real drum kit.I also appreciate practicing on this and then playing on my acoustic kit I find I don't have to alter my playing style and I'm not cramped up like on other electronic kits.But it plays like a real kit because it IS a real kit. Real sizes brass cymbals give it realistic look the feel of playing a real kit as opposed to the scaffold look of some skits Hi hat cymbals sometime slip

amazed at the tonal quality and tuning range. Well built and hardware is no joke - great value from a veteran builder. These play like butter and cover many genres with ease. The "Gold Strata" is beautiful and the shells are well constructed. Even the stock "Protone" heads sound good!!! I was lucky to get these for a great price and am completely satisfied. I've had many mid level kits and this equals or betters any of them.
