conditions made it work or not. In the end contacted Asko who informed me it was out of Warranty a month prior. All be it the warranty is for 60 months without fault and I was lucky to get 55 months without fault, they said out of warranty and didn't care, what was worse than it being out of warranty now (Not when the fault happened) is the lack of assistance or empathy. Told to phone a local repairer or fix it myself. Service department has ghosted me and refuses to answer emails. For an alleged High End Washing Machine, the service and care from Asko couldn't be more bottom end. It is a $2000 Washing Machine, I was expecting better from the product and much better from the service and help line. Last Contact with Asko was them saying sorry it was only a 2 year warranty not 5 year as first advised. Still no offer to help fix or suggestions what could be wrong, just reiteration to get an external service company in to look at it. In the end I gambled with replacing the water inlet valve unit myself, suspecting a solenoid valve issue as per Dr Google and it fixed it.

I own an ASKO washing machine, and while the machine itself can perform well at times, I’ve had an ongoing issue with an E7 error code appearing… Read more
intermittently. After contacting ASKO, I was advised to check filters and hoses for blockages. I followed all instructions carefully and found no issues. The machine worked for one load, but on the very next cycle, the same E7 error returned. I then booked a technician under warranty and had to wait a full week. When the technician arrived, he only ran a single test cycle without clothes, detergent, or real usage conditions, which of course worked fine. He then accessed the service history, which clearly showed the E7 error had occurred more than 10 times. Despite this clear evidence and my detailed explanation of when and how the fault occurs, the technician refused to fix the machine because he “could not replicate the issue” on the spot. He explicitly dismissed my explanation and stated he would not take my word for it. When I asked what I should do when the error happens mid-cycle—leaving clothes soaking wet and unusable—his response was essentially that it wasn’t his problem and I should just call again and wait for another visit. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Being told to repeatedly wait for service while dealing with a known, recorded fault is unacceptable. Even worse was the dismissive and unprofessional attitude from the technician, who made me feel like my concerns were not valid. At this point, I cannot recommend ASKO—not just because of the recurring fault, but because of the poor after-sales support and lack of accountability.

delivered to Harvey Norman for them to deliver - at additional cost of course! Then the machine failed within 2 weeks of installation. The door keeps claiming that it is not closed so will not begin washing. It was almost impossible to obtain satisfaction from the “customer service” and required repeated insistence that what was offered was not acceptable. A local Technician did visit quickly once that was agreed to but sadly was unable to fix the fault. Additional replacement parts were ordered but took longer than acceptable to arrive and still didn’t fix the issue. We now are waiting for Asko to contact us regarding replacement of the machine. Who knows how long this is going to take. I purchased a “premium” product at a price that is extremely “premium” however the service certainly is not commensurate with the price. I responded to an email request from Asko to provide a review to them which they then refused to publish because it was not “within their guidelines”??? Of course they would not want the truth made available to other customers so I will complete reviews wherever I can to assist others to avoid the same ordeal.
