machine pipe. I took all necessary measures to repair the pipe and hired professional services to dry the carpet and floor, spending $1000. I then filed a claim through their portal. A customer support officer contacted me a week later. I explained that the carpet still has a musty smell and needs to be replaced. I was informed that an inspection is required before any further action can be taken. However, no one has arrived or even contacted for the inspection, and there is no way to check the status online—in this age of AI, the absence of an online portal demonstrates their lack of concern for customers. I sent an email, and after 3-4 days, I received a response stating that a builder will come to inspect, with no estimated time of arrival. Meanwhile, we have been unable to use the bedroom and have had to move into another room. This poor service from a well-known company has compelled me to resolve the issue myself and discontinue my building and content insurance with BUPA.
