My experience with the Asko heat pump dryer has not been good. I’ve had it for a couple of years now and the entire time the pump has been an issue.… Read more
Asko have fixed it but never replaced the pump and it continues to be an issue now that the dryer is out of warranty. The machine stops multiple times through a drying cycle requiring the water container to be emptied but there’s actually no water in the container. This makes using the dryer very difficult as you consistently have to check that it’s still running during what should be a normal cycle I would not recommend buying one of these dryers.

Extremely disappointed with both ASKO's products and customer service. Over the past six years, I have purchased an ASKO dryer, washing machine and… Read more
dishwasher, expecting premium quality appliances that would last. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.
My dryer recently stopped working and I paid $225 for an ASKO repair. The technician attended, but the dryer still does not work and the original fault was not resolved. When I contacted ASKO, I was told that while a future call-out fee might be waived, I could still be charged additional labour costs to fix the same issue. I do not believe customers should have to keep paying for unsuccessful repair attempts.
My ASKO washing machine has also been a constant frustration. Despite regularly cleaning the filter and maintaining the machine as recommended, it continues to leave rust-coloured stains on clothing.
To make matters worse, my ASKO dishwasher developed a leak and required repair within its first year of ownership. For a premium-priced appliance, this was extremely disappointing.
Collectively, these appliances are only around six years old. Given ASKO's reputation and price point, I expected them to last significantly longer and perform reliably. Instead, I have experienced repeated faults across multiple products and poor after-sales support when problems arose.
What has frustrated me most is not just the appliance failures, but the lack of accountability when things go wrong. Customers should not have to fight for a reasonable resolution after paying for repairs that do not fix the problem.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase ASKO products again and would not recommend them to others.

Do NOT buy. Never dries clothes properly. It is super expensive. And a cheap dryer from (name your brand) would work twice as fast. And the service… Read more
is so slow. I could enter into a certificate program at TAFE, get my certification before the service man show us. And then he says he has to order a part. What??? He is an Asko service man and he doesn't have the part in stock. I guess it is on a slow boat to Sydney via the Strait of Hormuz.
