My first one lasted till the first rain and burnt out, on investigation full of water. The supplier sent me a new one and I found that the new one… Read more

had Oring seals around the antennas which the first one didn't. Also the second one didn't have a split seal to install the cat 6 so I had to cut one. I also covered the second one with silicon. Whilst the unit worked well for the first 2 weeks. This company obviously has quality control issues so buyer beware

False advertising – What a joke, DO NOT BUY ONE. they advertise it as a outdoor product it lasted 6 months and the power supply rusted and then told me its my fault.

Build Quality Poor – Bought this product off Amazon. It stopped working after 14 months. The issue was a broken off USB port. The item had been well treated. After… Read more

removing the circuit board it was found the broken off USB port had been very poorly attached to the circuit board. The port had anchor tabs that had not been soldered through the board. The tabs did not align with the holes so had not been soldered. The port was only surface soldered on. There was little chance it was going to last. I contacted Amazon, but as one could expect, no response, no acknowledgement of my email, nothing. Contacted the manufacturer (Wavlink) After the second attempt they did contact me and they did replace the dock. I checked the new dock. The port attachment to the board was unchanged. The manufacturer had the audacity to request I write a positive review. Their service response rated positive, the product quality is not up to acceptable standards. I would steer clear of this product.

A good docking station! great product! – I haven't used this for 2 x 4k monitors but I have used this for 2 x 1440p monitors and the internal lcdl. I have a yoga 920 (Windows 10) and this… Read more

docking station is fantastic! I've no issues with Windows 10 but I did have to download the drivers as I don't have a cd rom drive to read the disc.

Pros: 1) It works great! 2) Delivers video to two monitors while the internal LCD also displays. 3) Takes both full size HDMI and full size DP. 4) 4 USB 3.0 ports 5) Drivers work well with Windows 10

Minor Cons: 1) It's aluminum and therefore is heavy. This can be seen as a pro but I'm having to move this thing every week from home to the office and I don't want to spend to get two!. 2) It has it's own power adapter and does NOT power the laptop. I need to use one power brick which has a barrel connector for the dock and my USB C power brick to power my laptop. It would be far more convenient if the dock power brick powered both the dock and the laptop! 3) The stand is fixed to the dock which makes the dock vertical. If it was a screw on or slide on stand, I could at least put the dock on it's side which would be so much more convenient and better for the cables and cable management. 4) it has 4 USB 3.0 ports and 2 USB C ports. It would have been nice to also have 4 USB C ports but this may have something to do with the amount of power from the brick. 5) Audio out and Mic in are the same port. I'm not sure if I can use both at the same time and if so, the necessary adapter is not included with the dock. If not, then this is really only one port and that isn't very good.
