The dryer has been very problematic to date. I have logged two warranty calls on this dryer. Now 3 years old the dryer has the same fault again, i.e.… Read more

not drying clothes again. Electrolux have said I need to pay for this repair even though the lack of drying issue has happened twice under manufactures warranty. I will be taking this further under consumer law.

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS DESIGN - DO NOT BUY! Mandatory "Anti-Crease" feature that CANNOT be disabled. When the cycle finishes, the machine ,keeps… Read more

tumbling every single minute for up to an HOUR.I want to run my appliance, go to bed, and have it STOP when it is done. Instead, I have to listen to it tumble all night or physically get out of bed to turn the dial to "Off."Forcing a mandatory 60-minute post-cycle run onto customers with zero setting to turn it off is a major design flaw. If you like sleeping in peace, buy literally any other brand. Total waste of money.

Dryer just doesn't dry – Waste of money - just get a conventional dryer. This dryer doesn't dry clothes.. after 2-3 hours they can still come out damp requiring to go on… Read more

again... have tried extra dry, long time programs and can have better results hanging washing out in the rain. We bought this thinking we'd do the energy efficient thing and have preservered for months trying to give it a chance. Should have sent it back after we got it... can't wait for it to die and we can go back to a standard convection dryer that actually dries clothes.

The Electrolux 6kg dryer is good family friendly budget dryer , I like the fact that the sensor's in the drum senses how wet or dry the clothes are and whatever program you choose it'll set the time after a shorter period

Dryer works as it should with a couple of caveats. 1 the annoying end of cycle sound and that it keeps running in repeating short bursts after - ie… Read more

you have to go and actually turn it off rather than auto shut off.

The other issue was a fault developed after 18 months where it lost its ability to rotate the load. This required service call and a replacement of a 'capacitor'.

Of course waiting for a service call is many days without a dryer so it pays to have one in reserve (which we do).

Update Feb '26 Capacitor issue repaired mentioned above lasted all of 6 months before machine failed - avoid this one at all costs
