1.5 Summary

My 2 Lucci Eco (slimline) fans with remote were running well ok till last year. They now run only on one speed in all the speed level and that too… Read more

damn slow. Checked with the electrician and Beacon lighting who both said it could be a capacitor issue. Advised replacement. I cannot believe that I have to replace the fans that just need capacitor replacement but are in a perfectly good (almost new) condition otherwise. Can someone help? My local electrician is happy to have a look but asked me to get the capacitor.

Can someone tell me the capacitor rating for this fan and

PS: The fans are 6 years old so out of warranty.

Lucci airfusion akmani DC ceiling fan 36 watt – Brought two of these fans in New Zealand, paid $550 each on special. dear enough. look great, have them on one meter droppers, due to the ceiling 4.2… Read more

high. have 6 speed remote, and reverse function. cant hear any motor noise even on the fastest setting and very steady. mainly running on second setting to push hot air down, working just great, so far. The dark wood of the blades look cool against the light wood of the ceiling. Instructions for setting up was easy to follow. Must say from 4,5,6,settings on the remote sure can move the wind around.

Disappointed – I was drawn to the style of fan but didn’t realise until we’d unpacked and my electrician was mounting that there is no cover for ceiling attachment.… Read more

I noticed a comment about being IP proof. What that has to do with providing a cover to hide the ugly clips is beyond me. White is more cream and quite obvious when mounted on white ceiling . Also note that this is a powerful fan. It’s advertised as being used in bedrooms (where ours is in 3) but of the 8 levels 2-3 would be highest necessary unless you want to be blown away…. I wouldn’t recommend this fan for interior unless it was extremely large area. Our bedroom is 28sqm… I asked to return fans before they’d been turned on and was told no….very disappointed for price I paid.

thought the fan wasn’t suitable for the size of the room and it still doesn’t work effectively. Positioned it correctly with suitable airflow, and we had water dripping from our ceiling and walls after the first shower in the small bathroom.

These are terribly built fans if they break I recommend bringing them back into Beacon Lighting store for a refund.

called the Lucci Tempair 3-in-1 with LED Light. It has been renamed no doubt because of 21 and growing reviews on Product Review of which 17 were 1 star and 4 were 2 star and an overall 100% negative rating.

Beacon Lighting responded to most of the reviews by suggesting that a warranty claim be made. I did just that and the response back was that 'this claim seems to be more of a product satisfaction issue rather than a product fault, this is not a warranty issue'.

All reviewer's of this product had the same 'not fit for purpose' issues. Don't believe me, go to the reviews and read them for yourself.

A stylish looking fan that is let down by its ineffectiveness to suck in hot air – I have built a brand new home and had 5 of these installed. I have a warm to hot shower for about 4 minutes with the main bathroom exhaust fan on, as… Read more

well as WC exhaust fan on (about 3 metres apart) yet every single time there are multiple dew marks on the walls and doors, and the mirror fogs up.

Our designated building inspector got into the roof cavity and the air is sucking in there, but not actually from the bathrooms, WC or laundry. I was told by the building inspector that I need to open a window for it to work more effectively and that there is nothing they can do as they have installed it correctly and that it must just be the fan.

What a waste of money upgrading to this 'high flow' exhaust fan.
