Carman's Food & Drink Products
Love it but not this time – I have this every morning with Greek yogurt, banana and blueberries. I love it but the last box was very disappointing as it was mostly crumbs. I will keep buying it for now. Show details
Very hard to open – Love all the products, people with ARTHRITIS in the hands, would be a hard to open the bars without someone to help.
Quality has gone down the toilet but the price remains sky high. So disappointed, as this used to be a premium product. The bar has shrunk but the… Read more
packaging remains the original size giving the illusion that the bars are bigger. Very deceitful. Looks like I'll be going to buy Coles own brand for a third of the price. Shame on you Carmans.

I love the taste & texture of Carmen’s Peanut Butter Granola. I eat it everyday for breakfast or as a snack with yoghurt. Although the price is higher than other Granola’s I feel it’s worth it as I enjoy eating it. Show details
These nut bars taste ok for a snack food. Good for an afternoon snack on the odd occasion. Although it looks marketed as a healthy snack, I would… Read more
classify it as confectionery. Each 35g bar has nuts and puffed rice glued together with glucose, brown rice syrup and additionally sweetened with honey. The label on the front says it has 5g of protein, but the nutritional panel says it has 6g. In any case, it’s only slightly higher than the sugar content, and not a level to boast about. You could simply eat a handful of nuts or have an egg if you’re after protein and skip the cane sugar. It could be better if they had more nuts than only 62% and if the gluey glucose coating was less prominent and sticky. Each bar is inside single use plastic which may be short term practical but I find unappealing and it would be good if they could have them wrapped in a biodegradable wrapping.
I have been eating Carman's bars since they came out, was lucky to sample them on an aeroplane flight. Just opened a Roasted Nut bar, dark chocolate,… Read more
cherry and coconut and thought I had a dud. Then I checked the label. They have now shrunk to 32g, from what used to be 45g. Carman's have for some time now been packaging them with 5 bars and not the original 6. And the price has almost doubled. Product shrinkage has been in the news a lot lately. I thought Carman's would have been better, but it seems greed always wins out. Or will it? So, bye bye Carman's and hello to the very good alternative I have found, just as good quality and almost half the price. Regards An ex 15 year supporter of Carman's.
Breakfast “bleh” in a glitzy box – Not good enough for 3 stars (60%), not bad enough for 2 (40%). It’s a “bleh” or a “meh” product depending on your local dialect. The honey taste and… Read more
the nuts content balance perfectly … not a much of either. Big glitzy “click bait” box, not so big contents (photo has had 2 small breakfasts removed). Far too many “fines” (the dusty sand sized particles) in the bottom of the bag. But otherwise inoffensive. YOU might love them … but probably not.
Get an extra burnt black thing in your packet. Tried their email but doesn't work. Show details

this package costs everyone - waste in packaging materials, space in transportation, space on supermarket shelves, space in pantries, increased volumes for packaging recycling/landfill. Send a message - there are plenty of alternative muesli's and some have less sugar!
Contains 2x as much sugar as Coke. Made me so unwell. Full of fructose & sugar (20%). High fructose corn syrup anyone? – Oh for the love of not writing off a day. I will never eat this rubbish again. This is not my first rodeo with this muesli. However last time I felt… Read more
sick, I put it down to something else I ate. However the only other thing I ate yesterday was their nut bars.
These contain fructose and golden syrup. Fructose is extremely bad on the GI scale. It also set off an inflammatory condition and I'm aching all over. I feel like I went and had a night on the Tequila.
The serving sizes are ridiculous and equate to about a third of a cup. Who eats a third of a cup of muesli as a serving?
Coke contains 10% sugar. I consider a serving to be 100ml/100g. Carman's Deluxe Fruit & Nut Muesli contains 20% sugar. I consider a real serving size to be 100g. I would be better off drinking the coke than eating this.
It comes in a 400g box. 4-5 serves for around $8. That's with around 80 grams of sugar! 20 TEASPOONS OF SUGAR! Mmmm... healthy.
I just paid $15 with the bars and muesli to feel terrible. The best thing about this product is the cardboard box it came in. And that's if you don't count the deceptive serving size of 35g, something they did just to improve the health star rating. Absolute rubbish. If you're still wondering if it tastes good, the answer is no.
For allergy testing I HAD to eat things that made me feel bad. I have not even had instant gluten noodles with msg and soy make me feel as bad as this product did. Stay away from pretend health products if you know what's good for you. These sugars are bad news for everyone.
Were good value n healthy choice .. no longer my choice..bye – I definitely won't be buying carmens muesli bars anymore. They have reduced the size and put the price up. used to always be in my pantry..but no… Read more
longer. I even put one on my scales and it wasn't even the stated 45grams..super stingy false advertising
