 2 years .An expensive exercise have had no problem with the cheaper ones in the past

Out of the box and faulty – Pressed the test button before installing and most of the time the alarm didn't go off. Obviously can't trust the unit and will be returning for a different one. Also, small screw to fix the battery was missing.
