I’ve had two sets of these. First set worked for about a month..then just wouldn’t turn on. Second set put up today and are flickering. Will return and not buy another ever again!
Wish I had found these earlier! – Just love these....having a large bali look pool umbrella we purchased 2 sets of these connectable powerful led warm light lights. Has a 31v dc 9w… Read more
output that can run up to 3 sets at 24 meters length each. Was fed up with getting many solar light sets which only lasted 12 mths to 18 mths. Bunnings have these for a reasonable price under $100 which have really heavy duty cable and super bright warm white leds that give a great ambiance to the pool area.
So romantic without stress – My friend from work got this for my birthday.BEST GIFT EVER! AGES ago I almost Burt down our flat so I was scared to use any candles. But not this!!
Quick And Easy Way To Light Up The House – Many years ago I had a huge amount of Christmas lights on my house, with a corresponding huge amount of wires / transformers / timers in my garage to… Read more
supply power to them all. Solar powered LED lights solve so many problems that used to come along with Christmas lights - you don't have to check through every single bulb before putting them up, there are no wires / transformers / timers involved - the sun charges it during the day and when it is dark enough they turn themselves on. How much simpler can it be?
At only 8 metres these are rather short for a rope light, and they are also quite a bit dimmer than their mains powered relatives. Both of these problems are because they are solar powered and not mains powered, but I think it is an acceptable trade-off for the improvement in speed and convenience of installing them. They have all of the different modes, and they just work.
If you want brighter / longer / fancier then go for the mains powered versions, but if you hate the idea of being on the roof in Summer in Central Queensland then stick with the solar powered LED's.
A Little Harsh – I bought this for our outdoor patio/dining area as the hardwired light is blindingly bright. The product description says it "casts a warm glow",… Read more
which suggests it has that soft, orange (tungsten) kind of light. After leaving it out in the sun to charge for 10 hours, it turned on automatically. The light colour is actually more like a fluorescent bulb, so it's harsh and takes a bit of time to adjust to. It's stylishly designed, weather-resistant and has a weighted base to stop it toppling over, but the pull cord switch feels like an afterthought and resembles really cheap, polyester twine. It's nice to have on just so there's some ambiance, but we place far enough into the yard that it's not blaring in our faces. Based on the light colour, I wouldn't recommend this product, unless, you know, you're into that sort of thing.
Don't waste your money or time with this $14 product...it simply does not sense any movement and thus is useless. Company says it only works at… Read more
night..it does not sense..light works 'on' position but " auto" is the sensor function and it does not respond...hopefully Bunnings will give refund.
Snowing Effect?!? Nah, not a chance – I was looking for a curtain of lights to hang on the garage door, to fill that large void at the front of the house at Christmas. The Lytworx 640… Read more
LED Net Lights seemed a great choice, 1.8m high and 4.8m wide, it would fit perfectly and best of all it was described as having a "Snowing Effect" - just perfect!
I got them out of the box to test them on the kitchen bench, but when I tried I didn't see the end-to-end effect I expected. Though still wrapped in a 1.8m strip, I expected to see a movement in one direction but they only seemed to flick back and forth.
I didn't want to completely unwrap them so I looked on-line for a video. I found one by Lytworx on YouTube (https://youtu.be/Ae1NlWagxlk) but what I saw was extremely disappointing, quite pathetic really.
Perhaps the Lytworx product designers have never seen snow but I have and it doesn't just flicker inanely side to side, it tends to go down... you know... due to gravity.
To try to suggest that this net has a Snowing Effect is utter garbage. The closest it came was at highest speed when it maybe had a slight sideways effect, perhaps like in a blizzard (yeah, right!)!
Luckily, Bunnings took the product back, because I don't want sideways flickering lights, I wanted snow effect.
Spent my money on RUBBISH!! – Purchased a connectable white led ROPE LIGHT from Bunnings, only lasted 3 months now there are no lites working, unfortunately I lost receipt for refund.. never buy lytworx again.. bad
Lights do not function as manua states – Purchased 2 sets of the above of lights in blue. Spending 4 hours putting them up only to find the Bluetooth feature does not work. Very Dissappointed as this was the main reason we purchased them. Cannot return them as they are already on display.
Absolutely disgusted – These lights always seem faulty & only last one Christmas. Seems like a lot of money to spend on something that doesn’t last . Bunnings don’t seem… Read more
